It was a nice trip, taking in the city's main attractions. The guide is kind and helpful and speaks an excellent English. He's not pushy and allow you to take your time, without any stress or pressure to buy souvenirs. Definitely recommended!

Mo was a great guide. Saw some beautiful areas of Sāo Paulo. Definitely a must for English only speakers.
The tour was amazing! Roberto was a great tour guide and talked about all of the items on the itinerary. He was very informative and was able to answer all of my questions Saw a lot of sites in a short amount of time. If you have a short timeframe / window - this would be a perfect tour. Definitely recommended!
Roberto was amazing!!! He shared so much history and knowledge about São Paulo. I loved Batman Alley (for my son who loves Batman) and how it all began. Then the gorgeous church and the cathedral… I appreciated his respect for God’s house and those present who were praying. He was personable, professional, answered our abundance of questions and just a joy. Oh …. And his suggestion on eating at Mane and what to get — off the chart delicious!!! We wouldn’t take ‘no’ from him and treated him to dine with us. He knows EVERYONE it seems and I love that!! Thank you, Roberto, for the best day we had yet while here in São Paulo!!
Staying in the area of the airport limits the trips available. We could only find this one to pick up from hotel Domani. The operator Ibrahim was excellent. A good English speaker and very knowledgeable. The half day trip finally finished after 6.5 hours. Thus allowed for the volume of traffic. A really worthwhile private tour.
Fantastic overview of the city with several stops for sightseeing and food. Knowledgeable local guide made the entire event an adventure.
Lucas arrived very early as he was anticipating the heavy traffic since he knew that we had to return early to the hotel. He was very engaging! He brought as to the most Instagammable area in São Paolo where we took a lot of pictures. He made sure to protect us from anyone who may have bad intentions with us as we went downtown. He shared a lot of stories about all the areas where he took us and he even gave us back stories about Brazil! We regret that we didn't have more time to go around! He also gives a night life tour which we would definitely avail of the next time that we are in Brazil. We highly recommend this tour and getting Lucas as your tour guide because he is highly knowledgeable about Brazil, he knows his way around very well, and he will be able to protect you against any untoward incident.
I booked last minute so was told that the tour would begin at 12:30, not 9:30 as advertised. Roberto didn't show up until 1:00, blaming traffic (as if traffic isn't always heavy in Sao Paulo). I offered to show him the online voucher from Viatour, but he said it wasn't necessary. First we went to Batman Alley, which is the location advertised on Viatour. I wanted to stay longer but after a quick walk around he said we had to leave to see other things. Next we headed toward Ibirapuera Park but having just come from the Pantanal and Chapada dos Guimarães, I wasn't very interested in an urban park, so we skipped it. We went to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Our Lady Assumption and Saint Paul, and the Municipal Market, then Roberto said that the tour was over. Since the tour is advertised as 5 hours and we'd only been out for 3 hours, I was surprised. Roberto claimed that the shortened time was because we didn't go to the park. He made the ridiculous claim that it was the biggest park in the world and would have accounted for all the remaining time. I wasn't satisfied and asked to go back to see more of the graffiti in Batman Alley but he said that was impossible. I was very dissatisfied with Roberto, the guide. He spent most of the time on his phone, even when he was driving. Then, as we returned to the hotel, he said that he needed to see the voucher, which he'd declined earlier.
We spent a few great hours with Lucas! He was very friendly all the way and we had a fun chat. He showed me a lot of hidden stuff, how to get good food, where to look for good paintings, buildings... We knew each other well also and shared stories about countries and life. It was really like going out with a good friend. We went to the big church, then around the park, then to the famous mural place (Batman!)... Time spent well and fast (for me). I just recommend Lucas, who anyways helped me to deal with the hotel laundry machine was more just for locals. Diverse service he gave, as we would say. :) Downside: the Company might make more clear that the shared tour is not really with transit to the tour main area. For a non local it is not obvious. So I became somehow forced into the private, which was anyways, of course, good. They made good for me anyways. And of course I was the one who overlooked this info first, but still... A 'no transfer' text there would be good. Nobody is interested in the info that between the places they use a 'vehicle' also which anyways was probably not the one we were inside. That is just misleading there that 'vehicle' in the list as it is now by the Viator and TA text. Everything about transportation. But overall no complain about the bigger price, just because of Lucas. He really tried all efforts to make a good service, and for example his English and cultural intelligence is far better than a lot of other people's in Brazil.
