Experience Santorini: Wine Tasting Small Group Tour

We had a really enjoyable time exploring Pyrgos and some quieter spots around Santorini. The small-group setup made the day feel relaxed, and we got to see beautiful places without dealing with large crowds. The winery visit was a real highlight, especially with the panoramic views around us. Lunch was also thoughtfully arranged. The team knew the island well and kept everything comfortable and easy throughout the day. 🇬🇷

Our family had a fantastic wine tour with Santorini Tours. Elias was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every stop enjoyable. We visited beautiful wineries, learned about the island’s volcanic vineyards and local wine traditions, and tasted a great selection of wines. The tour was well organized, unhurried, and enjoyable from start to finish. It was one of the highlights of our Santorini visit.

very fun way to spend a lovely afternoon in fira! my partner and I really enjoyed learning a bit more about the wines produced in the island and the history behind it. the wines were very good too! our tour guides/drivers were really friendly and even stoped on a bakery on the way to show us the traditional baked goods of santorini

The wine tour was fun and insightful. The tour folks picked us up on time in a super comfortable van. They were funny, but knowledgeable. The 3 wineries we visited were all great on their own style. We all have different opinions and preferences. However, overall, they were nice. I definitely recommend the tour. Perfect for couples and small group of friends.

Wonderful tour well curated and excellent choices of wine. From the pickup to the drop off, together with the other couples we were with this was a really great trip.

Our guide was amazing! He used to work at a winery and had so much additional insight for us. We had a small group of 6 of us total and visited 3 wineries. Each winery had a different feel and taught us the history of wines on the island and their own wineries. We appreciated the variety of wines and snack pairings. Our guide definitely enhanced this experience and we would recommend it to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed the three (+brewery) wineries we visited on this tour. We had a small group and saw the history of the wine. There was a nice selection of whites, few reds and sweet wines. The little tapas/cheese at each winery was an added treat! We were on our honeymoon and would recommend this tour. Note, the car, while very nice with leather, had limited A/C so it was a little warm to travel in.

Our tour guide was really nice and friendly, Themestoklis was knowledgeable about the area and the history of Santorini. The staff in the different locations were very informative and helpful. It was a wonderful afternoon and time well spent.

We had a wonderful tour of three local wineries. We particularly enjoyed the art winery. The wines were excellent, and they were associated with beautiful art throughout the historic winery. Our driver, Themistoklis, was very knowledgeable about Santorini and served as a local guide in addition to driving us to each of the wineries. Very nice tour.

We were picked up at our hotel by our wonderful local guide Themistoklas who not only drive us to the lively wineries but have us history on the island & the Greek language. In addition, he offered to take us to an additional spot that casual visitors to Santorini are not familiar with-the Black Beach on the east side of the island. We so enjoyed our time & felt we know Santorini so much better.

Mary and Alex were excellent guides through a variety of Santorini’s multitude of impressive wineries, each one shown with its own charm and history/innovation. The wines were fantastic, the people friendlier than ever, and the views gorgeous. Thank you very much to Mary and Alex for making an unforgettable experience as pleasant as possible!

The picture in the ad is deceiving. We did not taste wine on a cliff. The vineyards were nice but the wine selections were poor. All 3 winerys served the same wines and cheese plates. Michael our guide was great. Overall , not impressed.

Out wine tour was better than expected. Our guide is a Level 2 Somlier and was a wealth of information. And we loved the 3 wineries we visited. Very informative and fantastic wines. We highly recommend this tour.

The winery was lovely. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. Pietro was a marvelous host and very passionate about the winery and winemaking. We really enjoyed the vineyard and winery your. The wine tasting was fun and informative. We met some lovely travelers who share our interest in wines of the world. Highly recommend!

Our guide Maria was super friendly and knowledgeable! This was our favorite activity of our trip. We tasted lots of white wines, a few dessert wines and a couple of liquors as well. All of the wineries had small bites of food as well.

Very memorable trip. We learned a lot and got to enjoy some incredible wines. It was a quieter day and our group was only 4 people. We saw 3 wineries and each was great. The Assyrtiko wines were lovely, and we even shipped some back home to the states. Definitely recommend this exrursion.

Pickup was perfect, small group of 3 couples, guide was great. We enjoyed all 3 wineries with their own distinct story and wines. Definitely a must to learn about the wine culture of the island.

Very enjoyable tour with a knowledgeable guide. Great value for money. Very comfortable vehicle. Came during off season when many wineries were closed but this company was able to find 3 excellent wineries to visit which were open. Highly recommend.

