Neto is very patient and kind. He is also very knowledgeable about the city, its history. It is almost organic to talk about any topic with him. Very easygoing and gentle. He made the day tour an entertained one. SP counts with such a great ambassador for foreigners. If you book this tour, please ask Neto as your guide. Five stars.

Doris was an amazing guide, she is so knowledgeable about all things São Paulo. She was punctual and also flexible with the tour to bypass traffic, or tailor it to what I was interested in, spending more time in local areas. She is also a foodie and gave great dinner suggestions. I’ve already recommended her to others!
Doris was a fantastic tour guide that was very knowledgeable and fun to be with!
We originally booked a 4-hr tour, but our tour guide Neto was so informative that we extended another hour. It was a very thorough tour and allowed us to see the highlights of the City and learn the City’s history in 5 hours during our 4-day stay. Highly recommend this private tour!!!
We spent 2 half days with Ilan Weingeld. He speaks fluently Hebrew and English. This was unbelievably amazing! Ilan is such a nice man! Ilan is an encyclopaedia of Sai Paulo! Ilan is giving and giving!
Great tour of São Paulo! We had a great time with Neto! He’s super knowledgeable, changes the tour according to your interests, and is downright hilarious!! Thanks again for a wonderful tour!
I had an amazing time with Neto learning about São Paulo and seeing all the amazing locations. It was raining and cloudy the day we had the tour but that did not stop us. He was answering all my questions as much as he knew. We went to the market and I was able to buy souvenirs and we had a meal together at a local restaurant. In the end it felt more like a friend showing me around his city than a guide which I enjoyed! Thank you for such a great experience Neto!!
Neto is an amazing guide and the trip around the city is well worth it. To see São Paulo through the eyes of a local and one that loves his home is the best experience! It is a must do and shall I say it. Ask for Neto!!
Our guide was on time and super professional. He added an element to our tour of São Paulo that we wouldn’t have had otherwise. He was knowledgeable and had so many facts about this beautiful city that made the experience worth every dollar. He also gave us the best recommendation for lunch/early dinner that we will remember forever. Cheers, Neto
We had a wonderful private tour. Ilan was an awesome guide: knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. We enjoyed coffee shops, a chocolate shop, a walking tour, street art, museums, and much more. It was fascinating, memorable, and highly recommended.
We wish there was a higher than 5 rating for Neto and his amazing tour. From the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off we learned alot, had fun, and felt well taken care of. Neto's knowledge and enthusiasm are inspiring. We felt so welcomed that we would recommend him to anyone looking for the best guide in the city.
We had a fantastic experience. Our guide was Kali. Her knowledge of São Paulo and her enthusiasm in sharing with visitors was wonderful. She was also a joy to spend time with. We had the longer, 5 hour tour but it seemed go very quickly. If you are looking for a private tour, look no further and contact Adriane!
I highly recommend taking a tour with ILAN WEINFELD! Ilan is full of knowledge and has a genuine love for the city. We toured the wholesale market with him, enjoying tastings and fascinating explanations along the way. We saw wonderful street art and met the artists, tasted the finest coffee in Brazil, learned about the architecture of interesting buildings, the city’s history, its development, and so much more. This tour will make you fall in love with the city. Highly recommended!!
This was not my first guided tour, but definitely the most impressive one so far. It was truly a personalized experience - my private guide Mr. Neto brought this to a whole new level. As a São Paulo native, also a seasoned traveler around the world, his unique perspective and experience entirely reshaped my views on São Paulo. If your time is limited but still want to deep dive into the vibes of this wonderful city - the center of everything in South America, you’ve come to the right place with the right guide.
Very good tour. Our guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and showed us many things around the city and adapted the tour to ensure we made the most of it.
Neto was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and enjoyed his job. He knew many people on the tour and made us VIPs.
Wonderful experience with Ilan our private guide! He is friendly, very knowledgeable, very attentive and a great guide to know more about Sao Paulo and Brazil! Our time are so well spent and his explanation is so engaging and very interesting!
Exceptionally wonderful experience with Ilan! He is so friendly, give great explanation about Sao Paulo! Passionate and vibrant energy! Love him!
Ilan was a fantastic tour guide ! His English is fluent and he took us all Around São Paulo- showing us the major sites as well as off the beaten path jewels like Beco do Batman. He has tremendous insight and shared his experience with us- we highly recommend him !!!
