Great full day trip! Wasnt sure what to expect but the views were amazing, scenic, lots of chocolate, small group but lovely people. Same guide as our city tour which was cool. As we only had 2 full days, this was perfect & different outside of the city. Its a long day but worth it!

Great day. Long drive but worth it. Stopped at a few view points. Visited waterfalls and the picturesque city as well as a chocolate factory.
Tatiana was a wonderful guide and knew so much about the area - and a very nice person. We struck hold with Paulo as our driver - he was great!
A large portion of the trip is spent traveling to the destination. The actual town is very touristy. When we left the city we were stopped by the military police for a random road side check. The tour guide nor driver explained what was occurring. The tour guide’s documents raised issues with the law enforcement. It was a frightening experience that could have been eliminated had the driver or tour guide provided more communication about what was occurring.
We had a lovely trip to Campo de Jordão high above the mountains. It was a serene hideaway above the clouds overlooking majestic mountains and valleys. The stop at a chocolate factory was lots of fun. Really enjoyed a few hours to have lunch in the picturesque town square. Lots of great restaurants and shopping options. Our guide Maurício and driver Moises made the trip very enjoyable. If you are in São Paulo for a few days the trip provides a nice contrast to the big city experience. I highly recommend it.
Boring trip, basically got nothing to do in this town, except to relax. But there’s no national park/good nature spot, and the town is overpriced. Won’t recommend anyone to go.
This tour was very beautiful as we could see very beautiful mountains, the chocolate factory as well as swiss and british houses on the mountains. The swiss village was also exceptional and beautiful for visit - and had many houses and restaurants.
Excellent experience! Our guide Mauricio was extremely knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area, took great pictures and added humour to the conversation. The scenery is beautiful and we had a fun time
Far but definitely worth the trip !!! Mauricio was our guide. Knowledgeable and fun. Considerate with our group , made us bond from the begining.
Booking cancelled & refunded last minute! Meeting time 8am, waited untill 830am. No response from operator through messages. Did not answer call twice. Desperately contacted operater for since the night before, took a taxi down to meeting place, was early. Payment went through, booking was confirmed. When I managed to reach operator, Everyone as panicky and thought it was. Scam. Operator had No apology and said TripAdvisor did not inform them. It’s not their fault, the bus has left half an hour before meeting time in itinerary and there is no time to pick us up.
I have been to Brazil on business many times over the years, but not as a vacation. This time I stayed with a friend in Sao Paulo and travelled to Campos do Jordao, it was a great visit; I'm very used to traveling in Switzerland and this little village although very commercial by Swiss standards, is well worth a visit. It’s a very good take on a typical Bavarian/ Swiss style village. It has excellent, if a little expensive restaurants, some great beers and a friendly bunch of locals and visitors. As it was mid-May, the local “Paulistas” were wearing their winter clothes, but as a NJ dweller it was shorts and a short sleeve shirt for me! Dinner service starts early in the main street and continues late, almost every restaurant had live music (some too loud) and “barkers” to entice you in. Don’t miss a trip to the “mountains”, OK, not as high as in Switzerland, but still a lovely view if not cloudy. There is also a “cable car” that will let you have a great view of the town itself. We missed a visit to the new nearby historical museum since it doesn’t open until October, the articles suggest it will be worth the visit. We ate in several places all were enjoyable, one was exceptional with a but … We liked the look of El Fogon -165, however when we arrived, we were the only customers! It’s not the main season yet and the location is just away from the main drag. Our steak with fries and mushroom Risotto was superb, just remember many portions in Brazil are large and often a half portion is enough fto share between two. My friend selected Villa Amista as our hotel, it’s a modern hotel just around the corner from the many Swiss style buildings and has great facilities especially the included breakfast – highly recommended. You can find many pictures of the buildings online, so I will not repeat them – but this town map be of some use. The tram was not running when I was there. So don’t just think about it, include Campos do Jordao and surrounding area in your visit.
There were a lot of great stops which were very interesting. The Tour Guide was very funny and we had a lot of good laughs throughout the tour. He was very well informed and was able to answer all our questions.
