We had an excellent day with Dennis! He showed us some beautiful spots around the island and was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about its history. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. We highly recommend booking a day tour with Dennis!
Dennis was an awesome tour guide. Great personality and knowledge of the surrounding area. It was great that we booked this as private for the 2 of us which allowed Dennis to focus soley on our particular interests. I would highly recommend this tour as a private small group 2-4 people. We got to experience the best of Santorini.
Theo was our tour guide, very knowledgeable and helpful, excellent experience all around and a professional photographer! The local food/drink 10/10
We had signed up for this tour, but there was no one at the cable car exit. We waited for 15 minutes and no one showed up so we messaged the company and they then told us that the tour guide was sick and wouldn’t be coming. We were very unhappy about how this went and had to find another tour at the last minute.
We had a fantastic day seeing Santorini with Stavros. He took us to all the main places we wanted to visit, but also a few spots we had never heard of and probably would have missed completely. What we liked most was that we never felt rushed, even though we covered a lot in one day. Stavros was very friendly, knew the island extremely well and made the whole experience easy from start to finish. Eight hours went by much faster than we expected. Definitely worth doing if you want to really see Santorini.
Dennis was great! He knew so much history and interesting facts. He even pulled over to take us into the vineyard on the side of the road to show us the unique way they grow grapes in Santorini. He customized our day based on what we wanted and made great suggestions. He was fun to be with and made our day in Santorini unforgettable!
Had a fabulous 6 hour day tour with Makis who was a great tour guide and driver and very knowledgeable and passionate about Santorini. We saw all over Santorini and could tailor the day to suit what we wanted to see. Was a fun day and we really enjoyed it
A great day on Santorini! I wanted to see it all without the large crowds or busses full of people. GIna & her driver met us and really tailored our trip to the things we wanted to see. We loved the lunch stop recommendation at Black Beach and the small walk to see Red Beach. They even took us to a brewery at the request of my son. It was probably too much money for just 2 people and did not last the whole 8 hours, but we literally saw so much in such an efficient way and saw everything you think you know about Santorini and so much we didn't know!
We had an incident where one of us got hurt and could not walk, and the tour guide did not leave us alone, he actually helped us to get a wheelchair and he stayed with us an extra 2 hours past the tour time and did not leave untill he knew that we all were fine and able to get back in the cruise. He also did us a favor to take the wheelchair back that we rented. He was just amazing, we are so thankful for him and his help.
We had an amazing day exploring Santorini with Makis! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating history about the island. His family has lived in Santorini for five generations, and his deep connection to the island made the experience even more special. He took us wherever we wanted to go, creating the perfect day as we explored beautiful villages, wandered through charming streets, and relaxed at a wonderful beach club. The entire experience was seamless, personalized, and truly breathtaking. If you're visiting Santorini, we highly recommend booking a tour with Makis—you won't be disappointed!
We originally considered a shorter tour, but after spending the day exploring the island, I’m very glad we chose the 8-hour option. What I appreciated most was that there was no sense of being hurried. We had time to walk around, take in the views, have a coffee, and simply enjoy each place instead of just ticking boxes. Santorini is obviously beautiful, but seeing both the famous locations and some quieter corners gave us a much better feel for the island. By the end of the day, it felt like we’d seen the real Santorini rather than just the postcards.
It was just a perfet day. I’m glad we spent it with you. Just a perfect day. Very professionnal. As stated.
Normally full-day tours can feel long and tiring, but this one never did. The schedule was balanced really well and there was enough flexibility throughout the day to stop where we wanted without feeling stuck to a strict program. We saw the famous parts of Santorini, but the quieter locations ended up being the most memorable for us. Overall, it felt much more personal and genuine than most tours we’ve done while traveling. Our guide Stavros also ensured that we had a good time and made the experience feel personalized to our interests.
Stavros was our driver and guide for the day and he was fantastic at showing us the wonderful places and their amazing history. We enjoyed every bit of the 8 hours spent with him and the experience visiting each of the places in the itinerary was breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Santorini!
Petros showed us everything he thought we would love and his knowledge of Santorini was excellent. He spoke excellent English. A great day out.
