Professional Flying Dress Photoshoot In Santorini

Great experience and so glad I did these photos while in Santorini! Photographer and assistant were punctual, friendly, and overall enjoyable.

We went to Santorini for our 25th Anniversary and brought our children with us. We have Yannis and Anastasia took our flying dress photos and they are WONDERFUL to work with! I am a picture girl and talking about details to make sure you look your best, you got to have Yannis!!! He will tell you to bend your elbows, chin down or up, attention to details is what I was looking for and he’s got it! Our photos turned out more than I expected! Beforehand, I I showed them views I love and poses and they did it! They are a couple and the work well together. They want you to have fun while under the sun! I have see other photographers take photos but nothing like them who is detail oriented! If you want your photos to be professionally done, get them. THEY ARE WORTH IT!

Enjoyed the shoot with Yannis and Anastasia! They were professional and made me feel beautiful! They knew the best locations to go for the most incredible shots in Santorini! My advice is go as early in the morning as possible because of the heat and others doing dress shoots in the same locations! Yannis is professional and kind! You will love your photos!

Yannis and Anastasia were both very professional and so kind, this was an experience that you can’t miss. Pro tip wake up early and do the 6 am shoot. We had the best location without the crowds or the heat. We previewed a few photos and they were remarkable and untouched or edited. Which we will be awaiting for our edited touched up shots. They captured such a beautiful moment for my boyfriend of four years popped the question. These will be forever memories! Don’t miss out! There are many doing the same but these two were quick efficient professional kind and knew all the best spots. Highly recommend you booking!!!!

The BEST photographer experience in Santorini. I witnessed several other photographers taking pics and none had the skill of Yiannis and his assistant. They truly worked with you to get the best shot. His assistant is patient and got the perfect throws of the dress. I am a HORRIBLE blinker and Yiannis did everything to make sure I got eyes open shots. He was extremely great at communicating before and during the shoot and very accommodating when I was running a little behind. He knew all of the best spots to capture images. The finished product was delivered within the window he promised and the images are stellar! Additionally, he did a great job of capturing group shots and couple shots of my party. Note, if you’re taking pics in the summer, the rooftop you stand on will be HOT. Struggle through your burning feet and follow directions because it’s worth it to get the perfect shot. Really, I couldn’t be happier, don’t book with anyone else!

Yannis was incredible and very professional. He found the most sought after locations with views of the Caldera, and the famous Blue Domes for our shoot and ensured we were comfortable the entire time. He was prompt upon arrival and ensured all arrangements were made ahead of our shoot. Including assisting in recommendations for transportation to the shoot. His female assistant was very helpful to myself in getting the dress fitted and assisting with posing. I would highly recommend Yannis to those looking for unforgettable pictures from the great Santorini!

I did a photoshoot with another photographer a few days before this photoshoot. The next day I was hiking down Skaros Rock and through Imerovigli. I stumbled across Yannis and his assistant, Anastasia, photographing a group of ladies. Hands down the care and attention these women were getting from Yannis and his assistant was night and day in comparison to my photoshoot, so much so, I got Yannis' information from one of the ladies and contacted him through WhatsApp that Thursday evening. I was departing Santorini Friday evening and wasn't sure if he had time to fit me in this late in the game but he not only fit me in for a 2 hour shoot, he also lined me up a professional makeup and hair artist who was amazing. We were chatting about my desires and photoshoot for about 2 hours getting everything in place last hour on Friday. I went to Imerovigli the next morning, the hair/makeup lady, Tasha, came there and got me ready. Yannis' assistant brought 2 dresses and got me fitted. Then I had a full actual 2 hours in various areas of Imerovigli of getting my photos taken. On the first 2-hour photoshoot, we spent more time driving and standing in lines than taking photos. The dresses in my first shoot were made cheap and were ill fitting. Yannis provided nice dresses that could be fitted properly and the fabric was silk and not stretchy polyester with elastic wristbands. It was night and day. It will be 3 weeks before I get my photos from the first photoshoot. I already have the photos from Yannis and love them! I felt like a princess from start to finish!

I had the most amazing experience with Yannis and Anastasia. Everything was perfect from start to finish the communication before the shoot was super clear and professional, which made the whole process stress-free. The dress was absolutely stunning — high quality, spotless, freshly ironed, and felt so comfortable to wear. During the shoot, I felt completely at ease they guided me with poses and made me feel confident the entire time. We shot in the most breathtaking locations I’ve ever seen, and the results? Just WOW😍 The photos were delivered right on time and turned out absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a professional photographer in Santorini Yannis is your guy. I wanted to share my experience with Yannis. While their initial responses were timely, I encountered an issue after the photoshoot was completed. we agreed on price and i made deposit as he asked but The photographer changed the agreed-upon price and requested a higher payment than what was initially confirmed via email. Even after I provided the email confirmation with the original total, they insisted on the increased amount. Additionally, while the pictures were acceptable, the overall quality was not exceptional. Based on this experience, I would not recommend their services.