The graffiti area was Amazing ! Set. Huh. Bubble. Bhhh. Bout. Bgffuui. Huston. Hygffghjigfhjjgghjnhggfrf
Our tour guide was nice and friendly, but quite most of the time. Improvement on being more informative while driving through the city between destinations would help.
Roberto was on time, flexible, knowledge. We had a fabulous time and learned a lot on this lovely day in São Paulo.
The tour guide arrived 2 hoursate due to car problems but used his own vehicle to make sure the trip happened which was appreciated and the communication was good. He was polite, we saw some excellent highlights within the city. He joined us for lunch. It didn't blow me away but the city is so huge you must explore with a guide otherwise you won't make the most of it.
The tour is very relaxed but covers a lot of sites. Very well worth while. Loved Batman Alley. Our guide was easy going and fun. He seemed to know people all over the city.
Our tour was canceled just 20 minutes before it was scheduled to start. We had been in contact with the driver regarding the pickup point at the airport, he asked some questions but in the end, the tour got canceled. It seemed as though he had no intention of conducting the tour. We had to figure out what to do on our own. Highly disappointing and not recommended
This was an amazing way to spend my layover! It felt like I met up with a friend rather than doing a "tour". I would highly recommend this tour. I would do it again if I ever have a layover again.
Roberto was knowledgeable about the city and excellent at navigating traffic and giving us recommendations on things to do.
Private tour is worth it as I got to see Sao Paulo main attractions in a few hours, I would recommend.
It’s a quick overview of the city in a few hours. It’s good to do before the start of your trip. Tour guide was helpful and his English was good
Would prefer canceling the night before so I can book another tour not an hour before pick up. Too late to book another tour.
First, we would like to say, that the best part of the trip was Roberto. He made us feel so safe and truly showed us the most of the city in the time of the tour. He was very knowledgeable and very good at translating for us. He was also very punctual and respectful of the time we needed to get back for other things as well. We felt that he truly customized the experience for our group and we would 100% book again and recommended.
Communication was unacceptable and it ruined the experience. The guide was fine and helpful but that fact took a back seat to the communication with this tour company. The tour company changed our group start time the night before at 8 PM. Or at least that is what they said they did.... I never received the communication. The 5 hour tour was pushed back 2 hours without us being aware of it. We struggled to communicate with the tour company and ended up basically waiting for 2 hours before we started our tour. Our tour guide was 30 minutes late even from the delayed start time so by the time we started our tour, we were expecting to already be half done. This is the only bad experience we have truly had with Trip Advisor.
Great way to get a feel for the city in a few hours. Roberto our guide was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. It gave us a good taste and insight into what São Paulo is all about
It was good to have a guided tour of the city and I appreciated being picked up and dropped off at airport. It was advertised as a private tour but we picked up another solo traveler. The guide was nice but didn’t offer alot of information about the city besides a few short bits of info at each of the stops. It may have been because the other traveler didn’t understand English very much. Overall it was a decent value for the money but could have been better.
Driver was suppose to pick up at 9 am for extra 120 us but never show up waited until 1045 am and has to do a tour on my own with a taxi don’t remember this tour to anyone very disappointed
Roberto is an excellent tour guide, always attentive to answer all of your questions. It’s a great alternative to know São Paulo, if you stayed just for one day.
This review is NOT about the tour (since it did not happen due to the guide cancelling on me 5 min before he was scheduled to pick me up) but rather the bad communication. Took 2 days for the company to respond to my initial request to confirm time and pick up location, was then told guide would be reaching out to me directly… problem was the message the guide sent me said “hello”… that’s it, nothing else, and WhatsApp tucked it away under spam (which half the time those kind of messages are), so I did not see it. Tried reaching out to the tour company again and by the time they got back to me I found the message in the spam folder and was able to arrange the pick up with the guide…. Only to have him cancel on me 5 min before he was scheduled to pick me up. He said he got into a car accident (I can maybe believe that) but then he tried to get me to reschedule the tour the following day and just “pay him directly”. Since it was my last day in São Paulo, I was able to get a full refund and ended up doing a self guided tour instead.
I was new to the city of São Paulo. Great experience. Tour guide was friendly and informative. Loved it
The tour guide was the only thing memorable he was a nice man. But the tour offered by Viator for the price paid is horrible. I am letting other tourists know not to waste your money!
