Combo: Cagliari Old Town And The Oasis Of Flamingos

Ok Segway tour. We nearly left as the office was locked up, but somebody finally turned up 20 minutes late. Most of the time was spent travelling to the salt flats to see the flamingos which was ok, but there was little to see on the way. Old Town was better. Alessia was a nice guide.

We did the Secway Combo tour with Luca. He was an awesome guide and made the tour so enjoyable. He was also a great guide for the major sites, explaining the historical significance of each. Luca was very patient and made sure we were comfortable on the segways before we began the tour. It was our favorite tour of our trip so far. Don't hesitate to book it.

What a great way to get around the city: segway rules! Our guide Roberto was fantastic, very knowledgable and super nice. We enjoyed the whole experince and highly recommend it.

Fabulous views and a great way to see such a lot. The old town was the best part and being able to go uphill without any effort was amazing. Lydia our guide was the best and so kind.

Company is a fraud! Booked months ago, company changed my meeting time 3 times, then cancelled the day before without telling me! They claim I cancelled which I didn’t, we even turned up for the experience which they didn’t want to do, wanted to sell me a difference experience at an inflated price.

Luca was a fun guide! This was one of our favorite activities in Sardinia. Navigating the old narrow streets and seeing the flamingoes were the highlights.

We were a family of 3 and anxious about the tour having never ridden a Segway . However our instructor Lydia was super patient and charming . We were able to start the tour after a little training and virtual experts by the end of the tour . We were guided round the port area , the old salt pans to see the flamingos and the old town . Really enjoyed the tour with Lydia and would very much recommend !

Luca was a great and entertaining tour guide. Took care of the novices like me and made me feel comfortable. This tour is far more fun getting around steep and narrow streets than a motor vehicle. Once you work out how they run it’s awesome!! I’m 60 so it’s not just for the young but also the young at heart!

We did the Segway tour after arriving in port on a cruise. Luca was our tour director and he did a wonderful job of teaching new riders how to work a Segway and then taking us on a tour of the old part of the city and then a beautiful ride out to the flamingo sanctuary. I would highly recommend the experience!

We had a fantastic time on this tour with Ivo. We were 4 people...2 were experienced and 2 were beginners. Ivo was a great instructor and very patient. We loved seeing the pink flamingos and stopping for a quick cappuccino. We covered a lot of ground and felt like we saw half of the island. We hope to book another tour with Ivo.

Saw some great places round the city, Luca was very helpful, lots of knowledge and very nice, had a great time! The flamingos were great!

I really struggled to get the hang of the Segway at first but our instructor was kind and patient. After a short while I gained confidence and felt totally safe on it. There were loads of flamingoes to see by the salt mine then the view from the top of the old town castle was stunning. I'd recommend doing this on your first day to give you an overview of the city but wear loads of sunscreen because being outdoors for 3 hours in 40c was roasting! At least the Segway meant we could explore with minimum physical exertion! Our instructor was equally knowledgeable and likeable so we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with him for the afternoon. Fully recommend this tour!!

Ivo gave us an excellent tour. Took us to see the flamingos at the lake, but in the way stopped so that we could see the dolphins in tandem catching fish. And the tour of the town was superb. Highly recommended.

Luca provided a really enjoyable and informative tour of the city and national park and took great care of us throughout. The segways were so much fun too. Highly recommend :)

An extremely enjoyable experience learning about the history of the city. The terrain was challenging for a first time Segway user and fun for an experienced one. It was a treat to see flamingos in their natural habitat so near to a city.

Riding the Segway is really a lot of fun. The tour is well organized, you see a lot of the city and the flamingos can be observed well. Our guide Juan even had binoculars with him 😃

We had a nice afternoon with 6 German girls. She on the Segway we on the e-bike. Ridden a nice trip and spotted flamingos. Our guide was Casper, nice fun young guy who knew a lot to tell. Took his time and had a nice coffee at the end. Highly recommended. Only go well on time because parking is not easy.

We were unfortunately half an hour late and infinitely grateful for the flexibility of the tour providers!! We came from the Costa Rei and had actually chosen a parking facility in advance, but then there was not. Great, we got an extra tour...very cult!! Roberto explained everything with passion and told a lot. Very prudent and concerned with safety when driving a Segway. By the way, a great way to get around Cagliari.

Relaxed guide (= owner), good English, well-chosen route, especially at the old town part a lot of driving fun and to see. The use of the Segways was easier to learn than feared, after some exercises and meters came a sense of security, support in city traffic by Ivo was safety-conscious, always hints and help at critical points. It was great fun. We also booked a tour to the lighthouse with him, also recommended. Every now and then a little more speed and driving exercises on free tracks or courses to improve the device feel and fun factor would have been an icing on the cake, but we also understand his "safety first".

Segway fahren macht einfach super Spaß und die Tour ist eine tolle und sehr imposante Runde! Die Kombi aus Altstadt (wäre ohne Segway bei der Wärme und den Höhenmetern sehr anstrengend) und Salinen ist optimal.

Definitely recommended, you see a lot and driving is great fun, learns very quickly and after 5 min you feel safe. Ivo explains very well and knows a lot about the city. In the end he recommended us a great restaurant - really great.
