Santorini 3-winery Tour With 12 Wine Tastings And Oia Sunset

My friend and I had an awesome wine tasting tour with a super friendly and knowledgeable guide who spoke excellent English. I highly recommended this tour!

Today we did our tour with Elias and it was more than we imagined it would be. The wine tasting and trip around Santorini was amazing, but the insight into the culture and history Elias gave us was worth the trip alone. We would highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Santorini and be sure to ask for Elias!

Our tour guide Elias was amazing. We stopped by 3 different wineries and on the way our guide shared history of the island and had a lot of knowledge of the wineries as well! He took us into a locals only spot as well where we could bottle our own wine. One of a kind experience!

Our driver Elias was wonderful! He told us many stories about the history of Santorini and the surrounding areas. He even added a few extra stops for photos!

Our winery tour was absolutely fantastic! Elias truly made the experience even more entertaining and enjoyable. He shared so many interesting cultural facts and insights about the island and its wine, making the tour both fun and informative. It’s clear that he takes great pride in the experiences he provides and genuinely enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. We also stopped at a beautiful, traditional village that was absolutely gorgeous and added an extra special touch to the tour. We would definitely book with Elias again and highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Santorini!

We had an amazing wine tour! Elias was an informed, humorous and energetic guide. He was generous with his time as were all of the employees of the vineyards we visited. We tasted a wonderful variety of local wines while learning about the unique evolution of the amazing rich variety of Greek wines in this dry island which would challenge any of the traditional European wines. Elias knowledge of the history was impressive. We met wonderful people on our intimate tour. Would highly recommend this tour to the wine aficionado or the novice taster.

We are just returning from our tour with Elias. He is an exceptionally great guide; his friendliness, knowledgeable sharing of information about the vines, their growth, how conditions on Santorini influence the wine's flavors and growth, and his great sense of humor made the small group tour very worth experiencing! All three of the wineries we visited for tastings were well organized and fun. He was a six star guide in a five star world!

Very interesting experience, from small unknown village vitner, to more commercial large winery. Our guide was Elias, who provided a very passionate and fascinating background not only to our day's events, but also to the island as a whole, explaining many interesting topics and history we had previously missed. Highly recommended. Elias also took us deeper into the wineries and provided more context than the wineries themselves did.

This was better than expected! Our guide and driver Fani was a wonderful hostess for this trip. She was very knowledgeable about the terroir and provenance of all the wineries and had spot on recommendations for pairing with food on each. All the wineries presented great tastings and nibbles for us. We had plenty of time to savor the tasting-I appreciated not being rushed. We finished the trip with a drive to Oia for the sunset and had a little free time to see the town. All in all a great tour -well worth the money!

We went to three very different wineries and learned about the history and current wine making practices in Santorini. And of course we tasted wonderful wine. Our guide Fani was so knowledgeable and personable!

After reviewing many tours available, this is the tour that my daughter and I really wanted to take. We were very nervous because we were arriving and departing on a cruise ship so likely drove them crazy with our messages. The tour started 1.5 hours early and lasted 6 hours from drop off to pick up. This gave us plenty of time to enjoy the learning, the wines, and the wonderful people we met on the tour. All 3 tasting stops were fantastic! One warning though, take cash. The first two stops were fine to buy wine with credit card, but the last stop is a small one family business. These were my favourite wines (I love sweet wines and liquors) and I wanted to buy one of each but didn’t have cash. Our tour guide Elias went above and beyond. He has so much knowledge of the island, the wines, the processes etc, he is also so incredibly kind. He offered to lend us cash at the last winery (I just didn’t feel right doing that). He was so concerned about making sure we got back to our ship on time that he arranged for a car to come pick us up. My daughter was chilly in the wind, he lent her his jacket, and also packed all of our bags and items into a shopping bag for us to carry easily. I would 100% recommend this tour and guide!

Great tour with a great spread of two established wineries and one local to give different perspective. Elias our driver was great and extremely knowledgeable of the wine, their processes, and the history of the island of Santorini. He even walked us through the wine making and bottling areas at one of the bigger wineries when the tasting/tour on site didn’t.

I will leave out commentary on the wines as my husband and I tend to prefer sweeter wines :) The wineries on this tour were beautiful for photos and each provided 4 wines and a small plate to taste with. Each provided context on the grapes and processes and history, and were friendly with good service. The final stop was a more local option and was very interesting and charming to visit. The sunset over Oía was a beautiful way to end the night. Our guide was the highlight of our day however and was extremely friendly, personable and had a great sense of humor!

