Four Seasons Hotel Seoul

We stayed for four days and had a fantastic experience. This hotel truly exceeded our expectations and delivers a wonderful experience. The facilities are outstanding. The fitness center is one of the largest and best-equipped hotel gyms we have ever seen. We also loved the lap pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering an incredible variety of high-quality food. Every morning was something to look forward to. We would especially like to thank Mark, who works at the breakfast buffet. His service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our mornings enjoyable. He is a true asset to the hotel. Every member of the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made our visit even more memorable. The hotel's location is another major advantage. It's situated in a quieter part of the city, away from the hustle and bustle, while still providing quick and convenient access to Seoul's main attractions.

We had a truly amazing visit to the Four Seasons in Seoul this summer. My husband, two teen girls and I stayed on the club level and enjoyed stunning rooms, exceptional service, and all of the convenience of the club lounge during our visit. My husband was there on business and the rest of us were there for fun. The concierge arranged lovely tours for us with a fantastic guide, the transportation from the airport was seamless, and every staff member was helpful and attentive to making sure that my daughter with Celiac disease had safe and delicious food at every meal. The location of the hotel was perfect for everything we wanted to see, and was walking distance to many great attractions and shopping areas. Thank you for a wonderful visit, we can't wait to come back!

Our stay in spectacular Four Seasons Seoul was outstanding! The attention to all details, very quick response to all our needs and questions, Michelin quality food in all restaurants, including the breakfast buffet! What was amazed me - it is personal involvement of General Manager Mr. Michael Schmid in all level of service- you can see him at the very early morning hours personally talking to guests, remembering your questions and making sure that all hosts are happy with their stay!

I had high expectations for Four Seasons Seoul, but got the overall impression that the hotel was operating beyond the capacity of its facilities. The recurring theme throughout our stay was that many of their services seemed oversubscribed. We were unable to secure a spa appointment despite trying to book weeks in advance. The bar was fully booked on our first night, and while we managed to reserve a spot on the second night, there was a minimum spend requirement even for hotel guests looking for a nightcap. The hotel also felt unusually crowded. The lobby was often packed, elevator rides involved multiple stops, and luggage delivery was slow. Breakfast was adequate but unremarkable. We expected a stronger emphasis on freshly prepared à la carte offerings rather than predominantly buffet options. We did appreciate the Amex late checkout benefit, although our key cards were deactivated at exactly 1 pm despite us having advised the hotel of our planned departure time. One bright spot was the in-house taxi service, which was convenient and could be charged directly to the room. None of these issues on their own would have been significant, but taken together they created the impression of a hotel that was simply trying to accommodate more guests than its facilities could comfortably support. Four Seasons is known for exceptional service, which is why the experience felt somewhat underwhelming relative to expectations.
