Private Street Art Tour Of São Paulo With Batman´s Alley Visit

We had a 9 hours connection time in GRU and asked AROUNDSP to organise for my family a hours private tour in SP. All was perfect. Guide waited for us at our arrival (we had 2 hours delay). The bus (AC, clean, new) was waiting just outside. Our guide Joice and the driver Sergio were both amazing. Professional, funny, lots of stories... nothing more was needed to make transform this flight connection into new memories for our kids. A special note to the organiser Luis who organised all this during Xmas - New Year. A great team!

What a fantastic way to spend the day! My sister and I absolutely loved the tour with Luis. He has an insider’s perspective on São Paulo’s artistic community and knows many of the artists responsible for the city’s unique and vibrant soul. We even got to meet a couple of them face to face! Luis is clearly passionate, knows the city like the back of his hand, and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and appreciated. If I am ever lucky enough to come back, I would intentionally seek him out as a guide again. His recommendation for dining was one of the best meals of our trip and he gave us a lot of insight into the bohemian vibe downtown. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone seeking a São Paulo adventure of their own!

I loved this tour! Luis was a terrific guide, knowledgeable and warm and personal. And he’s passionate about the vibrant art that adds such life to the city, from the sides of giant buildings to garage doors in alleys. I had a terrific time and highly recommend it. I had really only known São Paulo from my balcony above the giant city. The tour brought it all down to the personal and the street level and I can’t remember how many welcoming people I met during the tour. It was a blast.

Great walking experience on Batman's alley. There are a few murals that are interactive if you download an app and hover the camera on your smartphone over the image and they come to life.

I do not have story to share because the guide did not show up. When I contacted the tour operator, it was realised that they have put me on a wrong date and they could not rearrange “in short notice”🤬

The guide, Luiz Henrique was amazing, very polite, kind and very friendly. He took the time to explain everything to us. The experience would have not been as good if it were with somebody else. It was a great experience! We did a very long tour in São Paulo (in a car and by walking).

I am a huge street art fan. But as anyone who ever hunted for truly street art gems, it is hard for outsiders, to say nothing about first-time visitors. Street art appreciation is more like a hunt with various challenges and obstacles. However, my guide from Around SP really went above and beyond to expose me to the best gems around San Paolo, which I could have never seen by myself, even after weeks in the city. He told me stories behind the pieces which made me appreciate the pieces even more. And of course, the private experience of commuting in a car between various parts of the city allowed us to explore the art in multiple locations. To say that I “recommend” AroundSP would be an understatement - this is probably THE way to experience street art for anyone who really wants to experience first hand the open-air masterpieces of street communities of Sao Paolo.

One of the best (if not the best!) street art tour I’ve ever done! I highly highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Renato, was extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and passionate. I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I make an exception for this tour as it was one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. My Art Tour with Luiz was simply amazing from the beginning to end. He was knowledgeable, funny, flexible and supportive. I learned so much about São Paulo, it’s street artists and the history of the main artwork we visited. What an incredible site, the Batman Alley. Full of color, artisans, and gorgeous artwork. Not only I got to see and learn about the art, thanks to Luiz I was able to meet some of the artists themselves! This tour was a highlight of my visit to São Paulo. Ask for Luiz—Highly recommended!!

Excellent tour which gives the opportunity to discover Sao Paulo and learn about its history through the very interesting prism of Street Art. Wonderful and impressive graffitis all along the visit,a very Nice atmosphere in the bohemian district of Villa Madalena and the super guide Doris made my trip to Sao Paulo quite memorable. Excellent, Amazing, A Feast for the Eyes. We were picked up by Renato at the Santos Port and spent the day in Sao Paulo visiting every zone of the city viewing street art along the way. He was an excellent driver and guide. We stopped at multiple places including of course Batman Alley. But even better was walking around a few neighborhoods, driving under the passes where street art adorned columns and on the elevated to view buildings. Renato shared knowledge about the artists, the struggle and acceptance of street art. Even better we were able to meet a view of the street artists whose work we admired. I totally recommend booking this tour. It was a highlight. PS...Renato is a great driver too!

Guide Luis was very knowledgeable and took us to some interesting places to view the street art including the famous Batman Alley. Luis takes you to three/four different places in Sao Paulo to view the street art and you are able to capture some really beautiful, interesting photos. It's a must for those that enjoy seeing beautiful colourful works of art.

Renato was prompt to our hotel, very knowledgeable, friendly, adaptable, and helpful. We had an amazing tour of urban art from him, as he navigates the roads of SP -- a miracle. We not only saw amazing street art, we learned about the cultural context of the art, and about the artists. He introduced us to two artists he just happens to know and we got an remarkable translated interview -- plus we saw artists in the act of painting. So cool! And we learned about history and modern events, then had lunch in a modern market. Excellent! Thank you so much.

Our tour was with Renato Goes, who is fantastic! He is from Sao Paulo and knows the city extremely well. He's friendly, outgoing and was ready to enthusiastically answer all our questions about not only street art but also life in Sao Paulo and in Brazil. The hours with Luis not only gave us a glimps of some of the best street art I've seen but also a knowledgeable insite in to the lives and areas of Sao Paulo. We were picked up at our hotel and drove around for a 3,5 hours. Stopping and getting out of the car in different places. Thank you for a lovely Saturday morning.

All I have to say is the Luiz Henrique was awesome, the tour with him was like walking around with an old friend you haven't seen in years. :) He was very knowledgeable about the culture and the locations. I did the 3 hour private tour because I had a long layover in Sao Paulo and I am so happy I did it. I loved it! I highly highly recommend it, Sao Paulo is massive and having someone who knows the city is very helpful. A+++

Our private guide for this trip was Luiz Henrique. We booked for my son's 13th birthday - my husband and I and our 2 sons age 10 and 13. Luiz picked us up from our apartment on time and in his own car. The car had Air-con and was clean. Luiz was a fantastic guide, having grown up in Sao Paulo he had a great knowledge of the street art around the city and of the artists themselves. He was kind, thoughtful and answered all our questions fully. His English was excellent. I would really recommend this tour but you need to allow more than 3 hours. Luiz would have been happy to keep us with him and show us more but we had a lunch reservation so had to stop after 3.5 hours. Communication and booking was also very easy and fast. Around SP was Really great!

<p>Sao Paulo street art is phenomenal, a must see. And it's a great way to learn more about local culture and see the city at large. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun to spend a couple of hours with. The pace was tailored to my preference. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.</p>

This was a great tour spent with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. He clearly was passionate about street art and knew a great deal about the history of the various artists. He was also able tell us a lot about how the art form had evolved over time. This tour also gives you to opportunity to see many different neighborhoods in Brazil and really get an understanding that Brazil is a true melting pot!

<p>I enjoyed the tour very much. Luiz was an excellent guide and driver. He knew the city, art locations and artists. We did not get to see as much as was scheduled, because of city traffic. That kept me from rating this tour at five stars. There was an extra charge to be picked up near the airport.</p>

I have done many street art tours around the world and this tour guided by Doris left nothing to be desired. She has a lot of knowledge about the city of SP and street art. It's worth it!