I booked the private 5-hour tour during my Aug 2026 trip to São Paulo. My guide, Neto, picked me up directly from my hotel. He served as both guide and driver, and his VW was a comfortable, nimble car that was perfectly suited for navigating the city's busy streets. Neto was an absolutely fantastic guide—professional, highly knowledgeable, and very personable throughout the entire morning. São Paulo is a massive city, but this tour provided an incredibly well-rounded overview for a first-time visitor (covering as much ground as humanly possible in one morning!). We saw a huge variety of sights, including: - The Historical Center, Cathedral, and Opera House - Multiple neighborhoods including Jardins, the Japanese and Jewish neighborhoods, and Paulista, including Paulista Avenue - The Municipal Market - Ibirapuera Park - A fantastic panoramic view of the city from the MAC museum rooftop - Batman Alley The itinerary offered a great balance of driving to reach all these varied sights and stopping to get out and explore on foot. It’s a flexible experience, and I'm sure you could easily choose to walk more or less depending on your own preferences. After a great five hours, Neto dropped me right back off at my hotel. I highly recommend this tour and Neto to anyone visiting São Paulo! I booked the tour directly through the Personal Tours SP website by filling out their inquiry form. From the very beginning, the company was incredibly communicative via email and WhatsApp, making it very easy to plan and arrange all the details.
We had a great tour with Neto! We originally booked for 4 people but had 2 extra join us and were able to arrange all with the tour company very easily. They brought a nice van for us. We love the food market - could have stayed there all day.
We had specifically requested Neto as our guide, and had a really great time. Neto gave us a great tour of the city, proposing plenty of ideas and being able to adapt around what we are interested in. The whole process was seamless, and we got a great sense for the city. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
Had the pleasure of having Neto as our tour guide of beautiful São Paulo today. Knowledgeable, pleasant and fun - couldn't ask for more. Would highly recommend!
The best! The guide was excellent 10/10!
Amazing place to see to many foods in one place
We had an amazing experience on this tour! Our guide, Kali, was incredibly friendly, social, and made everyone feel welcome from the start. She spoke both English and Spanish fluently, which made communication easy and enjoyable for everyone in the group. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and thoroughly, sharing interesting facts and insights throughout the tour. Her passion for the area and its history really enhanced the experience. We truly appreciated his professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an informative, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Thank you for making our trip so special! Would definitely do it again!
This tour guide delivered a fantastic experience from start to finish. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and attention to detail made every moment engaging and memorable. The itinerary was well-organized, the recommendations were spot-on, and the personalized touches truly elevated the trip. It was an outstanding experience that was worth every penny.
We had 2 mistakes associated with our reservation-- first the company thought it was for the month ahead... and then on the correct day, no one showed up, though the company did work quickly to get us a good guide (after waiting...) Our guide did a good job, we visited the sites in the city that were advertised. I did feel that we were shorted a bit, as it started late, and we asked to skip one site that we had already visited. Highlights: the top floor of an art museum to see the city from on high, and the city market. Most of the tour was driving by points of interest. The slow traffic in spots didn't faze us; we're from S. CA and are used to constant traffic. Would have appreciated a few "off the beaten path" or special places to see. That said, we saw a LOT of the city, and got a tour of the primary sites and areas of the city. This allowed us to explore the city on the following day to see a few areas in more depth by walking.
Booked by recommendation and it didn't disappoint. The company have a variety of guides and mine for the day was Netovsky (Neto for short). Communication was great through WhatsApp, with introduction day before and check up to see what my expectations were. The tour was about four and a half hours, though it didn't feel like that. There was no rush and I didn't feel I missed anything either. Pick up the following morning was from the hotel, good clean car, Neto was well presented but not dressed to stand out, which became obvious why when talking. I was warned that yuo needed to be careful and more so in some areas as I would stand out being a rather tall foreigner. But, that said Neto was great and I never felt concerned for my safety despite going through places I would not have travelled alone. Neto was a font of knowledge and yet was also able to keep it feeling friendly and unscripted rather than a tour guide going through the motions. Most places we went a number of people already knew him and what he does, so it sort of makes you feel more local, which was what I wanted. The market experience was one of the highlights, bagging a couple of bargains along the way. I can not recommend Neto highly enough as a guide who has travelled and lives for his passion to travel. My only reservation was the relatively high cost because I was on my own. With two or three people this would have been perfect to share the cost but not feel like a group tour.
Great overview of São Paulo— its neighborhoods, attractions, and culture. Our guide Neto was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed his insights as a “Paulista”. Very international and cosmopolitan city with beautiful urban parks. The tour was a good mix of drive by and stops to walk around or take photos. We did the four-hour tour but would have done five if we had more time. We visited during extended layover at GRU airport. Neto met us at a convenient location in town and ended the tour on the side of the city closest to the airport. It was easy to get Uber to and from the airport hotel. We allowed 90 minutes each way given traffic but actual time was about an hour. Next time I transit through GRU I will plan to spend a few days. T
Neto was my São Paulo tour guide and he is a true Paulistano. He picked me up and we started the tour in his car. We started in the Jardins district where my hotel was. I am so glad that he drove, so that I could look at everything. He pointed out many points of interest, dining options, and shopping options. He is a very knowledgeable guide, so I learned a lot about São Paulo ‘s neighborhoods and he answered my questions. My favorite part of the tour was the Mercado Municipal/Mercadao. Neto pointed out all of the neat fruits, coffee, and other gourmet delights that were exceptional in Brazil. All of the merchants I met were so friendly and helpful. I got lots of good gifts for my family here. I had a pastel carne com queijo and a Romeo and Juliet pastel with guava and cheese. It was delicious! I bought a cherimoya there which is the best fruit I’ve ever had. It’s known as a “custard apple” and it’s the bomb! I guess I really love food because this was the most fun part of the tour. I highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting solo, with a significant other, or a small family group.
