Here are the sites we were supposed to see based on the promotion from Viator:either correct the offering promotion and reduce the price or work with the driver to ensure everything that is promoted they know they are supposed to take you too and allow time. We didn’t spent an inordinate amount of time at any of the stops. When we showed him the itinerary of the tour he said you can never do that in the amount of time Viator has online. VIATOR Santori Photo Safari Tour be 15 minutes early 3:30pm -7:30pm 4 hour tour Meet at top of cable car. $429.76 (4 adults) $107.44 each 1. This interesting and special morphological character puts the Red Beach among the fascinating shores in the world. 2. Lighthouse; beautiful panoramic views off the edge of a cliff 3. Vlychada Beach Maybe the most captivating beach on the island, Vlychada will give you the sense of being on a... trip to the moon. The main road divides it into two territories: the one, towards Caldera, has impressive underground edifices, while the other is adorned with captain-houses (capetanospita). At the settlement’s side lies the castle, with its remaining parts offering unique views of the infinite blue and the famous sunset. 1 hour 30 minutes • Admission Ticket Free We chose this tour and paid more than others due to what we were going to be able to see. Our driver didn’t follow this script at all though when we got in the car with him he asked if we wanted to follow that and we said yes. He took us first to Oia.which was the last stop on the tour information and what we wanted. He then went to the red beach and a black beech but not the Vlychada Beach which we had hoped to see based on the description. After that my wife ask if we were going to see what was in the description of the tour. He read the description and said they put to many things in we can’t do all of that. We then asked about the Monastery and he said we could possible do that on the way back to the pier. All in all we did three things from the listed offering not the 8 promoted on the Viator site. We were very disappointed in the tour and would not recommend it. We felt like the couple with us and ourselves got ripped off from what we paid for. It was surprising to us the driver didn’t know what he was supposed to show us and some of them he didn’t even know where they were on the island. We had really hoped to see Castelli of Emporio and the largest village of Santorini, Emporio, including the hill of Gavrilos and its ridge with 9 traditional windmills (he said he didn’t know where they were), we also wanted to see lighthouse with it’s views. He said was too far to go see and said the view is just as good from here at the red beach. In looking at the map it was only a short distance from the red beach he took us too. Beware of this promotion and know that you may not see all of Santorini you bargained for. A once in a lifetime trip was shortchanged by Viator.

Grab your camera and get ready - such landscapes are not to be found everywhere... While Santorini has several of the sort, Red Beach’s landscape is truly unique: Dark blue waters, with the mountain towering above them, crimson and black, combining a unique landscape. Very beautiful panoramic view on the edge of the cliff. From the most beautiful spots of the island. It's worth a stop!

Christos was a great guide with lots of knowledge. A local to Santorini filled with information and great recommendations with a way to navigate crowds to help get the best photos. Made extra stops per our request and was very accommodating.
Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the island. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing adventure. I would recommend this tour!
Christos was so friendly and knowledgable! He gave us some options about what we wanted to see since we had already been on the island a few days. Highly recommend their services!
Our guide was Zedafiris and he was fantastic! He took us all over Santorini and gave us lots of history and explanation along the way. He personalized the trip for us, making sure we saw the things we requested. We appreciated his friendly and courteous demeanor! Highly recommend this tour.
Tour guide was great, enjoyed learning about his city! Went to many scenic spots! Beautiful city, until next time! ❤️❤️
We had a great afternoon with Panos. It was incredibly windy but he took us to the highest points of the island for some great photos. He was very accommodating when we said we had been to a couple of the proposed spots already and revised his itinerary for us, including a favourite of his - a heart shaped hollow in a hidden wall with a great view beyond!
Easily one of the best values on Viator. Nick was an excellent guide; personable and very knowledgeable about the area and where to get the best shots. The minibus is comfortable and the views are indescribable. Incredible experience I would recommend to any Instagram or photography enthusiast.
The trip was great. Our guide Demetrius was outstanding. He was very friendly and knew much about the island.
Really great tour! We got to see the whole island and the tour guide was super informative and helpful. The minibus was fully air con which was lovely and they accommodated a seat for our baby. Highly recommend for seeing the whole of Santorini and getting the best picture spots!
The guide is very knowledgeable about the island. The trip is fruitful, I visited several spots rarely other people were around.
I knew it was a risk taking this tour. There weren't a lot of reviews, but the reviews that were written sounded good. Unfortunately this is simply a glorified personal driver. It's not a tour. The driver did ask if we had any specific interests that we'd like to see at the beginning of the tour. Because it was just the people in our party, we thought just seeing what was highlighted in the description of the "tour" was sufficient. Our first stop was Oia. (I thought that was supposed to be the last stop so we could see the sunset, but was told it would be too crowded.) The driver literally dropped us off at the parking lot, gave us verbal instructions on where to walk to see the blue domes and the old ruins, and gave us a meet up time. We ended up getting turned around, and didn't even get to see the blue domes because of the massive tourist lines. (There were two tour groups all standing in line for a good shot of the domes, and it would have taken easily an hour to get a picture.) When we met back with the driver, he drove us to our next stop, the monastery. He didn't really give us any history or talk to us at all as we drove around. he just parked, we got out walked around, and met back at the bus. Our final stops were at the red beach and black beach. Both were pretty, but I felt like we could have taken a cab and saved the $85/pp to get the same experience. Overall I was disappointed, and expected a bit more interaction with our "tour guide". I don't know if our experience was unique. I liked the idea that it was private to our party, but if you're looking for more than a driver, I suggest going with a different tour.
Zafires was our guide for the day....since it's a private tour, he is good about asking about interests to cater to your likes & will take you to places you may enjoy. If you don't have any suggestions, the established itinerary is great too. He is very personable & is great guide. All the places we stopped at were fantastic! Recommend!
Zafires was our guide for the day. He was wonderful and took us from one end of Santorini to the other end with stops along the way to see beautiful towns and stunning views. Zafires picked us up in his new van that was very clean. He was welcoming and offered different choices for the day. He was friendly and shared history and the culture of Santorini and took photos wherever we asked him to! A wonderful day - Thank you Zafires!
This tour only had 3 ratings, so I was a bit worried, however all three ratings were 5 star. We were thrilled with our tour, we went to places tourists do not get to see, we had amazing views of the entire island, we were never rushed or amongst crowds, and that is what we wanted. We wanted a tour off the beaten path with views...and we received that and more. Nik knows where the secret treasures are, and he took us to all of them. FABULOUS SERVICE, OUTSTANDING TOUR GUIDE, LUXURY TRAVEL IN A/C...could not ask for better.
We had a wonderful time with Fotis as our guide! We were able to customize our trip a bit and had an amazing day! I highly recommend! Parking was tough that morning so we walked a couple blocks on cobblestone streets to meet our driver! It was very easy to find and we were in our way! Allow yourself plenty of time to catch the cable car, enjoy the view from the top and check out a few shops!
Worth every euro we spent on this tour. Wasn't really sure what we were getting into at first but Maurios took us to all the beautiful photo spots on the island as he explained why the spots were important. He was an excellent cameraman when we asked for group photos and always asked what we wanted to do. We went over the 3 hour tour time but he kept telling us to not worry and enjoy ourselves and the scenery. After the tour he mentioned a restaurant and a greek dish we should try which were both wonderful.
Your guide took us to all of the amazing locations & personalizes based on our interest. Panos was great !
In the past, the beach was so lonely that you could even bathe in nudism. With the construction of a road, the frequency has increased, but still worth a visit
The trip was very nice. We were well looked after and since there were only two of us, express individual wishes.