We just returned from an unforgettable full-day tour in Santorini with our family of five, including our energetic three-year-old, and we cannot say enough good things about our guide, Makis. From start to finish, he made navigating the island feel effortless and truly special. Makis picked us up in a comfortable, air-conditioned Mercedes van right outside of the cable car exit. He was incredibly patient and accommodating with our young child, always making sure we had everything we needed and adjusting the pace whenever necessary. He took us to all the historical sites we had on our list, sharing interesting stories and insights without ever overwhelming us. What really stood out was how flexible he was with our schedule. He happily stopped for shopping, arranged a wonderful lunch right on the beach, and perfectly timed our evening at a beautiful winery where we watched the magical Santorini sunset. Every request was met with a smile. Makis is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cares about making sure families have the best experience possible. He turned what could have been a tiring day with kids into one of the highlights of our entire trip. If you’re visiting Santorini with family (or without!), book with Makis without hesitation. He’s the best! Thank you so much, Makis – we’ll never forget this day! 🙏
Stavros was an excellent guide and made our day in Santorini really enjoyable. The tour was very flexible and adapted to what we wanted to see most. We visited beautiful viewpoints, traditional villages, and some less crowded areas that made the experience feel more authentic. The van was comfortable, the pace was relaxed, and we never felt rushed. A great way to explore the island in one full day.
We were in Santorini on a cruise and booked the 8-hour private tour, and honestly it was one of the best choices we made. Stavros picked us up right on time and made everything feel easy from the start. We got to see all the main spots but never felt rushed, which we really appreciated. He knew exactly where to take us and gave us enough time to actually enjoy each place. The whole day felt relaxed and well organized, and we made it back to the ship with plenty of time. It really felt like we got a proper experience of the island, not just a quick stop.
Stravos, our tour guide, gave us a wonderful day in Santorini. He is soft spoken and very knowledgeable. He was patient with all of our questions and we never felt rushed. His English is excellent, he spoke slowly and clearly, so everyone could understand. His pride in his island was also very evident. We always enjoy private tours over the larger cruise excursions because the cost is only slightly more and the personalized attention is definitely worth it!!
We had an amazing day exploring Santorini with Stavros. It covered all the key spots you’d want to see, along with some hidden places we would never have found on our own. The whole experience felt smooth, relaxed, and well organized. Stavros made everything easy and enjoyable. Perfect choice if you want to see the island properly without any stress. Highly recommend Stavros and his company!
Great way to see all of Santorini in one day. We visited the main highlights like Oia and the caldera viewpoints, but also some quieter, more authentic spots. The tour felt relaxed and flexible, not rushed at all. Everything was well organized and comfortable. Definitely worth it if you want to experience the island properly in a single day.
We visited Santorini on a cruise ship and this tour really made our day. Santorini is such a beautiful and unique island and we had the luck to spend it with Stavros! He is a young local guide that really made us feel comfortable throughout the activity and helped us discover the magic of the island. He is experienced and knowledgeable, gave great recommendations for lunch and wine and made the perfect itinerary for our day. I am so glad we hired him and booked this tour for the day. We will definitely be back to spend a few days to see even more wineries and try local dishes. He had a wonderful time. Thank you my dear friend Stavros!!
The experience was amazing with the full day trip, 4 hour trip may be short if you want to see the island.
Stavros was an amazing tour guide! He picked us up on time, in a clean and comfortable van. He was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He gave us options of what to see and we made some changes along the way. He could not have been more accommodating! We gave us a lot of information about the island and the country as a whole. We highly recommend this tour for anyone going to Santorini! We can’t wait to go back and explore more of Santorini with this amazing company!
This was easily the best thing we did during our trip. Stavros was our driver and he was fantastic, not only did he give us a great history of the island, but he also acted as our personal photographer! He took us to some hidden viewpoints near the Blue Domes that we never would have found on our own. The lunch at the black sand beach in Perissa was delicious (get the tomato fritters!), and the whole itinerary felt very flexible. If we wanted to stay longer at the Red Beach or skip a shop, he was totally fine with it. It really felt like a premium, private experience rather than just another cookie-cutter tour. Highly recommended
Honestly, if you only have a day or two in Santorini, just book this. We were a bit worried about the 'all day' part being exhausting, but our guide, Theo, made it so easy. He knew exactly when to hit the popular spots like Oia to avoid the massive cruise ship crowds, which was a lifesaver. The van was super comfortable and had cold water and chargers, which we definitely needed by midday. We loved the stop in Megalochori, it felt way more authentic than the main tourist hubs. Truly felt like we saw the whole island without any of the stress of navigating ourselves.
