Perfect view, room, and service. The air conditioning, which has been mentioned by others, was fully modernized, so there was no functional problem. The room has a perfect view of Segovia, inclusive of the aqueduct, cathedral, and alcazar. The staff were very friendly; they permitted us to check out slightly later so that we could deal with some minor urgency. We will definitely come back to the place again if we get a chance to visit Segovia again in the future.

The staff at this hotel is among the most unfriendly I have ever encountered. There seems to be no concept of customer service whatsoever. At every moment, you get the feeling that you are bothering the staff simply by asking for assistance. The hotel itself is stunning. It is a beautiful 1970s brutalist building with breathtaking views of the city and the potential to offer an incredible guest experience. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff completely undermines it. The most frustrating example occurred when we asked reception to help us arrange a taxi, as there is no Uber or Cabify service available in the area and we were unable to book one ourselves. Our train to Madrid was departing in 40 minutes. The taxi took more than 30 minutes to arrive, and we ultimately missed our train. What was most disappointing was not the wait itself, as we understand that taxi availability is beyond the hotel’s control. Rather, it was the attitude of the reception staff. We were simply asking for assistance with arranging a taxi, yet it felt as though we were making an unreasonable request rather than asking for a basic service that reception is there to provide. In the end, you come to such a beautiful place, with stunning views of the city, hoping to relax and enjoy a pleasant weekend, only to find yourself affected by the negative atmosphere created by a staff that consistently makes guests feel like an inconvenience.
We stopped over for two nights early May 2026. We were enroute to Santander from the Costa Del Sol towing our JBA Falcon in its trailer. Easy parking was available, which was a factor in choosing this hotel. The other factors were its location and Parador comfort. We didn't have breakfast but we did have one evening meal and enjoyed the traditional set meal. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. There is a video on the well known video channel you may enjoy that features Segovia and other parts of Spain. Help me raise money for Cancer Research by visiting DocksideGlyn.
A rather modern Parador. Located on the hill north of town. Allow an hour to walk down the path to Alcazar or Aquaduct. Alternatively around 10 € in taxi. Nice and helpful staff. Fantastic view towards old town from balconies. Rooms have two chairs and a table beside the bed. Ok bathroom. Clean. Well doing free wifi. We miss a water heater and an info map in room. Good restaurant. Breakfast is buffet to grab with the donated pins. Eggs may be ordered a la carte. A nice place to stay in Segovia.
We stayed two nights. All rooms seem to have a great view of Segovia and its aqueduct and cathedral, as well as the very picturesque mountain range. The food was better than at most paradors and the breakfast excellent. The hotel is very compact and easy to get around, with the parking very close to the entrance. The indoor pool was very warm.
