What a fantastic tour we had. We saw many beautiful sites and were given such personal insight about life on Santorini.

Marcus our driver was fantastic! He drove ua to well known spots, local favorites and best kept secret places. He was a great photographer too!!! Very courteous, helpful and prompt. He contributed a lot on our great experience of Santorini. Booking was super easy, AA Santorini Travel communicated well and van was very clean. Water was offered too! We had the most amazing time! Our tour guide, Luigi, was super informative and friendly. Being a lifetime local he knew everything about the island, how to navigate so that we could see everything that we wanted to see and even took us to a local restaurant that he frequents. Our gyros were delicious and the place was nice and not touristy. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Luigi. Book this excursion…..you won’t be disappointed.

Manos was an excellent guide - extremely informative, friendly, helpful and everything you could ask for in a guide. Our visit around the island of Santorini was brilliant and we saw places we have never seen before. The transport provided was top notch.

We booked AA Santorini Travel based on a recommendation from someone in Melbourne, and we are so glad we did. We were visiting Santorini for the day as part of a cruise and travelling with another couple, so there were four of us in total. From the moment we met our guide Vanessa at the top of the cable car at 10:00 am, we knew we were in great hands. Vanessa was engaging, extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience so much fun. She shared wonderful insights about Santorini, its history , food and culture, while making sure we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop. We chose the 4-hour tour, which included the beautiful villages of Firostefani, Imerovigli and Oia. We also visited Monolithos Black Beach, where we had the most amazing swim in the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea, and travelled up to the magnificent Prophet Elijah Mountain for incredible views. The tour was perfectly organised, relaxed and gave us a wonderful taste of Santorini beyond just the famous viewpoints. We highly recommend AA Santorini Travel and especially Vanessa as a guide. If you are visiting Santorini, whether from a cruise ship or staying on the island, this is a company you can trust to make your day truly memorable.

Santorini is really beautiful and George, our tour guide, gave us a wonderful tour of the island and took us to a local seafood restaurant right on the ocean, which was delicious and authentic.

I highly recommend AA Santorini Travel. Astri was amazing by to deal with, he was in contact with us before and after the excursion. He genuinely wanted to know how it went and to ensure we were satisfied. Astri even reached out the next day to wish a great holiday. Because of this we used AA for our transport back to the Port. Our tour guide Manos, for our private 4 hour tour was amazing. He was very informative, patient with all our questions and he made it so much fun. Manos went over and above with any special requests we had.

Our tour of Rome was amazing! We had a fantastic tour guide who made the experience even more enjoyable. The only suggestion I would make is to provide a cooler with bottled water, especially during the tour. It would have been greatly appreciated! Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

LOOK no further! If you want a fun, beautiful, educational and charming tour of Santorini, BOOK this tour. We booked a small private group, (4) Couples, and our guide, Sara, was exquisite! She had perfect communication, her English was excellent, and she shared the geographic map, allowing our group to see where we were navigating. This complete tour was the best 5 hours spent! We saw things that a regular tour would not have seen, the monastery, red and black sand beach, caldera, and ancient ruins. All blended together with a young woman who really knew the island. What made it special was the sharing of pictures on her iPAD, which furthered our learning experience. She even took us to the BEST gelato on the island. 5 STARS! Well done, Sara!

Our tour guides were Sara and her Dad Asteri. They are locals who have a passion to show off their island and their country. We pretty much covered the entire island and they were always pointing things out and making interesting commentary. They both spoke English very well. As an added bonus, they took us to a Taverna located on a black sand beach and we ate local fare and I just had to try a Yellow Donkey beer. All said, an amazing day.

Our tour guide, Theo, was absolutely amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, making the entire experience enjoyable and memorable. My only concern was the price, which seemed significantly higher than comparable tours offered by local operators. I’m unsure whether the pricing is determined by the tour company or includes additional fees from Viator. Additionally, Viator has not honored its advertised Lowest Price Guarantee, which has been disappointing. While I highly recommend our guide and thoroughly enjoyed the tour itself, I would encourage others to compare prices and consider booking directly with local operators before reserving through Viator.

Fabulous tour with Zeus as our guide.

The tour was amazing with Zeus as our guide. He took us all over the island and explained everything. He also is a great photographer and took many great pictures of my wife and I. I would definitely book this tour with Zeus and Astri. In addition this company stayed in cotact with you which made it seamless!

