The vehicles are automatic and easy to drive. They are shared two-person per quad. If you order for 2 participants, you will ride in the same vehicle but switch out driving duties. The first stretch will allow you to gain confidence, then off you go! You will be delighted with the fantastic views, and your guide will have bottled water ready for you along the trails. Your knowledgeable local guide will share his expertise, providing historical and exciting anecdotes to help make this a very personal experience.
Along the captivating promontory on the southwestern extremity of Sardinia, various coves open up, in a dazzling beach, among the most beautiful in the south of the Island, a place of wonderful nature and history.
Built-in 1854 by the Italian Navy, the Lighthouse of Capo Spartivento was one of twenty lighthouses wanted by Victor Emmanuel II of Savoy, whose wrought-iron initials still feature above the entrance door. The target of the American planes’ machine guns during World War II was restored only once, right after the conflict. It housed the lighthouse keepers until the 1980s when the light signal was automated, and their work was no longer required. It faded into oblivion for over 30 years, until 2006, when its new life began. A metamorphosis that started years ago, a childhood dream set aside for a long time, an ambitious project that has become a reality thanks to the passion and dedication of those who put their heart and soul in it. Today, with its guiding light still shining, Faro Capo-Spartivento is the first and the only lighthouse in Italy converted into a guest house: a project prized by the Italian Navy as a fine example of military architectural restoration.
A precious gem in the vast treasure of Chia, the smallest and most delightful beach along a heavenly stretch of the extreme southwestern coast of Sardinia. During this stop from June till September only for the three-hour tours, it's possible to swim on this beautiful beach and bring your swimsuit and towel.
Specialist journals consider the ‘jewel’ of the southwestern coastline to be one of Sardinia's ten most beautiful beaches. Everyone should experience such an exhilarating and breathtaking excursion like this. When I woke up this morning, I questioned my sanity in booking a four wheeler excursion. But I already told my 10 year old daughter, so there was no backing out. I’m fairly sedentary and not the thrill seeker I used to be. However, the four wheeler equipment was top notch. They had me do a few circle 8s on their personal track and the guide made me feel extremely secure. I was forthcoming with my zero experience on a four wheeler. The day was perfect. He led the way. I’m certain he dialed down the challenge of the course he chose for us but it was very safe and nothing as challenging as my fears were trying to make me believe. The panoramic views were once in a lifetime fabulous. The beaches were places I would never have dared to trek to never mind have the pleasure of swimming in. This was one of the most fun mornings I’ve spent. Pony up for the four hour tour. Pack some snacks and water if you have kids. Make a reservation at Mirage for 1:30 and head over for a cocktail and some delicious food to round out a perfect day.

Was a great experience and way to see some of the coast and mountain areas of south Sardinia! Even though it was off season and not the greatest weather for swimming, our guide took as along beautiful beaches and chnaged up the tour so we could drive through the mountains rather than all beaches. It was an amazing experience along with some information about the history of Sardinia. Would highly recommend, even if it’s not in the warmer months!!

The guide was very nice and open, and we particularly appreciated the interesting background information about the island and local flora/history/landmarks during the stops along the island. Quads were great (and easy to handle - also for beginners) and the route was very scenic.

We had the pleasure to see an outstanding sunset with beautiful colors. The pick up service was so nice, we had no effort to drive to the quads. We are looking forward to repeat it next year again.👍
Beautiful scenery. Comfortable quads, good guide. Mixture of on and off road driving. Next time, is pack water and food as the type is long enough and you break midway. Would've been nice to snack/drink at that point.

What an amazing experience for family and friends! We were a group of two families with young kids (8 and 13). We booked 3 tours (quad bikes, boat tour and tour of Cagliari) and were impressed at the professionalism and knowledge of Junior, our tour guide, who spoke perfect English. The whole trip was amazing, from driving through the mountains to a visit to different beautifull spots along the shore. The guide was very kind and had lots of information about the different spots visited. Make sure to wear appropriate clothes (nothing light colored) as you may end up a bit dusty.
This was an amazing way to see the mountains of Sardinia. Our guide was incredibly friendly and attentive. The day of our tour was extremely rainy so he gave us free ponchos and took photos/videos of us driving through the water haha. Amazing experience. We did the Quad tour from Chia, great experience! The guide was very friendly and guided us through a numerous amount of dusty roads and even roads that are only made available for Bitan tours! We made a few stops with breath taking views and there was also some room for swimming :) The 3 hours flew by!

