It's good, not great. Location is very good. The rooms are not very well designed (it's too complex to work the lights, lack of charging options on both sides of the bed). It has a 7-11 on the main level so that is helpful.

Excellent location. Seamless experience and service. The floor being made of rug makes it feel a little less than perfectly higenic. We were informed about construction noise, however the noise isolation is outstanding and not a single thing can be heard from outside.

The hotel was in a great location. Access to subway very convenient and shopping in the famous myeongdong district is 5-10 minute walk. Check in was easy and we got into our rooms early. This was great. The hallways are warm and it seems the AC is on low. It was muggy. We got into our room and it was fine until we started the AC. You can set it to 15 degrees C, however it never dropped below 20. I need it to be cold to get a good sleep. We spoke to the cont desk and the sent two technicians and both said that rooms in the hotel do not drop below 20. Our boys room dipped below 20. 🤷🏻♀️ We were offered a fan which helped and were also to move to another room, however we chose not to move because we were all Settled at this point. We also read the letter from the hotel that said there is construction and it may be loud, so earplugs were provided. We did not need them as we were not in the hotel during construction.

We had an amazing experience at Lotte City Hotel Seoul. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Myeongdong, with shops, restaurants, and public transport all within walking distance. The breakfast was very good, offering a wide variety of international dishes to suit different tastes. However, I think it would be even better if some of the menu items were changed daily to add more variety. It would also be great to include more vegan and vegetarian options, even though I am not a vegetarian. The pastry selection was also a bit limited. The room size was comfortable, but for a family of four it felt slightly cramped. Despite that, the overall comfort and excellent service made our stay very enjoyable. Overall, I would rate the hotel 4 out of 5 based on the rooms and facilities. However, considering the outstanding service and unbeatable location in the heart of Myeongdong, I would happily give it 4.5 out of 5. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality. We stayed in Rooms 607 and 603, and truly appreciated everything your team did to make our stay enjoyable. We would be happy to stay here again on our next visit to Seoul.

Great location and very nice room. Initial room was a bit too small for the three of us so we paid to upgrade to a suite on 3rd floor. Worked out well. Two bedrooms and three bed was solid. We appreciated the extra space, dual TV, and dual closets. Service was excellent. Room made everyday helped us keep things tidy. My wife needed to see urgent care due to a sensitive stomach and we were given assistance to find the ER and cab. Thanks, that worked out. Location is the major consideration for eating and shopping and things where the hotel really shines. Just a block away from myeongdong area where we went everyday for hojicha lattes, dinners, cat cafe, shopping, and desserts. Additionally the hotel has a 7 even built in on the first floor and backside for taxis. Highly recommend.