The guide was focused on taking pictures not listening to what we wanted. We booked the tour telling them I couldn't do much walking. I was recovering from cancer surgery. This was not a problem. But he kept taking our phone telling us to pose for pictures. I was not feeling that photogenic so didn't want to but he just kept going. At one point he was telling us about the volcano and history. I asked if he had heard of Mt St Helens, since I was there when it erupted. He laughed said just a week or so ago someone told him they own land on Mt St. Helen and it just disappeared. Like it was joke or lies.

Zeus was a great guide. We got to see all the spots on the island we wanted. Perfect tour

Akis is the best tour guide you’d ever have. He’s a true local who knows his history, his routes and understood the assignment. His personality is amazing and he was so patient with us. He was courteous, treated us like royalty and because of him, our experience in Santorini was the best we had in Greece, period! He answered all our questions and now we are even telling others about all we learned from him! If you can ask for a tour guide, ask for him! He’s the best!!!

Our tour guide, Zeus, was incredibly knowledgeable about Santorini and its history. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the island and visiting its many points of interest. He was also kind enough to take photos of us along the way, making the experience even more memorable. He even suggested an incredible sunset view from Santo Winery. 🥂🤩

We had an excellent private tour with Giorgos. (Sorry if I spelt his name wrong.) He was very friendly and provided a lot of interesting information about the island. He provided a great balance of leading us in the areas that needed explanation or letting us roam on our own to soak up the atmosphere. We had a great afternoon touring around the island. Our guide Mario was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and made the trip a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend.

Our experience with this Viator tour was disappointing and fell short of expectations. Two destinations were removed from the original itinerary without informing us in advance. Despite clearly requesting that the itinerary be followed, except for Fira town where we were staying, the promised experience was not delivered. We expect better communication, transparency and professionalism from a tour operator. Travellers book these experiences based on the advertised itinerary and deserve to receive what was promised or be informed of changes beforehand. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and failure to deliver the agreed itinerary significantly affected our experience.

Our tour with George was all we could ask for and more. We would highly recommend this tour to see more than you expect on Santorini. George asked what we wanted to do and see and customised the tour specifically for us and it was perfect. We had an amazing first day on Santorini and it was all because of George and his fantastic knowledge of the island. He shared his expertise willingly and also gave us suggestions for the rest of our stay.

The walking tour seemed taxing enough but I somehow felt relaxed during the actual tour. We were one of the early groups with access to the Acropolis and beating the crowd is definitely a great idea! Dimitry, our tour guide is very knowledgeable about the history of Greece, particularly of the Acropolis. He made sure everyone feels relaxed and caught up with the tour itself.

The meeting place was the top of the cable cars in Santorini. My BF and I arrived early, so we walked around and did a little shopping. I got a text from the tour operator asking if we could start at 1:30 instead of at 1 pm. I responded and asked if we could start on time as expected. Leta came by a few minutes later. She explained that the guide had been delayed. She was cordial and apologetic. We spoke to her for a while, then she said our guide was ready. She escorted us through the shopping area to a road where our van had finally arrived. Our guide, Akis, also apologized for the delay, but assured us we would see ALL of Santorini that we wanted to see. He delivered on that promise! Akis knew of shortcuts and back roads that allowed us to avoid the crowds and get the very best vantage points of the island. We were so impressed with his knowledge of the people and the history of Santorini. He told us he grew up there and had inherited his Grandfather’s home. He expects that same home to be passed on to his children. Akis also took us to a beautiful restaurant right on the water, where we enjoyed genuine Greek cuisine and very fresh fish! We got the best pictures of all the sights. We later learned about “GT”, or Greek Time, from another guide. It seems being “on time” in Greece is anywhere from a half hour to two hours from the proposed time! A cultural difference to be sure. A fabulous tour and would highly recommend!

Astri & Sara met us at upper cable car location in Fira to start & end our day in a well-maintained Mercedes-Benz van. They provided excellent customer service, history, and little fun facts. They ensured the tour was personalized, but we loved all their ideas. Sadly the weather brought an unexpected wintery day, so that limited us a little, but the sun was out for Oia! They were worth every minute and every euro! Hopefully we will return and will contact them to help us find new amazing locations to explore!! Thank you so much!!

Georgios was great, he was friendly and knowledgeable of the island! We were late to start because of weather difficulties and he waited for us and made sure we got the full experience. Took us to local spots. Highly recommend.

We shared a half-day private road trip of Santorini with the charming and knowledgable local, George. By the end of it we were wanting him to come visit us in Oakland, California! In other words, he was great and we would recommend seeing his version of this beautiful island.
