As we continue through the city, we’ll stop to bite into this iconic flaky pizza, topped with rich tomato and melted cheese. Most food we've ever had on a food tour. Ricardo was our excellent guide. Food choices were abundant we were stuffed, loads of pasta, apps. Would do it again. Couple of things to be aware of, long walks uphill and down to get to places. Also the tour company communicated via Whatsapp which is apparently very common in Italy with info regarding our guides. We had 4 groups of 12 and nobody had Whatsapp.
Maya was wonderful! Thoughtful and informative of everything we saw. The food was great, particularly the restaurant for pasta and a fabulous little desert. Also loved the antipasto at the second stop. Could eat that everyday. The shop owners were lovely. Highly recommend!
Francesca was exactly what we were looking for in a guide. She shared great knowledge of the region, the culture and the food. On our walking tour Francesca explained each part of the city, the architecture and the local cuisine. Our food stops were each good and informational. Francesca was great!

Wow!!! What a lovley evening strolling the streets of Cagliari whilst sampling some great local delicacies along the way. The food we had was delicious and would highly recommend. Our guide Riccardo was very knowledgeable about the area and the local dishes and took us to some fabulous places to eat. He even provided us with some amazing recommendations for places eat for the remainder of our stay. 5 stars. Would highly recommend and would definitely do it again.
Francesca was a wealth of information and answered all our questions plus more! It was not just about the food, but about the history of how they eat here as well, which made the food make sense. It was fun to go in places that we might not otherwise go and taste a new array of foods. I think perhaps I would NOT have bought the extra drink package because I didn't really get to CHOOSE the wine I drank - nothing wrong with the house wine, but I would have liked to see the label I was drinking or know more about it. The one benefit of the drinks package was the Mirto. I knew nothing about it and

Maya was an excellent and patient guide! I learned a great deal about the foods we ate and how they were unique in Cagliari and Sardinia. All the foods were beautifully presented and explained. All the foods were very tasty and high quality.
One of the best food tours I’ve ever been on! Ricardo was great-very personable, attentive, interesting. He also was kind enough to give us some fab restaurant recommendations. When he tells you where the best gelato in town is, listen! There was a vast amount of food; we had to take one place’s offering “to go” because we couldn’t eat another thing. There was a good variety on the tour, and everything was top quality. The places we visited were happy to accommodate food restrictions. We had wine at one place at the beginning and it helped make everyone a little chatty which made the evening more fun. I highly recommend Ricardo’s tour of Cagliari’s food scene. It was a highlight of our trip.

This tour was so much more than a foodie walk. We visited many stops that were unique, and would never have been found if we were by ourselves. The foods tasted were a broad expisure to Sardinian cuisine and the walks between brought much historical and modern history of Cagliari. Maya is a great guide and knows how to bring strangers together.
The tour exceeded expectations. Francesca was an exceptional guide. As she is from Sardinia, her insights into the local food and food culture were very much appreciated. The portion sizes and offerings were generous and quite delicious. The stops were well paced allowing us to explore much of the old city. A wonderful way to spend an evening in Cagliari!
Great food & drink tour with Francesca. We had more than enough to eat and drink and it was all very tasty. Plus she kept it interesting with knowledge of Sardinia. Enjoyable & fun with others from our cruise ship. We met at 11 am and quickly realised it would have been better to skip breakfast!!

Enrico was an absolutely wonderful guide! We ate so much delicious food, and even when we thought we could eat any more, it just kept coming! Enrico shared so many interesting aspects of Cagliari’s culture and at the end of the evening, we truly felt like this was more of a history tour than just focusing on food. He shared his love of locally-sourced Sardinian food, and expressed the role of food in daily life here in Cagliari. The tour had 4 stops : dessert, charcuterie with meats, cheeses, and wine, pastas, and coffee. Everything was authentic and delicious!