Our guide Roberto was very nice and very knowledgeable of his city. We got to see a lot, but without being rushed. I highly recommend this tour :)
The half day tour was handled by our extremely talented guide Roberto, who is a nature lover and very knowledgeable guy, he made sure that all our questions about the city are answered promptly and correctly, he took us around the city like a friend, shown us more than what was committed on the website of Viator, he even helped me find best malls for our shopping and also helped us know the sites where the block parties were happening, we would give him more than 5 stars if possible, Best of luck my friend!
Terrible. Tour guide did not show up. Contact information did not work. After 1-hour I gave up. Your did not happen. Refund requested.
Very flexible to pick me up in a different your because i had a delaye of my flight. The tour and the guide was Very nice.
Perfect private experience with three of us and a delightful driver/guide. Saw all the highlights of Sao Paolo in six hours. Perfect prelude for our later activities.
I had horrible experience with the company. They supposed to pick me up in the airport and they didn’t. I was waiting for 90 minutes. The phone number they provided wasn’t working when I called, person from airport called and Viator customer service called. Extremely irresponsible service which should not be on TripAdvisor. I use TripAdvisor over 10 years and it’s first time that tour guide didn’t show up and didn’t communicated anything. I sent 2 texts to customer service with no response. Please do yourself a favor and don’t signup with this company. I was looking for their website on google and did not find any. Why TripAdvisor deals with fraudulent companies is unclear. Just wanted to let you know that I don’t respect poor service and disrespect for the customers who paid you in advance and scheduled private trip and didn’t received any service.
I was charged too much for this tour! Found out that People that did the same tour paid $125.00 and I paid $200.00 and it was a private tour with a car. I was ripped off our should I say charged to much. Why did you charge me $200.00 and its suppose to be 125.00 for a Private tour. You shouldnt take advantage of people. Also I missed alot of sights that my tour guide did not take me too. this tour was only 3 or 4 hours. and it said on the advertisement that it was going to be about 5 to 6 hours. I missed alot of places that I wanted to see. I was not happy with this whole experience . I will not use you again and refer anyone to this site. Paid $200 and it was $125.00 Private tour and car thats a big difference. II was ripped off.
I'd like to say that Roberto, my tour guide, was excellent in every way! He knew so much about all the places we visited and was happy to change his plans to meet ours when needed. I would recommend him without doubt to anyone visiting Sao Paulo.
Buyer beware. I booked this excursion 5 hours before flight was cancelled and I could not make it to the destination. No understanding by Viator or the local operator. No refund and no credit.
Roberto is an excellent guide. I had a 14 hour layover in Sao Paulo and this was an excellent way to be sure to see a good deal of the city without having to worry about safety or language concerns. Well worth the money!
Visit to the market was a highlight as it offered the chance to try genuine local food and drink. great fun
Roberto was fantastic guide, he knows all the best spots for pictures and is super helpful with everything, I highly recommend him..
Roberto was really knowledgeable about the city. He was patient with us through the tour and allowed us to spend time in places without hurrying us. He was kind and considerate on special requests that came from the group. Comfortable drive. Very safe and convenient trip. Must try.
Although it was raining much of the time, the tour was meaningful and fulfilling. Our guide was fantastic!
Roberto was very attentive and communicative. We had no problems meeting up and going on the tour. He met us at the airport and it was smooth sailing from there. The only disappointing part was that we got in later than expected and missed going to the central market. However he took us to many great locations and we had lovely food. He was always very patient and helpful. I wish we could’ve learned a little bit more history and fun facts about Sao Paulo but overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
Roberto, our guide, spoke great English and made the tour priceless with his commentary and stories. We were allowed to customize the experience by deciding what we all wanted to see. Overall, a great tour of the city. Highly recommend!!!
A really wonderful way to get to know Sao Paulo on a quick trip. Our guide, Roberto, was awesome and the sites visited were interesting. Highly recommend!
The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, he made sure we made it to all of the destinations despite the heavy traffic in the city causing q few delays.
Guide was Roberto. Very accommodating, interring and insightful day. Loved seeing the city through a locals view.
Enjoyed the market! I would’ve liked to spend more time in the Japanese section, water bottles on the tour would’ve been nice.
Great adventure. Carlos my tour guide was excellent. The Jardins district and the bat man alley with its graffiti was amazing
