We booked the 2-day, 1-night trekking tour with an overnight stay in a local homestay, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The trek itself was absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery and a great opportunity to experience the local area. Our guide, May, was truly lovely. She was friendly, helpful and always available whenever we needed anything, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Staying overnight in the homestay was a real highlight. Spending the evening there and getting to experience local life was something special and made the trip feel much more authentic than simply going on a day trek. It was a wonderful way to unwind after a day of walking and enjoy the hospitality of the local people. Another thoughtful touch was being able to take a shower back at the tour office after returning from the trek. After a couple of days of walking, this was incredibly useful and much appreciated before heading off to our next destination. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the area, enjoy some beautiful trekking and experience a local homestay. May was a brilliant guide and really helped make the trip memorable!
It was an incredible tour with a friendly and experienced quide Zhu. She showed and told me many interesting things about the places we visited. Her english was great and she could answer all my questions. Zhu led us along pleasant paths, on which we almost did not meet other tourists. Although some of them were for adventurous and sporty people. It wasn't a problem for me) I accidentally got on an individual tour, because and nobody else signed up. However, I felt completely safe as a female solo traveler. Homestay is a two-storey wooden house with cozy rooms and a beautiful view from the terrace. It was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend sitting on the second floor and looking at the stars! The host family is also very welcoming, and dining with them was a pleasure. And if you want coffee or cooling drinks, there's a lovely tiny café across the road overlooking the valley.
Dear Zhu, thank you very much for these two days. We have had a wonderful experience. Seeing the mountains, the ricefields, the different cultures etc We have enjoyed it very very much.
It was very nice experience, the tour gouide So So is very nice, i really recommend her!
Fantastic trip — I can highly recommend the Sapa trekking tour, and especially our wonderful, sweetest guide, Sang. She led us safely throughout the journey, shared fascinating insights about the local culture and everything we encountered along the way, and brought such incredible energy and joy — a true bundle of positivity! We also had the pleasure of joining the Fansipan tour with the same guide and company, which made the experience even more memorable. The homestay was super cozy; we received the warmest welcome and were truly well taken care of throughout our stay. Sang went above and beyond in every way — her kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm made this an unforgettable experience. We feel so lucky to have had her as our guide. Absolutely outstanding
Tung is great guide! She was very helpful all the way, her English is very good, she explained a lot about habits, nature and customs of tribes.
We took a two-day trip with Le through the rice paddies and valleys of Sapa. Le told us a lot about her culture and family life. She was empathetic and always helped us through difficult sections. She spontaneously planned and adapted everything for us. She was very friendly and helpful. We would book another tour with her anytime.
Had an amazing two day trek through the hills and valleys of Sapa, seeing local villages and views of mountains and rice terraces. Our guide Sang was wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable. The homestay in a local village was also very nice, with great food and accommodation. Would highly recommend this trek.
5 stars for guide Sang! A knowledgeable and professional guide who made our Sapa trek interesting and smooth. She was a great help with the locals, when ordering food, showed us the indigo plant (and made my hands all blue :)), took nice pictures and videos with our phone, reserved a super good homestay with delightful food, never pushed us too much, always cared that we feel good. She was like a second mom to us. I highly recommend her and hope to see her again.
!Great experience! It really exceeded my expectations. Everyone at the agency was super nice and helpful. You can leave your bags, take a shower—basically everything you need for a smooth trip. It’s a local agency with local guides, which makes it even better. A special thanks to our amazing guide Sang from the nearby village—she took care of everything and made the trek unforgettable.
It was a great expérience!! Very well organized, great views! We managed to see the rice terraced fields very close…. And special thanks to our guide Say, she was excellent
We had such a great tour with our amazing guide Li!! Starting from Sapa town Li took us over a mountain into the adjacent valley and into several local villages and communities. During the whole hike she gave us plenty of information about the live of the communities, the nature around and also some personal insights. We stayed at a super cute homestay in her village, everything was clean and nice and the food was delicious! They even suprised us the next morning with flowers and a birthday cake as one of our group had her birthday that day! We had such great 2 days and can only recommend this agency and especially Li as a guide - it was really really cool!
Amazing trek, the view were out of this world. « May » was our guide and she was so nice and knew how to answer any of our many questions during the 2 days. Would recommend to anyone 10 out of 10.
Very nice 2 days with guide Soso who told us more about the life her tribe lives! Also very cozy homestay at River in Hao Tau. We feel like we had a very real experience and avoided the big touristic things.
Amazing guide! And great views, even though it was cloudy. The river homestay was also very clean owned by very nice family
we spend two days and a night around sapa hills with the experienced and sweetest Ly, having the best time together, enjoying the amazing views, local people and culture, everything was on point and perfectly organised, we feel like at home, the homestay has been a gorgeous plus and the cooking lesson we had before dinner the perfect cherry on top! would absolutely recommend it as an unique experience that has to be done once in your life! thanks again Ly!