This private Santorini tour was exactly what we hoped for. From the first pickup, everything felt calm and organized. Our guide asked questions, suggested ideas, and then followed our preferences. We visited Oia early, enjoyed quiet viewpoints, and learned why certain villages feel so different. I liked that history was shared casually, not rushed or overwhelming. The vehicle stayed cool all day, which mattered more than expected. We stopped for photos whenever we asked and changed timing without stress. Wine tasting was optional, relaxed, and informative. By the end, it felt less like a tour and more like exploring with someone local who genuinely cared. It suited couples, families, and travelers who value flexibility and comfort over strict schedules now.
Really solid experience overall. The private setup made a big difference. We moved at our own pace, skipped places we did not care about, and spent more time where we wanted. The guide listened and adjusted constantly with great attitude
We arranged this private tour to get away from the crowds, and boy, did they deliver. The guide came to pick us up right on time and asked us what we were really interested in seeing. We got to spend time in Oia, visited lookouts that I would never have discovered on my own, and even changed the itinerary along the way. The car was clean, cool, and comfortable all day long. I enjoyed hearing the little tidbits of information about villages and wine without it being a lecture. Lunch by the beach was relaxed and not rushed. It felt like it was worth every euro, and I would definitely arrange this same experience again tomorrow.
Great private tour with complete flexibility. We visited Oia, villages, and vineyards. The guide was very friendly and all that
If you're only in Santorini for a short time, book this tour! It really get you to see everything. We covered the caldera viewpoints, volcanic beaches, a winery stop, Oia, Fira bells, and some isolated places we’d never have found on our own. The guide was friendly, spoke perfect English, and shared so many cool stories about the island's history and volcanoes. Perfect day for fun, and unforgettable experience
This tour was the absolute highlight of our Greece trip! We wanted to see as much of Santorini as possible in one day without so rush, and this private 8-hour exceeded our expectation. Our driver was super knowledgeable, picked us up from the hotel, started with Oia for the views, the red and black beaches, Akrotiri ruins, and even some quiet hidden villages. The car was comfortable with AC and water, and we stopped for a lunch. We got the real Santorini experience. Highly recommend!
One absolutely perfect day! We were able to customize our itinerary to do exactly what we wanted to see and do! This is the ONLY way to spend your time in Santorini if you are there for one day on a cruise or for a short time. So not worth it to take a group tour and spend half your day waiting for other people to get on and off a bus, stop at sites you have no interest in, and skip other sites you would love to see. More than reasonable price for 8 hours with a private driver who speaks perfect English and gives you background history of the island on the drive! We even got to stop at a great 'locals' taverna for lunch, which we never would have found on our own, and also asked to make a quick stop at a local bakery for traditional Greek pasteries. Epitome Travel is the best of the best!
We had an absolute wonderful time! Stavos was awesome and most helpful! He was very knowledgeable and very accommodating
We stumbled upon a random tour and booked it on a whim, and boy, are we glad we did! Our guide, Starvos, was an absolute legend! He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made the whole experience super enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Thanks, Starvos, you're a top bloke! We'd highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a genuine and fun experience!"
Midday heat was strong. Shade is limited in some places and little breaks under cover would have helped. Overall views were unreal. The lighthouse views, the heart of santorini, Cliff edges with deep blue water, so many moments where I just stood still to soak it all in.
The weather was gorgeous, and the mix of views, beaches, and little stops made the day feel special without being rushed. A simple, memorable day out.
A very full day spent seeing all of the majestic sights Santorini had to offer. Our private tour guide Stavros was fantastic, tailoring our preferences with his extensive knowledge of the island. Always patient and accomodating, highly recommed his tour.
We saw the famous sights, quite villages, and even a few places I'd never seen in travel blogs. It felt personal, relaxed, and exactly what I wanted from a full day in Santorini.
