Le Meridien Seoul, Myeongdong

Overall: 3.5/5 The best part of this hotel is the location if you want to stay in Myeongdong. The front desk and concierge staff were consistently friendly and helpful. They even provided packing tape for our luggage, and the bell staff was prompt and professional. Breakfast was also well prepared with some high-quality ingredients. The downside is the hardware. The entrance and lobby feel surprisingly small and underwhelming for a luxury hotel. The rooms are also quite small, with an awkward layout, narrow windows, no real view, and finishes that feel cheaper than expected. The bathroom countertop coating and lightweight doors make the room feel less premium, and the soundproofing could be better. Overall, the service was excellent, but I don’t think the room quality justifies the price. If I visit Seoul again, I would probably choose another hotel in a different area rather than staying in Myeongdong.

They’re so nice here. Hospitality at its finest! Staying 6 nights here. Great location. Couldn’t find the drop off location for taxis originally but we did eventually. Kinda wish they didn’t have a lounge because my mom and aunt are obsessed lmao jk. Marie (one of the lounge attendants) is the absolute sweetest and always goes above and beyond with making my fam feel comfy. Eric (checked us in when we arrived) was incredibly helpful and kind. We met Lily (in the lounge) as well and she too has been so cordial and welcoming.

Giving 5 stars because of the staff, in particular Angela. Our room’s air conditioning was not functioning properly and Angela was an absolute star making sure we were taken care of. Maintenance was promptly called and we were immediately moved to another room. Angela checked up on us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Their concierge is also extremely friendly and helpful and assisted me with a reservation. The hotel management clearly takes great pride in making sure guests are comfortable and happy. Highly recommended!

Thank you to this hotel for the excellent service! As a loyal customer with high status, this hotel was SUPER accommodating. Arriving early after an international flight, they checked and found a room available to check in early to. They also found an upgrade corner room which had awesome views of the city from 2 sides. The front desk, lobby entrance downstairs, club lounge and restaurant were all very professional and did everything with a smile. All looking to see how they could be accommodating. The room itself was modern, clean and very functional. Loved it. Great location close to 2 subway stops (Eujiro 1 or Myeong dong) and easy to get around in. Appreciate everything this hotel offered and their staff for making it a memorable stay.