I wanted to love this tour so much. Our tour guide was very nice and the driver was great but the whole things was rather underwhelming. We drove about 3 hours taking a 30 minute restroom break 2.5 hours in at a place you had to spend $5 to use their bathroom. Then we met out tour guide, we stopped get out of the van to take pictures. Went to the governors mansion which we were not able to go in because they were at capacity for the day which apparently happens often so looked at the outside then left. Next stop was an overlook where we stopped to take pictures. The waterfall was pretty cool, we spent 30 minutes there We stopped at a chocolate shop that frankly was the worst chocolate that I had in Brazil so I do think the tour company or guides get a kickback from that, it was not the tasting menu the booking made it seem, you get one chocolate chip. Finally ending going into the town with lots of shops and restaurants. The tour guide was not present for that, she said her goodbyes and instead we had 3 hours of free time and met the driver back for the drive home. It was raining so it was unfortunate there was nothing we could do during our free time as lots was closed and shut down because the weather. The shops and restaurants were cool but unfortunately all sold the similar tourist products so it was a once you’ve seen a few you saw them all. Another girl in our group was trying to book a taxi to drive her the 3 hours back she was so bored. I wanted to love this tour so much and it looks so amazing and the town was beautiful but the booking description wayyyyy hyped it up. I was blessed to go and appreciate the knowledge and work everyone put in it was just lacking and in my opinion not worth the 6 hour (7 after picking everyone up and dropping them off at their hotels) drive from São Paulo. Sorry for the negative review.
It was fantastic trip. Worth it. Tour guide Mauricio was very kind and wonderful. Strongly recommend it. This trip is one of best trip in Sao Paulo
Mauricio is a great tour guide, his enthusiasm is contagious. Very knowledgeable about the area with great stories. We loved Campos do Jordao
Excellent view for photos and more definately recommend this tour the tour guy is born in the place he knows a lot about the history
Loved our tour guide Mauricio! The ride was great and we were with a great group of people as well which made it delightful.
Mauricio was an excellent tour guide. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend. He had great knowledge of the area and the history.
We loved learning more about Campos do Jordao and admiring the architecture in the city. Campos also has excellent food options and we loved the trip to the chocolate factory. Our guide, Mauricio, was very engaging and knowledgeable.
This tour is worth it but I must say, it’s a long drive. It was fun and we enjoyed the beautiful day there. Our guide and driver were top notch and did a great job. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the fact that communication was lacking and we did not hear from anyone until late the evening before. We also requested a pick up from where we are staying but we were instructed to go to a different location.
The tour guide was great. He took special effort to explain all the sights in English. The group was small hence the experience was very positive. The history of the Governor’s museum was good.
Tour guide has showed all best spots and I really liked it. He was helpful and kind. I appreciate this tour Katrin Ritter
Was a great tour to get out of the city to enjoy the drive and then all the sights and little town. Mauricio is an excellent tour guide.
Was recommended this tour in replacement to the winery tour due to Mothers' Day crowd. It was a nice alternative. It was a long trip but all was good. Our guide, Mauricio, was very knowledgeable and patient. He made this long day past by quickly and filled the trip with interesting stops.
We had outstanding service from Vida e Energia and our tour guide Mauricio G and driver Paulo. Due to our original tour being scheduled on Easter Sunday, they had to rescheduled to the day of our arrival so they met us at the airport and took care of our luggage. Maurcio (from office was also very good communicating with us back in the US all the way until Mauricio picked us up at airport). Mauricio G did an amazing job on tour, juggling Spanish and English explanations. He was very flexible and attentive to all the guests. Paulo always made sure the comfortable van was near and that we were safe when walking. Mauricio provided very good explanations and even did followup communications for additional suggestions for our stay in Sau Paulo and Argentina. The value of the trip was very good considering such a long day and lots of driving Both Mauricio and Paulo worked very hard from moment they picked us up at airport until they dropped us off to our AirBnb. Highly recommend.
The tour was nice. The city is beautiful and we were given enough time to enjoy the place and take photos. The only complaint is the transportation. We are a group of 7. They sent a mini van with two tiny seats in the third row with only confined leg room. I am only 5 feet 8. I have to bend my knees sitting for the entire 6 hours on the road. The seat in front of me was so close to the floor and space between second and third rows are so confined. I had no room to stretch my legs. My knees were up against the back in front so I can only maintain one position at all time. I hope they will fix the issue - to send a bigger van, or rotate sitting plan at each each rest stop.
