Our tour guide, Ioanna, provided our family an amazing overview of Santorini. We had time to stop at the three main beaches on the island (red, black and white beaches). She gave us a great lesson on the history and architecture of Santorini as well. She took us to all of perfect spots to take photos of this amazing island! She was friendly, funny and knowledgeable of the area. We also had time to do a little shopping and have an amazing lunch at the black beach! I’m fairly sure this is the tour we took (it was booked through our travel agent). We were picked up at the port and hit all the highlights. Poppi was a skilled driver and Panos was very knowledgeable in all areas. We had a wine tasting, saw the blue domes, black sand beach, a village (or two). It was a lot and it was great. The car was comfortable and lunch (on our own, not included) was wonderful at the black sand beach. Would highly recommend!

A great day with Panos. He picked us up at the top of the cable car, and we walked us to his nice clean car. He told us all about the history, geology , and the micro climate of the island. He took us to all the vantage points of the island and to some beautiful places outside of Oia and Fira. We saw the beaches, the vineyards, the churches. In short we saw the island from top to bottom. He asked us if we wanted lunch and what type of food. We ended up with a great lunch of gyros and souvlaki by the black beach. Our private tour with Panos in Santorini was the highlight of our trip! From the moment he picked us up, Panos made us feel welcomed and completely at ease. His knowledge of the island, warm personality, and attention to detail made the day unforgettable. We explored Oia’s blue-domed churches and cobblestone streets, took in caldera views at Firostefani, and visited Pyrgos and the Prophet Elias Monastery for breathtaking island panoramas. In Megalochori, Panos shared stories of tradition and architecture, and at Red Beach, we marveled at the unique volcanic cliffs and sand. Instead of the lighthouse stop, Panos suggested we eat at seaside restaurant where we enjoyed delicious local cuisine while overlooking the Aegean Sea, an absolute highlight! We ended the day strolling along the Perissa Black Sand Beach, soaking in the beauty and tranquility.

Panos was great! During the tour we could tell private was the best option for Santorini. For moments it felt like we had areas to ourselves in between cruise and big bus tours. We found out there were many cancellations due to the earthquake this year, but were still able to see things changed with the larger groups. There was also a lot of flexibility and consideration for a family member with mobility issues. We were given the information in advance and decided what we could and couldn’t handle.

A must do tour! Panos drove me and my girlfriend around the island to some unforgettable view points and to an idyllic little town to stroll through. He was so knowledgeable about the history and generally anything asked during our tour. Panos was also very accommodating to anything we wanted to stop and look at or do during the tour. Our private tour with Panos in Santorini was spectacular! We were picked up in a spacious, comfortable, air conditioned van and treated to ice cold water and most amazing private guided tour of this beautiful island. Panos expertly guided us to all the best well known and hidden gem sites, acted as our family photographer and gave us interesting historical tidbits. He even showed us on his phone how sites used to look and what changes took place as a result of volcanic activity. It was the best tour we have taken and our kids agreed.

We were a party of 8 and Panos brought us around the island. What an amazing way to see all the great spots in Santorini. We spent about four days in Santorini. The best decision we took was to spend the first day with Panos. We were looking for someone do knows the island well and could give us an idea of where to spend our time. Panos was extremely knowledgeable. Plus he was also friendly and considerate. His sense of humor and his energy make him a great person to hang out with. He made sure to understand our preferences and showed us many of the high points of the island including the best places for sightseeing, watching the sunset, taking photos, going on hikes and eating out. Thanks to him, not only did we have great first day, we had a great time on the island during the following few days. Highly recommend!

The tour and views were amazing but the absolute best part was our guide! Panos did an amazing job of explaining the history and culture of Santorini while taking us to some of the most beautiful sites. This was the highlight of our stay in Santorini, and there were lots of wonderful things we saw, and experienced, and ATE!. We were picked up on time, by our professional and knowledgeable driver, Panos, in a late model, clean car. This was a private tour, just us. We told Panos our must sees and he filled in the ones we didn’t know about! We had FUN. Drove straight to Oia to explore and hit the hot spots, couldn’t resist the shops and cafe. We worked our way down the coast stopping at different villages and a sea side tavern for a sea food lunch. When we come back we will insist on Panos. Great all around experience.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Panos gave us a customized tour of the island seeing everything from the monastery to Akrotiri archeological site and black beach for a beautiful lunch. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island. If you’re staying near resorts in Oia like we were, it gives you the ability to see other parts of this beautiful island you would otherwise not see.