The day of the shoot, the cable cart broke, and the only way to the top was via walking or donkey. Needless to say I was delayed arriving but no issues as we were in constant communication. Transportation - not included (as stated so read) but Yiannis gave a recommendation that also turned out to be a great experience because the driver Nikos not only drove us to the shoot but after the shoot gave us a spectacular tour of Santorini. I would recommend Nikos and his wife Chrysanthi (contact xondroux@gmail.com). Additional charge but worth it! The experience itself was amazing from Anastasia assuring that the dress fit properly before and during the photo shoot by stopping often to adjust the dress. Yiannis making me feel at ease by coaching me thru posing so the pictures look nature and not stiff. Originally just for me but my husband was able to get in several of the shots. We now have a formal/profession portrait of us! And the pictures…when I say breathtaking..that would be an understatement. I felt how the pictures turned out…Beautiful and Amazing. I wish I could post pictures with this review but the ones Yiannis has posted are reflective of what you will get. The views and the poses all ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR . Please don’t do yourself at disservice and go cheap by booking a photographer and assistant because of the price. For this experience, you truly pay for what you get. Arranged for a 1 hour flying dress photoshoot for my fiance and had an amazing experience. Yannis and his assistant were incredibly professional and gave great direction with how to pose during the shoot. Communication to set everything up was seamless and Yannis was very responsive. The locations he brought us to were stunning and the final photos turned out better than we expected. Would highly recommend.

I came to Santorini to do the flying dress and this experience was everything I wanted it to be. I was lucky and there wasn’t much of a line so I was able to get a few different areas of the photo shoot. Yannis and his assistant did an amazing job even with my flying hair ( it’s a joke). My boyfriend and I will book with him again in Crete. Thank you!!!

The photographer Yannis and his assistant Anastacia were very professional. He even had a great makeup artist linked to details of the shoot as a great option if youre looking to elevate your photo shoot even more. I haven’t seen the pictures yet and I know they are going to be SO good. It was wise of him to suggest an early morning shoot. It was so much more relaxed, I feel like we got more photos out of it because of that. I dont know when I’ll be back in Santorini so to make this purchase and experience is once in a lifetime opportunity that was in good hands by the photographer and assistant.

What a fabulous experience!! Yannis and Anastasiya made me feel so special and relaxed. I fell in love with Yannis's backstory and knew he was the photographer for me. I teach in the gym and am always no makeup and workout clothes. I want to inspire young women to know that being healthy is important and no matter your size or age, you are beautiful. Yannis also took pictures with my Jordans. My students and I collect them so this will be special in my office. Even though I was sweating, Yannis assured me the pictures would be great and I think so!!! In the words of Nike, "JUST DO IT!"

It was the most amazing experience of a photo shoot with flying dress!! Yannis is friendly, professional, and incredibly talented. Their collection of dresses is stunning. Dresses are beautiful, made of good fabric. There is even a separate room where you can change into a dress. Other photographers change into a dress on busy streets. Yannis knows all the best spots for photos, and you won't be disappointed with the results. The photos he took exceeded my expectations and were even better than I had imagined. When my husband and I return to Santorini someday, we definitely hope to book him again!

I love to travel and experience different excursions on every trip. I am very honest about my experience to help others decide if this is right for them. I was so excited about this one. However, there may have been some miscommunication regarding how this would go. My friends and I arrived at the meeting location where we were taken to a 'changing room' to get ready. Little did we know there was no ac in the room, no mirrors or even paper towels. The young lady quickly dressed us (hence the miscommunication) and we were rushed to the location. We had no time to freshen up makeup or hair. We were under the impression that there would be time as we spent the entire day on another excursion so freshening up was greatly needed. The photo shoot was fun, but the poses were limited. We walked to 3 different spots for pictures. Would have liked more but we were pressed for time (I guess). The 1.5 hours for 3 of us included the time to get dressed so be aware. Transportation to and from the location are not included so plan accordingly. I was hoping for some fun (pose) shots but when I got the pictures, I realized I looked the same in all of them. Also, do not expect any touch ups or filters on the final shots. Overall, it was fun (but hot), and the pictures were just ok! I would recommend doing the photo shoot but ask lots of questions first and request a bunch of poses and not just the few the photographer. We found a few looked very staged/stiff and not as natural as we wanted. We were promised 30 pictures in 15 days and that is what we got. I would do it again for sure now that I know what to expect. The team was very nice and responsive prior to the photo shoot.

This shoot was EVERYTHING! Yannis and his assistant were extremely accommodating, fun and professional. I stayed at “On The Rocks” resort, and they met me there. They even assisted me with getting into my dress, in my suite. We shot at several locations, to get some of the best possible views and shots. Some BTS shots were taken, and they’re absolutely stunning! I chose a yellow dress, and it was beautiful. I cannot wait to receive the professional pics in a couple weeks! We worked for about an hour, and it went really fast, but I’m confident that we made a bit of magic. Be prepared to go barefoot (so bring flip flops) and conquer any fear of heights you may have- it’s so worth it! I would recommend this dynamic duo to anyone looking for a great flying dress experience, in Santorini!

The views Santorini in the Imerovigli Village were amazing. Dress simply so you can to you can change with ease. The photographer works with an assistant to give the dresses the best flying options.
