I am interested in archaeology and I wanted to see the prehistoric site of Akrotiri on the island of Santorini. I enjoyed the tour and hearing from the guide as to how the village started to grow from a small farming and fishing village that it was, to become very important in the trading business in the Aegean. It was fulfilling for me to see well-preserved sites in Akrotiri with critical insights into Minoan civilization and the Bronze Age Mediterranean.

We preferred something that aligned with our love for nature and photography and in the process, we enjoyed lots of breathtaking views and local experiences as well.
