I had a wonderful stay at Nine Tree Hotel. The location was perfect—very convenient and close to shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job every day. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul. Highly recommended!

Have a splendid start at this hotel but left with disappointment. Left a cake inside the fridge when we are heading to the airport. Then we were like okay, we had a friend who stayed in the same hotel who can help us to take the cake too. My fd was really looking forward for this cake, somehow the cake “never existed “. Being told they didn’t find anything from the fridge. Well, if you took it, just be honest about it. I still can’t believe it’s 2026 and a chained hotel will behave like this. I have stayed in many chained hotel worldwide, but it’s my first time being treated like this. Well, good thing I knew abt this and will never come back. Thanks for this “excellent” customer service while you paid this much per night.
We stayed here for a week in June 2026. We booked a room with a pretty weird layout by accident, but we still got a really comfortable night's sleep. The hotel itself is clean, safe, neat, and cozy. They have luggage storage and a laundry room in the basement. Plus, every floor has its own dedicated room with a steam iron and a water dispenser. Having a GS25 right in the lobby is super convenient, and the location is an absolute winner—just a 5-minute walk to Euljiro 3-ga station. The hotel is surrounded by tons of restaurants, cafes, and other convenience stores. It’s on a pretty lively street with office buildings around. Right next door, there's a Woori Bank (super handy for ATM cash withdrawals) and a Starbucks. Plus, it's less than a 10-minute walk to Myeongdong - heavenly shopping belt line 😃
Our stay at Nine Tree by Parnas Seoul Myeongdong 2 from April 9 to April 12, 2026, was a mixed experience. First, I would like to recognize the positive aspects of the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, and the hotel's location was convenient for exploring Seoul. We specifically chose this hotel because it appeared to be centrally located, allowing us easy access to markets, restaurants, street food, and many of the attractions we wanted to experience during our visit. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was disappointing. Throughout our stay, the front desk was often unattended when we needed assistance. When staff members were available, we did not feel welcomed or supported. We found several interactions to be unfriendly and lacking the warmth and hospitality that travelers hope to receive when visiting a foreign country. Hospitality is much more than providing a room. Guests rely on hotel staff for guidance, recommendations, and assistance. We expected that a hotel in such a central tourist area would provide basic information about the neighborhood, including maps, recommendations for local markets, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Instead, we found ourselves searching for everything on our own using online maps because little assistance was offered. As a traveler living with ALS, accessibility is extremely important to me. When making our reservation, I specifically requested accommodations appropriate for a person with mobility limitations. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not truly accessible. For many individuals with disabilities, stepping over a bathtub is difficult, unsafe, or simply impossible. An accessible bathroom should include a walk-in shower or other accommodations that allow a person with limited mobility to bathe safely. I also requested a chair because standing for extended periods is very difficult due to my condition. The response I received suggested that obtaining a chair was not a simple request. Accessibility equipment should not be treated as an unusual accommodation. Hotels that welcome guests with disabilities should be prepared to provide basic items that help guests maintain their independence, comfort, and safety. I share these comments not out of anger, but in the hope that they will encourage improvement. People with disabilities travel, explore the world, and deserve the same level of service, dignity, and respect as any other guest. When a hotel advertises accessibility, guests should be able to trust that their needs will be understood and accommodated. The room itself was comfortable, and the location was good. However, the lack of attentive customer service and the limited understanding of accessibility needs significantly affected our overall experience. During our trip to Korea, we stayed in several hotels. What made the difference was not the building, the furniture, or the location—it was the people. Kindness, hospitality, and genuine care create memorable experiences. I hope the management team will consider these observations and use them as an opportunity to improve the guest experience for future visitors, especially for those traveling with disabilities or visiting Seoul for the first time. Sincerely, Maria and Vilma Guests from April 9–12, 2026
Pros The location is excellent, with many local restaurants nearby and a subway station just a short walk away. The team was very helpful, and both the room and bathroom were spotless. There is also a convenience store in the hotel lobby, along with a small area offering free water and ironing facilities. Cons The breakfast quality and selection were quite average, with exactly the same items served every day during our 5-night stay. The reception team was also not very knowledgeable about tours and tourist activities available from the hotel.
