I would highly recommended booking your tour with this company and asking for Thanos, he was a great guide. He was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. He took us to all the spots we wanted to see and more. Our visit was short, but he managed our time well. We even had time to stop for a famous Santorini salad for lunch. Thanos is also really good about making sure you get lots of photos to document your experience.
I've been on many tours but this tour was definitely the best. Our guide, Thanos, did a spectacular job. He spoke clearly and explained everything about the island. I was with another couple whose wife has difficulty walking and must use a walker. With this in mind, Thanos designed where we should go. He also went above and beyond by helping hold my friends wife and her walker to navigate going up and down steps. He was knowledgeable enough to know what she could and could not do. This is what separates him from other tour guides. Thanos is an asset to his company and anyone taking a Santorini tour should ask for him.

Michael was punctual, the car was clean and very comfortable, he was knowledgeable and flexible to let us see the sights that mattered most to us. My friend has some mobility issues so he made sure we were walking on the flat where possible and always left us in a shady area when he went to bring the car back to pick us up. Highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of spending the most wonderful shore day in Santorini with our amazing guide, Thanos. What an incredible ambassador he is for his beautiful Island home. We were the first off the cable car and he whisked us away to Oia where we were able to enjoy the beautiful white buildings and blue roofs before the crowds arrived. We had a thorough overview of Santorini, visiting a lighthouse, a small, intimate village, and even a ‘cave house.’ Scheduling directly through the company with George was seamless with great communication. This was our best day of the trip! Our guides Thanos and Marios completely made the experience for us. The pick up was seamless at the cable cars, they were waiting for us right when we got off and they drove us to Oia, showed us all the beautiful views, a local bakery in Fira with delicious treats, they took us to the red beaches and to an amazing lunch at the black beaches. They were so personable, kind, knowledgeable about the area and accommodating. I would recommend this tour to anyone, especially with these two. I hope to be back soon.

Ask for Thanos! His family has been on the island for generations, he speaks perfect English, has a good sense of humor and apparently knows everyone on the island. I honestly can’t say enough about how flexible and accommodating he was. So kind to my daughter, patient when we wanted to shop, helpful in evading the omnipresent crowds. Get on the tram FIRST THING - no exceptions. Failing to do this will make it impossible for any guide to do much to help. Even so you’ll have maybe two hours before every road and walkway is shoulder to shoulder. Get your cliche pics done first and get out of Fira ASAP. He will handle the rest if you’re smart enough to trust his local knowledge. We toured the entire island and had a memorable lunch at a beachfront restaurant of his choosing. It was a magical day and we are so grateful for his help. Be sure to ask him to take you to his village. We flat out adore the guy and will be back. Wishing you a similar experience.

We read the reviews and questioned if it would actually be as good as everyone said. Since we had Thanos as our guide, I must say it was even better than the reviews say! He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the island and answered our many questions. He also gave us a sense of authentic life in Santorini. We opted to not do the archaeological site in Akrotiri, and that was definitely the right choice for us. It gave us more time to explore other parts of the island, sample some local delicacies, and spend time with a genuinely amazing person, Thanos. Be sure to ask for his mother’s tzatziki recipe!

Santorini is a beautiful island and my family and I had the great opportunity of seeing everything with our tour guide Thanos. He brought us to both popular sightseeing spots and less touristic areas, like his village. Thanos was very determined to get the best experience for us - one of the most popular sightseeing spots we visited was packed with tourists all coming from bus tours. Thanos was able to weave us through the crowd and give us the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful views of the island - we wouldn’t have seen it if it wasn’t for him. Our tour felt extremely personal to us. Thanos remained eccentric and passionate about Santorini the whole duration of the tour - you can tell he really loves his job and he really loves the island. He gave us family recipes, shared stories, and gave us a view on how people make a living on the island both in the present and past. Although we all felt we’ve seen Santorini back and forth thanks to the tour, Thanos gave us reason to come back and experience the island again. We’ve never had a tour guide like him before and our Santorini experience will not be a forgettable one.
