Santorini Must-see Highlights Private Tour

We did a 5hr private island tour which was enough to enjoy all the beautiful scenery and Thomas was our tour guide and was fun, knowledgeable, and very accommodating with our group that had 1 handicap person and 2 deaf people . He took the time to help them and explain everything to us about the island. I highly recommend Thomas.

We had a wonderful day seeing Santorini with George! We were a party of five ladies and George took great care of us. We saw all of the main sights and learned so much about the island. Communication with the company before and during the tour was great, and they didn't try to upsell us on unnecessary private water taxi. 100% recommend the tour, very well organized and they know the best places! From the moment our ship was in port , I had messages from our guide giving instructions on exact meeting point . Our tour guide George was super friendly and so welcoming. He made us feel like family. Our day was a full day and he took us to the most amazing and beautiful places . He constantly would stop for beautiful photo stops . He gave us Mon stop information and the history of the island. He was so much fun and made our day so special, When we said goodbye , it was like saying goodbye to an old friend We would highly recommend George and the company for the best experience in Santorini .

Our tour was fantastic based on the knowledge and passion of our tour guide George. George has been coming to Santorini well before the island became a tourist destination. He personalized our tour based on our interests and presented us with amazing views, interesting history, and ended with with a stunning wine visit, where we enjoyed great wine, delicious small bites, along with a stunning view. Our tour guide Aphrodite, was absolutely amazing! She reached out to us prior to our tour to advise the best time to arrive and was there waiting for us when we arrived. She got us to the best photo spots, a beautiful winery, and a nice place for lunch. She talso ook us to an archaeological site that was very interesting! With all of these stops we had a full tour of the island of Santorini in a very comfortable van and she was accommodating to all of our needs and requests. I would highly recommend this tour! Your will have the best tour of Santorini, especially if you are fortunate enough to have Aphrodite as your guide!

This is the best way to see Santorini no matter what season! Our guide, George, took us to lots of out of the way places and showed us the ‘real’ Santorini. We managed to avoid the crowds but still experience all Santorini had to offer. This is by far the best way to see the best of the island in a few short hours. We had such a wonderful time on our Santorini tour! We only had a short amount of time on Santorini due to our cruise ship stop and Evans tailor made the experience perfectly to meet our needs. He brought us to all the key stops efficiently, gave us some cool insight into the history of the island, was a great photographer and chaperoned us perfectly given our very tight timeframe. He knew all the best spots on the island and found us a great vantage point for a beautiful sunset off the cliffs of Oia. Perfectly timed and perfectly executed!

I did this tour with my parents and our tour guide was Zafiris. He was the absolute best! We did the 4 hour private tour and Zirfiris really taught us so much about Santorini. You can tell he really enjoys his job and I feel like I learned so much about the island, including so much of the history of how Santorini became what it is today. We traveled in a nice air conditioned van and Zafiris showed us places I never heard of. He was very accommodating and thoughtful, especially since my mom needed extra time to walk due to a recent injury that requires her to use a cane. We were so incredibly grateful to have experienced this tour and we feel very lucky to have had Zafiris as our tour guide. I highly recommend this tour. It was truly a highlight of our trip.

We did this tour with 10 couples and had Thomas as our driver and guide. Thomas was excellent! He provided lots of interesting and entertaining information as we drove across the beautiful island of Santorini. He helped us navigate the busy streets of Oia, taking us to see breathtaking views. He recommended an excellent spot for us to have lunch. We visited a winery with great wine and more beautiful views. Some of the couples wanted to stop at a bakery so he accommodated that wish without hesitation. A 5-star experience!

This was an amazing way to spend the day. Kotsas knows the island inside and out and was full of history and tips on how to enjoy the best parts of Santorini that are not in the travel goods or on-line. Not to mention, he is hilarious. We are from the US so having him translate a bit for us into places we would not have been able to see due to his many connections on the island. The booking process was simple and easy and Aphrodite was a pleasure to deal with in planning the trip. You can tailor the trip to your own tastes and Kostas is an excellent photographer if you have a group that loves to be in scenic pictures. Highly highly recommend

Aphrodite showed us several hidden gems on Santorini that I am confident I wouldn’t find myself. It was nice that this event was private so we could personalize our experience a bit and also ask questions. It also doesn’t hurt to have a guide sneak you past long lines for VIP access.

We had an amazing time on our tour! Zafeiris was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. My wife was in a walking boot which was difficult for Santorini but he made sure she was safe and helped her navigate the many stairs and walkways of Oia. We saw all of the major attractions at our own pace. Very highly recommended!

My first time using Viator. I had concerns about our drop off and pick up points and they responded to my inquiries quickly. They were very thorough and texted 24 hours before our tour to confirm our tour and see if we had any questions. The tour was amazing. Zafeiris was extremely knowledgeable about everything Santorini. He was friendly, helpful, and very patient with for women who sometimes could not make up their minds. I would highly recommend this tour, and if you’re able to secure Zafeiris as your guide, you too will want to give this a 10 star review.

What a terrific way to see Santorini! First of all, Santoriginal's communication was so prompt and thorough. They make it very easy to choose the best tour for your needs and they respond to your questions quickly and thoroughly. I felt very at ease booking with them. Our guide, Nicolas, was absolutely wonderful - smart, funny, easy-going. He genuinely seems to love what he does and wants you to enjoy your tour. Throughout our day with Nicolas, he shared lots of interesting Santorini history, geography, and other cultural facts. Pick-up was easy - he met us just outside the upper cable car station. We walked a few blocks away from the crowds and shops to a safe place to wait while he brought the car around. By the way, the car was a beautiful black Mercedes sedan, immaculate inside and out. It also had terrific air-conditioning, thank goodness, because it was extremely hot and humid that day. Nicolas had chilled bottles of water waiting for us in the cupholders in the back seat, which was also a welcome touch. We spoke briefly about what we wanted to see. He suggested that we avoid most of the "Instagram" sites because they will be super crowded, and why would we want to get the same photo that a million others have posted on social media? We agreed, and we left most of the decisions up to him. We had an absolutely beautiful day hopping around the island's sights, learning about life there and what shapes it, and talking with local shopkeepers and restaurateurs. We had lunch in Oia, dipped our feet in the sea at the black sand beach, and sampled Santorini's famous wine. We ended our tour back in Fira, with time to browse the shops and get in line for the cable car return. Honestly, I can't imagine touring Santorini any other way. I highly recommend Santoriginal Tours and Nicolas!