Neto was our guide. His English was excellent and his knowledge of São Paulo, where he grew up, was amazing. It was a very enjoyable four hours. We hit the highlights that we wanted to see in São Paulo. My wife and I commented to each other. It would’ve been impossible for us to see as much as we did on our own during those four hours. He had a wonderful suggestion at the end of our tour for us to have more time with him and see one additional site. Overall, a very memorable day and we are very glad we made the connection. We recommend them highly.
Ilan was very knowledgeable about the city and had an impressive insight to Sao Paolo's historical background. The tour was great, at a relaxed pace but still covered a lot. He was kind to take some great pics for me. The recommendation for a local eatery in the market was an excellent choice. Truely enjoyed my short stay in the city becuz of this guided tour with Ilan. I absolutely recommend him for a guided tour in Sao Paolo.
This was an amazing introduction to Sao Paolo. I met with Doris in the morning, she was so friendly and had tailored the day for what I requested in the booking sheet. But she was also super flexible is I said I wanted to stay somewhere longer or do something else. Now we did a bit of food tasting but she had so many suggestions that I had to do another day of just food! Everyone was so nice and it was such a great experience - would definitely recommend.
Our guide Ilan was extraordinary. He knows the city well and clearly loves it. His enthusiasm is infectious. We highly recommend this tour.
Ilan was so friendly and knew so much about history and architecture and art. It was such a blast and he did a wonderful job choosing places that were amazing and I never would have picked on my own.
Ilan Weinfield was simply amazing and was so generous, knowledgeable and ensured gave us a window into the amazing city, can’t wait to come back
Ilan was extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and made our trip much more interesting. The little bits of local lore and hangouts. We had an excellent viennese coffee at a an atmospheric cafe. Highly recommend
Private tour with an exceptionally knowledgeable tour guide. Many stops park and walk so you really experience Sao Paulo
Guide was amazing. Would highly recommend Doris
Neto was the perfect tour guide. Knew everything about the city, the history and the neighborhoods. Very flexible and easy to work with. Very highly recommend Neto and the tour. Great value!
Had a fabulous tour of São Paulo. It gave a real flavor and feel of the city. Our guide Neto provided personal insight into life in the city and introduced us to both the history and many fascinating sites. The market was a highlight, as was tasting Anthony Bourdain’s favorite mortadella! Very enjoyable experience. I came away with a very positive view of São Paulo.
Ilan was the best tour guide! I learned so much about Brazil and São Paulo from them. They made the entire experience feel so natural, engaging, and enjoyable, and their knowledge is truly incredible. Any question I had, Ilan knew the answer to! Thank you for such a memorable experience. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting São Paulo or Brazil. I’ve come away with such a deeper appreciation for the culture, history, and the city itself.
Our host was very kind, friendly, passionate and informative about the history of Brazil and São Paulo . The Tour was very interesting and saw beautiful places and tasted delicious food.
We had an amazing day with Ilan, we was such a nice genuine person with an amazing in depth knowledge and understanding of São Paulo. He went the extra mile to make sure we knew as much as possible and showed us all the different sights around the city. Myself and Vikki had the best day visiting São Paulo with Ilan.
We had the most amazing day touring around São Paulo with Ilan, he was such a nice person who went out of his way to make sure we was able to see everything São Paulo has to offer with in one day. He is an incredibly helpful and extremely knowledgeable guide who we can now call a friend.
Excellent tour in São Paulo! Our guide was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He showed us both the historic and modern parts of the city — the cathedral, downtown, Avenida Paulista, modern neighborhoods, the market, and amazing viewpoints like the contemporary art museum. Most of the tour was by car, which made it very comfortable. He also gave us great restaurant recommendations, shared interesting facts about the city and neighborhoods, and even took great photos for us. Truly the best guide in São Paulo — highly recommend!
My tour was fantastic! Our driver, Neto, was incredibly professional with excellent English, and his knowledge of São Paulo made the experience truly special. He gave me a perfect overview of the city while sharing fascinating insights into the local culture and food scene. One highlight was when he introduced me to Caqui fruit — it looks just like a tomato, but the flavor is a delicious mix of tangy and sweet. His car was spotless and very comfortable throughout. Highly recommend!
We had an awesome time on our São Paulo tour with Neto. We learned a ton about this incredible city, and since São Paulo is so huge, exploring it with someone who knows their way around made all the difference. Neto was the perfect guide. If you ever get the chance, definitely go for it.
the tour was packed with interesting info and beautiful places