Even the two hour quad tour takes you through varying terrain and amazing landscapes. The views of the ocean and the coast are stunning both from near and afar. Riding a quad is generally a very enjoyable experience. These things are super sturdy and can handle any trail. The guide ensures the trip is safe, fun, and the participants learn a little bit about the area.

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to participate in one of the quad excursions organized by Bitan. The experience was simply amazing, and I want to tell you every detail. Meeting and Preparation The excursion started at 9am sharp, and after a short training to get comfortable with the powerful 450cc four-wheel drive quads, we were ready for the adventure. The Adventure Begins Traveling along a dirt road, we reached our first stop, Cala Cardolinu. The possibility of bathing in those clear and exclusive waters, otherwise reachable only on foot, was a real joy. Breathtaking Views and Expert Guides Junior, our tour leader, was exceptional in guiding us through the route, showing us the view from the ancient lighthouse of Capo Spartivento, now transformed into a luxury hotel. The view was truly breathtaking, and we learned that it is even more magical at sunset. Relax in Malfatano The stop in Malfatano was another highlight, with another refreshing swim and the possibility of a shower and drink at a nearby kiosk. The Last Cove: A Hidden Treasure The last cove, whose name I don't remember, reachable by using 4-wheel drive due to the bumpy route, was the icing on the cake. Very few people and fantastic water made the place a true paradise. Conclusions Returning to Domus de Maria at the end of the excursion, I was filled with a feeling of gratitude for having experienced a truly extraordinary morning. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for adventure and pristine beauty. The professionalism, organization and natural wonders encountered along the way made this experience unique and unforgettable.
Very good experience, we stopped at 2 places with amazing views. Thank you to our guide who was very friendly and spoke French. We rented 2 quads, the quad for 2 people is large and very comfortable. Prefer to book on site than on the internet. The place does not pay a mine on arrival, but the staff is very welcoming.
That was a great experience together with my sons and a friend. Mateo is a great host who makes it great and offers a fantastic route. The quads are mega and the landscape anyway. Everyone was very enthusiastic. Just make sure that there are different meeting places depending on the month, but that is only in the small print on the confirmation. So we arrived 15 min late, but that was not an issue. conclusion: Definitely recommended!

Me and my partner Emanuele, on our penultimate day of Sardinian holidays, we wanted to give ourselves a nice ride on brand new quods and we could not find a better tour operator! They accompanied us on the excursion called “Sea and Mountains” chosen by us, venturing through ups and downs and woods until we reach beautiful panoramic points. From there we continued to the sea, to allow ourselves a short break with bathing in Cala Malfatano (beautiful!!), then continuing along the coast ended up admiring the beautiful Cala Cipolla and climbing up to Capo Spartivento where he also told us a bit of history of that territory. The guide put us at ease right away, especially on excursions like ours that were just the two of us and him (sorry, we don't remember the name). In summary: well-organized 3-hour excursion in everything from staff, quods, security, customer care, places and views admired. Congratulations and thank you very much again Bitan!
We, or rather, my partner booked the excursion "seas and mountains", 3h tour, which took us to see part of the Sulcis hinterland, venturing through ups and downs and woods, until we get to beautiful viewpoints. From there we continued to the sea, to allow ourselves a short break with bathing in Cala Malfatano, continuing along the coast until admiring the beautiful Cala cipolla and climbing up to Cape Spartivento. The guide puts you at ease immediately, especially on excursions like ours, which we were only in 2 quads, both in terms of safety, and telling us about the beauty of the place. Great organization and attention to the customer! The price is worth the experience, super recommended!
Exceptional hike! Brand new quad bikes, fun route, on the road but also on dirt roads in the middle of the woods and to see places inaccessible by car and extraordinary! The fabulous guys .. explain the places , make you 100% safe throughout the journey .. and very nice!
