One of the best parts of traveling is getting to experience the area with someone who knows it well! We learned so much from our guide, Theodore and got to try some amazing food as well. He answered all our questions, showed us the best views on the island, and did everything to get the best photos for us! We will never forget him and this experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic private tour of Santorini today! From the moment our guide theadore picked us up, everything was perfectly organized. He welcomed us into a comfortable, air-conditioned car and let us completely tailor the itinerary to our own interests. Throughout the drive, he shared fascinating insights and stories about the island’s history, culture, and hidden gems—drawing from his own experience of growing up here. His knowledge and passion for Santorini really brought the island to life for us. He took us to breathtaking photo spots that we never would have found on our own, and made sure we stayed refreshed with plenty of cold bottled water (three each—such a thoughtful touch in the summer heat!). This was easily one of the best tours we’ve ever taken—personalized, informative, and comfortable from start to finish. We couldn’t recommend it more highly!

He was very informative and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable, including taking the time to show us everything we wanted to see, providing cold beverages throughout the tour, picking out the best photo spots, taking plenty of pictures of us and personally escorting us to the cable car station at the end of the day, ensuring that we reached there in the quickest way. We had the best time with our driver in Greece! He took us to all the local and best spots! He always was on time to pick us up. Had cold water for us because it was so hot. He took all our photos for us throughout the entire ride so we didn’t have to ask random people. He was a perfect tour guide for us on the trip.

Theo took us on a five hour tour of the island of Santorini. The car was clean, modern, equipped with air conditioning and a cooler of cold drinks. There wasn’t much traffic and he brought us to many parts of the island high and low. His English was excellent and he provide helpful background on the various areas we visited. We took a number of photos and he stepped in many times to assist in taking photos of my wife and I. While he brought us to a number of well regarded tourist locations he also suggested and we went to Best Gyro in Parissa for delicious gyro sandwiches. At our request he also brought us to the Santos Winery. While I was initially hesitant about the five hour tour my wife had reserved, it turned out to be a wonderful addition to the trip
Our personal tour guide Theodore was exceptional, being from Santorini he not only had exceptional knowledge he had great customer service tending to any questions or concerns we had. He literally took us from one end of the island to the other, Akrotiri to Oia! He suggested his fav food stops near the Black Sands. He took us to Mt Profiti llia For the view, he explained the agriculture of the island and made sure we avoided the crowds which was our concern. Theodore went over and above making sure that our time to see the island’s “big picture” was crystal clear. We think he and his company deserve the highest rating.

Theodore made sure we saw and found whatever we mentioned to him. We asked for gelato he found us the best in town. We mentioned we forgot a bandana and he stopped multiple places until he found bandanas. We saw the whole island and learned a lot. We loved the black sand beach he took us to. Theodore made everything very interesting. He took extra time to make sure we found food the locals before he left us.

This tour is amazing!! Micheal was our guide and he absolutely made our day unforgettable. He took us to all of the top spots and planned our day to avoid the crowds. He was so patient when we were late due to the cable car lines. He told us not to worry. He completely set our minds at ease. The meeting point was easy to find. An amazing afternoon! Our cruise ship came in late but Michael was flexible and made the absolute most of the few hours we had to spend in Santorini. His easygoing manner, fun spirit and wealth of information were fantastic. We were able to see what we wanted to see, stop for some local specialties and wiggle our toes in the black sand. Theodore guided us through the most beautiful day in Santorini. If you are unfamiliar with the landscape, it’s picturesque yet rugged and steep. Many people have trouble waiting in the cable car line and long lines for photos of the same shots. However, Theodore, with Kallisti Tours, expertly and chivalrously guided us through a lot of that, driving through a lot of the rough terrain to get to the most beautiful views and photo opportunities. We were in a lovely air-conditioned van that he had stocked with ice-cold water. (We still needed to wait an hour for the cable car at the port and needed to buy water and a hat locally, but that was unavoidable.) We told him what we wanted to see: the blue-roofed buildings, the market, the black beach, and the sunset. He knocked those out of the park and filled the drive down the coast with other photo opportunities, teaching us about churches and local life. Theodore lives on the island and answered my questions excellently with many scientific facts about the red and black rocks and sand. He also answered some engineering questions about water supply (very sparse) and residents and industry. He was well-liked all over the island. People treated us with respect and courtesy while with him. He’s a well-mannered, kind, and clever gentleman who helped give us our best experience and avoid the crowds of tourists. Santorini was my favorite day in Greece because of this tour.

We had the most amazing day with Theo in Santorini. Everything was worked around our family of 5 and Theo was always organising extra things for us…the perfect spot for a photo that crowds couldn’t access, sun beds in a beach club (normally 60 euros) for us to use instead of table service for lunch. He was best tour guide we have ever had!!