Very nice tour and authentic homestay in Ta Van. Our guide was very good and we got to learn a lot of their culture. A must do when you come to Sapa
Me and my partner went on a private tour with Ly. We loved the tour and Ly answered all our questions about the culture and nature of SaPa which was really interesting. Unfortunately the first day was very foggy so we didn't see the views from the mountain but the trail was still great and worth doing. The valley is beautiful, full of rice fields. Would definitely recommend, thank you Ly ❤️
We had an absolutely amazing experience thanks to our guide Tzu Hang. She was so kind and her English was so good so we could ask so many questions to learn more about the local people and cultures. The trek was challenging during some steep times but Tzu always made sure we felt comfortable, offering to take breaks and never made us feel rushed. The homestay we stayed at was soo nice, we were so pleasantly surprised. This tour was also able to accommodate to us being vegan very well and all the food was very good and never made us feel sick. I can’t recommend this tour enough the views and the experience was amazing. I suggest requesting Tzu (pronounced “Chu”) as your guide because she was amazing:)
We had an amazing experience with Trekking Tour Sapa. It was very well organized and our trekking guide, Susu was very good. The homestay was excellent with good food and spacious accommodation.
Say was an amazing guide. She is a very nice person and shared fascinating insights about the local culture and tribes. Wear good shoes for the trip if the track is slippery.
We booked a private two days trek for two people. Our guide was amazing, the agency helped us choose the best trek according to the meteo. Everything was perfect, the trekking, the homestay, and the people we met.
We had a great time in Sapa. May was a really kind and helpful guide with very good english and great knowledge about Sapa. Since she was born in Sapa and has lived there her whole life, she could give us authentic insights into the life of the different people living in Sapa, the ways of everyday living, the food and the traditions. The trekking through the bamboo forest, rice fields and Lao Cai was tricky at times because of the muddy Trails - we were thankful that May guided us confidently. We were glad to have brought good shoes and warm clothes. We Made great memories and would book this tour again!
I trekked solo with guide Tom for 2 days, it was wonderful experience felt like a family and she took care of me like a mother. Loved it.
We did the 2 day 1 night tour with homestay, and it was one of the best things we’ve done in Vietnam so far. Both days have quite a bit of elevation gain, but our guide, So, was great at setting a pace which was comfortable for the whole group. Would definitely recommend, just don’t pack too much in your bag!
Our tour guide Tung is amazing! Had such a great time in Sapa! The homestay was also clean and decent! LOVE IY! Would 100% recommend~
Amazing!!! Our guide Sang was incredible - she was so enthusiastic and offered so much interesting information about the area, culture and her life. Homestay was lovely - private room, WiFi, hot shower. Ate a delicious dinner with our host. Breakfast was also yummy pancakes and fruit. Couldn’t recommend Sang and the company enough
nice trek, super guide thung, also giving us the option of the easy way or the hard way. fast communication through whatsapp, worte them 7:00 in the morning if we could mive our trek up to the same day, no problem at all, 2 hours later we were on our way
Great two day trekking trip with our lovely guide Zhu. She took us through paths we would have never found on our own. At the homestay we were spoiled with good food. Highly recommended!
What an incredible experience! We had such a great guide - Pang - who was friendly, knowledgable and fun. I would highly recommend this experience to absolutely everyone I know who will be visiting Sapa. The homestay was lovely. The food was great and everyone was very welcoming.
The trek was amazing. Pang was our guide and she was excellent. The whole was throughout the trip she was telling us about Vietnamese culture and letting us try local snacks. She gave us options along the route the see different places or to make it more challenging. We had such a great time. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to go trekking in Sapa. The homestay was in a great location along the river. It was very comfortable and the host was very nice, sharing the local rice wine with us. 10/10 from us.
Chu, my guide was great! During the 2 day hike she told me lots about the plants and fruits we encountered. But also about here culture and living there. The views were also incredible and the trek was very well organized. The homestay was clean and beautiful. Food was also provided and tasted great. The office people are also really nice. I could shower when I arrived from the night train before the trek and also after de trek again at their office in Sapa. (The photo’s I added might look from the internet but I took them myself and are without editing it just that beautiful) Overall, I would totally recommend it!
We had the best experience with Trekking Tour Sapa! Our tour guide Sang was amazing. She told us all about the local cultures, histories and practices. She adjusted the route to suit our interests and she showed us some breathtaking views 😍 The homestay was also lovely. The people were so friendly and the dinner was delicious! The room we were given had great views and was very clean and comfortable. The 2 day 1 night tour was the best thing we have done so far in Vietnam! We would %100 book with Trekking Tour Sapa again the future!
Highly recommend this tour! It was a highlight of our travels. Sang, our guide was very kind and made us feel very welcome. The private tour made it a very intimate experience.