Watch WhatsApp to verify time. Ours changed to accommodate the earlier setting of the sun in late season. The company called and got us where we needed to be. Elias Gregorus was our tour guide. He was very knowledgable, and fun. We were able to see 3 wineries - 2 that are open to the public and one that wasn't. We learned about how they grow the grapes and why they do it differently. We learned a bit about the area, got to walk thru a more authentic part of town and ended at an amazing viewing point for the sunset. I would recommend this tour and operator!

We really enjoyed this wine tour with Elias as our tour guide. He was knowledgeable in all things wine and provided many stories about Greek history and wine. We had a wonderful time. Elias mentioned he’s been working 7 days a week lately, so I hope he gets a day off soon! Would recommend anyone who’s considering booking this tour to do it.

Elias was wonderful!! He was engaging and knew a lot about the wineries and the growing/harvesting and wine production processes. Each place was unique, interesting, warm and welcoming.

We had such a wonderful vineyard tour yesterday and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in Santorini. Our guide was absolutely excellent — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and full of fascinating stories about Santorini’s history, the vineyards and how wine production on the island has evolved over the years. What really made the tour special was the way he brought the past to life with his stories; it never felt like we were simply being given facts, but rather getting a genuine insight into the island, its people and its traditions. Everything was relaxed, informative and really enjoyable, and we came away having learned so much. A special mention also has to go to our driver, Elias Grigoris, who was fantastic. Friendly, professional and completely reliable, he looked after us brilliantly and made travelling between the vineyards effortless. A great trip made even better by our excellent tour guide Elias Grigoris, he went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the trlp. We tasted a selection of wines at each winery along with cheeses, meats bread. Elias then took us to the most perfect spot to enjoy watching the most beautiful sunset. His knowledge on the wines and Santorini really made this trip very special, we recommend booking this experience.

Elias was an awesome tour guide! We learned more about Santorini on this tour than all the others we did on our trip. The wineries were all beautiful and the last one was a very unique, local experience led by Elias himself. It was an unforgettable part of our trip!

Wasn’t worth the money for what we paid . Drinks of wine were tiny tiny amounts and we didn’t get to see the sunset at Oia . The tour guides were fantastic and knew a lot of information but just wasn’t worth the money and I’m disappointed as we have been on a few wine tasting tours previously.

Really enjoyed the tour. The wines were excellent and our guide Elias was great. He was knowledgeable about the wine process and had interesting tidbits about the history of wine on Santorini and Santorini itself.

We did our family tour with Elias driving and Fani giving us tours of the wineries and reviewing the wines we were tasting. She was very knowledgeable about wines and the process of making them! And she went the extra mile to substitute wines to each person and better the tastings even more! Very great experience. What a great experience! All wineries were fantastic! I loved all the wines chosen for tasting, even the sweeter ones which I’m usually not as fond of. Fani was a fantastic guide, explaining things thoroughly along the way-she has a great personality too! Our driver, Elias could not have been any better. He also provided insight along the way. And even with 3 cruise ships and crowds of people headed to Oia he was very timely in getting us to Oia for sunset and was patient with us taking a million photos there. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour - we were there in the offseason and still got to go to three places. The highlight was definitely the small family winery where we got to bottle our own wine to take home.

What a fantastic wine tour in every way possible! I can’t speak highly enough of our guide Fani. I wasn’t expecting it to be just my partner & I, which made it all the more personal. Fani was extremely knowledgeable in both Santorini’s history & wine. Being an oenologist & viticulturist we found her background & work history absolutely fascinating. Us having been to Oia the night before, Fani took us to a hidden viewpoint for the sunset, where there was only a couple more people. When our night was over i was ecstatic because of our sensational day but also sad as it felt like i was saying goodbye to a close friend. So thankyou Santorini Pickups for the fantastic experience, and an extra special thank you to Fani for everything, and making our day one we will treasure forever.

A great evening out! Fanny was very knowledgable and friendly, and the tour took us all over the island to visit three wineries of different sizes and styles.

Amazing tour! Ended up being a private tour which was a nice surprise. Elias was very kind and even took us to an amazing sunset spot and let us walk around Meglachori village for a little bit. The van was comfy too!
