Imerovigli is one of the most instagramic places of Santorini. Is located center west of Santorini only 3.5 km from Fira. Imerovigli is very often referred to as the "balcony of the Aegean" and it definitely lives up to this name by offering a most spectacular view of the Aegean sunset. Other highlights are the many churches in typical Cycldic architecture, especially the church of Ai-Stratis and the Monastery of St. Nikolas, as well as Skaros Rock which features the remains of a medieval fortress.
The Monastery of the Prophet Elijah is built at about 565 meters above sea level, which makes it the highest point of the entire island. Thus, it becomes clear that the view from there is actually unparalleled. You can enjoy exclusive views of the entire island and its surroundings and take amazing photos. Especially at sunset, you will find yourself in a state of delight.
Megalochori - Traditional Village Megalochori is a picturesque, lively village with friendly, lively inhabitants. The central square is the heart of the village, where locals gather in traditional cafes to relax and have fun, creating a warm atmosphere. It is definitely worth spending an evening here to become part of this mood and try local dishes in the natural shade of the trees. You can also find traditional taverns, cafes, and shops in other parts of the village
Red Beach The red beach in Akrotiri is undoubtedly worth a visit, given that it is a rare sight, probably unique in the whole world, where red is the dominant color. It is surrounded by steep red hills that create a captivating, wild landscape. If you stand on the top, you will see huge volcanic rocks located in the sea, small pebbles and sand of various colors, mainly red, all over the beach and attractive dark blue waters.
Perivolos Black Sand Beach Perivolos beach is a fully organized cosmopolitan beach with an abundance of comfortable sunbeds, umbrellas, and other amenities such as lifeguards, showers, and a Playground. It is worth noting that it received the "Blue flag" award, as it is very clean and tidy.
We had a wonderful tour with Sara and Astri! They were warm and kind and took us to many places all over the island while telling us about its history. We were on our honeymoon and Sara took many beautiful pictures of us. I highly recommend this father daughter tour!
Akis our travel guide was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the island. He made us feel very welcomed and took us to many great spots for pictures with beautiful scenery. Taking this private excursion was the best thing. We avoided all the big crowds. Definitely would recommend taking this excursion and getting Akis as travel guide.
Our ship tender operations were running late but the tour company did not put any stress on us and worked with the delay. Our guide and driver Luigi was amazing. His passion for Santorini was evident and his vast knowledge enriched our tour immensely as he took us to many places we had not seen before on the island and others that had not been an option due to crowds and long lines. He worked with our own groups special needs and requests and still with these limitations everyone felt that we our needs had been fulfilled from start to finish. We stopped at one of his favourite restaurants off the beaten path and had wonderful gyros and local wine and had a fantastic meal that was not marked up like many restaurants in the heart of the main tourist areas. Our group of 6 left very full and happy with our meal and even the bill. Our transportation was comfortable, clean, and the cold water provided was much appreciated on this hot day. Luigi gets the award for our best tour guide on our 2 week trip. Thanks for a great day. It is worth every penny to do this tour.
Super fun to see island highlights. We had a great lunch by black beach and Yiannis knew the best spots for Santorini pics and how to avoid the long lines. He was a safe driver and gave great history and island info.
What an amazing tour, Astri and his beautiful daughter were our guides. They are locals who were born and bred in Santorini. They knew everything and everyone, the best places to see, the best food to eat and the best beaches to swim. Do yourself a favour and book AA Travel, their experienced local tour guides are the best. We had a party of 7, had a 4 hours tour tour of the island, stopped for an amazing lunch, and a swim. We were treated like family and felt like it too. The mini Van was super clean, beautiful upholstery and the aircon was great. If you want to see Santorini, this is the way to do it!! We saw spectacular views with shortcuts that fewer people were on, the best coffee, gelato, a private black sand beach that we were the only ones walking! Had the best “Santorini Salad” of our entire trip through Greece & Türkiye at a local restaurant we would never have found on our own! Agalliu took us through streets we could not have navigated on our own… If you want happy memories made with beautiful tour guides, don’t hesitate to book here. You will not regret it!!
Friendly and hospitable. We hit all the main areas in our 7 hour tour! Tons of great pics and very knowledgeable. Even helped us book a boat cruise for the next day. They knew all the hidden spots to see and for pics. Would 110% recommend them anytime.

Mr. Astri was great. He knows Santorini very well. He took us to places which is "the Place" to be to take pictures. I knew this because when we got there, there were several photo shoots going on with professional photographer and models at the site. We got a great view of Santorini from the top of the hill. It is something that you don't get when you join those cruise excursions. Our group was very please with our trip and would recommend Santorini Travel.
We went to Santorini island today and found the tour guide Astri. Man he was excellent. We covered almost all the tourist place in 6 to 7 hours and he explained very well about all. Told history about say red beach.
Astri was a true professional taking us around Santorini. Despite giving us fair warning about the delay with the cable cars up from the old port we were still caught and delayed. He waited patiently for us. He was knowledgeable explaining to us the history and geography of the island and took us to both the tourist places as well as places that the locals would only visit. We had 1 day to maximize, being on a cruise, and Astri ensured that we got the full package. I would definitely recommend him and his company. They also were in constant communication before to ensure everything flowed.
I been to Santorini and now with only certain amount of hrs to experience there I needed a quick check for all the island and they delivered. Excellent service, they took us to everything planned. Our guide and driver were very friendly. A friend had to return to the ship with a hand injury and was quickly transported for care.