I really enjoyed being guided by So during these two days. He knows perfectly the paths to take to have the best view and to be alone, far from tourists. The scenery was breathtaking and the hospitality of the family host was so great. I recommend this tour and my guide So!!
Mê' was our guide. It has been a wonderful experience doing the tour with her, she has taught us a lot about her culture, rice fields, nature in Sapa, the villages, different tribes. It has been a success to do the tour with her because otherwise I would not have seen so many places for myself or known so many details. On the other hand, his attitude is very nice and kind with a very good level of English. Thank you for such a nice experience.
2D1N tour is an incredible experience Our local guide Mê' explained to us many things about their culture during the trekking: how they cultivate and do their clothes, differences between tribes, plants and fruits with the uses they have... We slept in a homestay of local tribe people, the food and room were incredible and we got to have dinner together and talk more about their culture. We were able to do a mixed trekking where we walked through the mountains, visiting different villages, and rice terraces (amazing) I highly recommend the experience of being able to enjoy the nature of Sapa, learn about the local culture of the tribes and spend time with local people
We went on a 2 day 1 night trek with Tung from Trekking Tour Sapa and it was an amazing experience! She customised the route to suit us, taking us up mountains and through rice fields, bamboo forests and local villages. She gave us great insights into Sa Pa and the surrounding villages and made it an unforgettable experience. We also stayed in a lovely homestay with delicious dinner and breakfast. We would highly recommend this trek!
The views were amazing, and the tour guide aswell. Her name was Sańg, and spoke English fluently. She teached us a lot about the culture and nature we walked passed.
It was such a great trip. My tour guide Sang was very talkative and lovely and made the whole experience that much better!
My girlfriend and I had an amazing time trekking in Sapa. Over the two days we walked through the countryside and villages, seeing lots of nature and farming. In the evening we stayed at a homestay and shared a lovely family meal. Ly was a fantastic guide, she taught us so much about Hmong culture, village life and was so friendly and warm. Thank you so much!
Had a wonderful time with Ly as our tour guide. She was wonderful and very informative. It was a shame we had so much fog by that did not impede the fun had on the hikes
Great experience with lovely guide. Stunning landscapes, relaxed pace and interesting talks with the guide Doum and my fellow trekking buddies. Very nice homestay and delicious food. I can recommend this tour with all my heart!
The tour was great, views were stunning and getting to visit the villages of the different ethnic groups was interesting. Our guide Ly was lovely and her English was good. The food at the homestay was delicious. The only downside to the trip was my husband had a snake cross his path and it was in that moment that we realised that the guide had no first aid equipment and there was no pre warning about snakes. Coming from a country where we are well aware of snakes and do lots of hiking we feel that the guides should be more educated when it comes to this and should carry the necessary equipment in case of an emergency, as well as being more informative to the trekkers about the dangers in the bush.
We had a wonderful time on our 2 days, 1 night private trekking tour with a homestay. It was very authentic, without too many tourist on the track we went on. Zhu was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She tailored our tour to our abilities and needs. We would highly recommend this tour!!
My partner and I had a wonderful time with Zhu on our two day hike through the villages and rice terraces outside of Sa Pa. The food was great at every stop, the home stay was comfortable with great WiFi and Zhu was very knowledgeable and able to provide great insights about the local culture. It was great to travel with a locallly owned company that out the profits back into the local communities, and avoided the tourist trap of Cat Cat. Being a private tour, the guide was also able to tailor the speed and length of the trip to the abilities our our party. Thoroughly remcommended!
We did the 2 days 1 night mountain view and rice fields trekking tour through the valley and we had a really great time! Our tour guide Ly was lovely and she made our experience to be even better. She spoke very good english and with her we could learn a lot about the Black Hmong culture and way of life, including even some sentences in Black Hmong language. Along the way Ly was always telling us about the different plants and trees we would find and explain what they are used for, among other very interesting facts. We stayed the night in a very nice homestay where we could enjoy a local dinner with our tour guide and other tour group. Ly taught us how to make spring rolls for dinner and we had an amazing dinner with them, where we could also try some happy water. It was the highlight of the tour for us! The trekking itself was a bit challenging in some parts but very manageable. We liked a lot going through the bamboo forest and alongside the river. It is worth for the views and for the overall experience. Would definitely recommend it and do it again!
The trek was fun! We started our decent into the valley at 930am. Our guide was Zhu and was very knowledgeable. Good conditions the first day and our entire journey was about 12km. We stopped for lunch half way. We reached our destination by 4pm. The home stay was cozy and clean, again great food and good company from other backpackers. The next day was heavy heavy rain so we took an easier option on our way home. Still beautiful landscapes just unfortunate weather and too dangerous to complete the original plans. Zhu still took us on a nice journey the second day and overall really enjoyed the trip!
Really enjoyed our 2 day trekking and homestay experience. Zhu was an excellent guide and made the best of even poor weather conditions