From postcard views in our to the black beach, everything was amazing Especially heart of santorini. In conclusion I'll say we never felt rushed and got to see so much more than we expected.
My husband and I splurged on this tour for our anniversary, and it was hands-down the best decision we made. Our guide, Alex, felt like a mix of a local best friend and a walking Santorini encyclopedia chill but full of passion for the island. We hit all the iconic spots (Oia at golden hour? Chef’s kiss), but the magic was in the hidden gems Alex knew—like a tucked-away cliffside café with insane views and zero crowds.
We thought it'd be just another tour... Until Stavros showed up with his comfy van, and playlist straight out of a Greek summer movie. We laughed, we learned, we ate way too much feta. 10/10, would get sunburnt in santorini again.
Santorini tour was the highlight of our trip to Greece. It wasn't rushed, it wasn't overly touristy just a genuine experience.
Booking a private tour when we only had one day in Santorini was such a great idea! Getting Stavaros as our guide was perfection! He made sure that we didn’t just see Santorini…….we experienced it! We traveled from one end of the island to the other and saw everything in between. We had a lovely while lunch sitting at the black sand beach. We visited the monastery, the lighthouse, little villages & a cave house, windmills, spectacular views and so many more beautiful things on this tour! We wandered & shopped the beautiful streets of Fira & Oia and took the most beautiful photos. We got to hear the Santorini stories & learn the history while seeing the beauty. We felt pampered & protected the whole time. We saw & experienced more in one day with Stavaros than we would have in multiple days with a group tour. It was 100% THE BEST!! Book the tour!! 💙
We had "one fine day" with Stavros on this Santorini See Everything All Day Private Tour. Stavros picked up up from the port on the first day and took up to our accommodations near Oia. He was prompt, drove so carefully, and has a very professional, respectful, courteous, relaxed, and aim to please personality and demeanor. The next day was our full day in Santorini, and we truly felt like we came away seeing it all. Stavros was very flexible with pick up time and expertly suggested mid-day so that we could see highlights of the island, ending with our sunset in Oia. We saw Akrotiri, red sand beach, black sand beach, Estate Argyros winery, three bells of Fira, cave house and small village, and of course the sunset in Oia which was breathtaking. Stavros spent more than the planned time with us, and we invited him to join us for dinner, as it felt like he was family by the end of our day. We would recommend him highly to anyone looking to see all of Santorini. He is also very willing to accommodate different stops/requests and even so kindly went to grab us water when we were at the winery. And then the next morning, he picked us up and dropped us at the airport. He's a total professional who loves what he does. We could not have seen all that we did without him, and really felt like we came away from our one day in Santorini seeing "seeing everything"!
Our driver , was quite polite, gentle and profissional . During all the tour , he pointed out the highlights and he was all time worried about us: are you OK? What else would you like to see, do you have any Special thing/ desire? To resume : very amazing time!
We had an amazing day in Santorini. We saw places we would have never knew to check out on our own. Our tour guide Stavaros was very informative and kind. My only negative to report is his dry personality. Maybe just needs to gain some more confidence and be more personable. Other than that - we had an amazing day.
It was a memorable experience spending the day exploring Santorini, as each stop was thoughtfully chosen, and the pacing was just right for us. We had enough time to enjoy, without feeling rushed. The route gave us a great mix of scenery, culture, and quiet moments. Everything ran smoothly, and by the end of the day, we felt like we had truly connected with the island.
We booked the 8 hour private tour with Stavros as part of our honeymoon, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our entire trip. From the moment we were picked up, everything felt personalized, smooth, and luxurious. Stavros took us to the most breathtaking spots, such as romantic caldera viewpoints, peaceful villages, beautiful beaches, and a stunning winery with the dreamiest views. He gave us time to enjoy each place at our own pace, never rushing us, and always offering great photo ideas (we have some of our favorite honeymoon photos thanks to him). What we appreciated most was how relaxed and easy everything felt. Stavros was warm, respectful, and incredibly knowledgeable and he made us feel like we were exploring the island with a trusted friend. If you're visiting Santorini as a couple or on your honeymoon, do not miss this tour. It gave us a deeper connection to the island and memories we’ll cherish forever. Truly a perfect day.
