This was my first visit, and I had a wonderful time. I was a little worried because I heard it was a bit dated, but the room condition was excellent, and the gym, sauna, and swimming pool were all spacious and convenient to use. I was particularly impressed by the reliable service from the staff; thanks to Aiden, who helped me during check-in and coincidentally again during check-out, I was able to have an even more pleasant stay.

What truly distinguishes this hotel isn’t just the beautiful property or its outstanding location—it’s the people. Every interaction with the staff was warm, genuine, and professional. Their hospitality made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived until the day I checked out. The Executive Lounge is simply exceptional. The lounge staff consistently delivered world-class service throughout breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. They remembered guests, anticipated needs, and made the lounge feel more like a private club than a hotel amenity. As a vegetarian traveling in Seoul, finding quality meals can be surprisingly difficult. In fact, many visitors hire private food guides that cost around $89 USD just to discover good vegetarian restaurants. JW Marriott Seoul completely eliminated that challenge. The vegetarian pho in the Executive Lounge was one of the best meals I had during my entire visit to Korea. Rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, fresh vegetables, and customizable toppings—it was so good that I found myself looking forward to it every day. Honestly, the vegetarian pho alone is reason enough to stay at this hotel. The lounge also impressed with its beverage selection. Having excellent local Korean beer on draft was a wonderful touch and a great way to experience local flavors without leaving the hotel. The coffee and tea selections were extensive and of excellent quality. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be to add a matcha latte option to an already outstanding beverage program. The desserts were another unexpected highlight. The beautiful matcha cake was delicious and perfectly complemented the lounge’s excellent tea offerings. For vegetarian travelers, business travelers, or anyone looking for an exceptional luxury hotel experience in Seoul, I cannot recommend JW Marriott Seoul highly enough. Between the extraordinary staff, one of the finest Executive Lounges I’ve experienced, outstanding food and beverages, and genuine attention to guests’ needs, this hotel sets a standard that many luxury hotels should aspire to. I will absolutely return on my next visit to Seoul. Five stars without hesitation. There were too many outstanding staff members on the executive lounge to call out.

One of the best luxury hotels integrated with Shinsegae connected through the luxury brand stores and right above three subway lines at the Express Bus Terminal. The morning breakfast place at Flavors provide the best Korean and western spread of food with indisputable food quality and taste. The business lunch in Korean sets served at the meeting room are the same quality with great portion that some finds difficult in finish eating. It has a great gym that unfortunately has very limited equipment for arms and back strength training so it's difficult to wait until they're available. The only recommendation to the hotel is to add those equipment. Overall a very satisfying stay especially for those who have good sense of direction and won't get lost getting to the hotel. Uber rides are fairly accessible too.