Tour was great, beautiful Campos do Jordão did not disappoint! Maurício was a great tour guide and his English-Spanish-Portuguese languages skills were perfect!
A well organised day trip from Sao Paulo, multi lingual guide who had a wonderful personality with a great knowledge of the area. It was a wonderful day to be in the cooler climate of Campos do Jordão, I will definitely be back to explore the area further. A highly recommended day trip.
Mauricio (guide) and Paulo our driver took great care of me on this tour. I highly recommend it! Brazil and Campos do Jordão are so beautiful. It was an amazing day. And definitely get fondue for lunch! 💯
We enjoyed visiting Campos do Jordao. It takes approx 3hrs to get to from Sao Paulo but once you get there it feels like you have left Brazil due to the different architecture. On this tour you stop at a number of different points including a tour of the Governor's holiday house (tour is only in Portuguese though). The tour allows ample time for lunch, shopping and other activities if you wish. The trout for lunch is a must and a sample of the numerous chocolate stores on offer is another must.
All the best, especially the service of the guides
I loved the city and even bought property.
It's always good to go to Campos do Jordão. Pleasant place and exuberant nature.
Wonderful place, just amazing for relcahr and rest differentiated gastronomy, great place for vacation
Great experience! Wonderful guide and super responsible driver. Wonderful route, charming place. Ready for more experiences.
This excursion is perfect if you want to do something different in São Paulo, Mauritius is an excellent guide, fun and culturally savvy speaking. The landscape of Campo de Jodāo is beautiful, the architecture beautiful, it feels like it is Europe. We loved everything!
The whole day walk was very pleasant. The van arrived at the agreed time at the hotel, the time in passage in each place, was enough to appreciate them and take photos. The Mauritius guide was very helpful.
It was my fourth time in Campos do Jordão, it remains beautiful, elegant people, very chic restaurants, but I found the values of shops and restaurants a little out of reality.
I live in Belo Horizonte and left. It is a wonderful city and I intend to return in December for Christmas Light. Jordan Fields exceeded my expectations.
The city is well structured, good attractions and a very favorable tourist environment. Many options of good hotels and tours.
El guia es increíble! La pu tua lidado y atitude lo fueron todo. Cumplió y superò las expectativas por mucho
The landscapes and history were incredible. Our guide Mauricio was always very attentive, maintained excellent communication, very friendly and kept the trip fun. The journey was a little long, but very comfortable. If you ask me if it's worth it, I would say yes. All the stops were exquisite, and the food was very good.
With many gastronomic options the city is very cozy and being a customer with low temperatures is great for walking and shopping.
Tour A1. He touched me with Mauricio as a guide, and was super friendly and attentive and very patient to explain and take pictures. They were punctual in the collection and other than that, the beautiful landscapes made the tour an unforgettable experience. I recommend you go to the cable car and enjoy the beautiful view. I plan to go back again and this time with my family. Very grateful to the agency that behaved up to it.
I did some tours that are part of the "tourist package" being that, the unstable weather did not help much. However - I had a great pleasure in knowing 2 wonderful places - the CASA DE XILOGRAVURA near the Church of Health (where the city of Campos do Jordão began) and the 2nd walk that I was amazed - was the BOSQUE DO SILÊNCIO - where we have contact with a native forest with various options of activities, a tour of small trails where we have contact with small wild animals and native birds. Also has a restaurant from Baden Baden for visitors who are visiting the place. I recommend the two tours that are "out of the curve" however, both are within the urban perimeter of the city, and that normally are not part of the conventional tourist tours.
Very nice the experience we shared with Mauricio and Paolo. They provided a lot of information about Campos do Jordao in addition to other interesting data.
Nice place and very beautiful, the house is all decorated and has an amazing shop, highly recommend the visit
Walking around and seeing places with Life and Energy Tourism is too good. And if it's in the company of the guide Maurizio gets even better. Super indico. Regiane organizes everything with great delicacy and care with the customer. Thanks for the wonderful day 😉
The tour was great. We went to meet the beautiful town of Campos do Jordão with Mauritius and Regiane, people of character and very attentive. Explaining us stories of the main locations. It was a great experience. Super recommend