My son and I went to Santorini in December 2023. We went on this group wine tour, and because it was the off season, we ended up having the group wine tour to ourselves, just the two of us! Our tour guide Mary, and our driver Arturos, ended up being the same guides as the day before for which we took a group tour of the local sites. It was great that we got the same guides, since they could set up both days for our tours to ensure we didn't miss anything important! My son and I wanted to look at Akritori and the Red beach, so our tour guide Mary said that they could pick us up from there instead of our hotel. So we bussed to Akritori and then did our own exploring in the morning. We then got picked up to go to our first wine tasting on this tour. Our tour guide even picked up some gluten free snacks for me because I couldn't eat the bread! In total, we went to three wineries. Although many wineries were closed to tourists during the off season, Mary knew where to take us and was an amazing tour guide, and all the wineries were lovely! She told us the history of the wineries, each quite different. We were very fulfilled with this tour! After the tour, they even took us to a local site that showed off the sunset and got to take some amazing pictures. Then she recommended a great restaurant that my son and I ended our day with; we had a roast lamb that had the Vinsanto wine based on it (a delicious dessert wine that we got to try on our tour), which topped off the day! It was really a special day.

George was funny and interactive and also very kind to us taking us on a great tour!! We highly recommend touring with him. The wine was good too.

Was a great Santorini tour. We basically saw the entire island and had a great tour guide who explained everything to us! Took us to all the best photo spots too. Really was a great tour. Only wish we had been able to taste the wine, as was promised in the tour explanation

We went on this wine tasting for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! The three vineyards we visited were all very unique and all served delicious wine. Our driver, Fotios Tsevas, was charismatic and great to talk to! All in all a great experience.

We did the wine tasting tour and cooking class and had a great time! Mary was our guide and she was lovely and so knowledgeable. We did this on our honeymoon and booked a group tour but ended up being the only ones which was fun. We had some extra time so Mary walked us between towns on the path and taught us a lot of history about the island. We had such a good time during the cooking class and wine tasting at Anhydrous and the staff were very fun. Then we went to the Art Space Wines in a cave and had some great wine! Overall wonderful experience.

Wine was good but tour guide did very little and shared very little about the vineyards and area. Seemed as if she couldn’t wait for the tour to be over before it even started. Wineries were no big deal

This was an awesome private tour. It was the wife and I with another couple all day long. And even though we didn’t make it back to the cliff sights in Oía for the sunset. We still pulled off in a perfect area on the way to enjoy the sunset.

Our tour guide John (Giannis) was amazing and cultivated a fantastic tour of three wineries that represented great variety of Santorini wines with great snacks. He made the tour fun and engaging.

We really had a great time with Fotios visiting the 3 wineries. All were different and the backdrop was stunning with many amazing photo opportunities. A final trip south to see the sunset by the lighthouse. Perfect birthday treat. Thank you and would highly recommend this tour and guide.

A great experience and Yiannis was super friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason why it's missing a star is that the experience felt a little rushed due to a few on the trip having to be back to get on their cruise ship. Such a great bunch of people, lots of laughs and fun. Would highly recommend!!

This tour was a real delight. Very well organized and our guide Mary was exceptional. She has a wonderful presence and is a joy to listen to. She is knowledgeable and sweet, the tour itself was wonderful, but the true treasure of our experience was Mary, she is a gem. Oh and you must get a hug from Esmeralda at the Art Space Winery…she is sweeter than any wine! Tell her Doug sent you.

The driver (Fotios) was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke fluent English. He was on-time, the car was comfortable (August), clean, and perfect. Pick-up was just a few blocks below the cable station in Fira town. Went to Estate Argyros, Artemis Karamolegos, Avantis - Anhydrous, and Santo Wines. Each was amazing in their own way. Never felt rushed. Driver convinced us to add Santo Wines even though we had a tight schedule. Was well worth the visit. Highly recommend this tour.

Did the wine tour as a group of 3 friends (total group size was 9). We visited 3 wineries over the course of the afternoon (plus saw some art). The wine tastings were great and at each stop we had plenty of cheese, olives and other snacks too. Mary was a good tour guide and communicated with the group well, even calling in advance of our pick up to let us know when she would arrive. Would recommend this as a great tour for wine lovers!

An absolutely amazing experience! We took a ferry from Mykonos and it ran late. Our tour guide, Mary, helped us find our way to the second winery on time and even gave us a complimentary glass of wine while we waited for the rest of the group to arrive. The two wineries we did go to were delicious and Mary and the other guides were extremely knowledgeable! We bought wine at the last winery and they provided international shipping!

We had an amazing wine tour with Fotios. He messaged us before the tour to arrange the pick up and picked us up from our hotel. He drove safely and was such a nice guy. The wineries were great. At the end of the tour Fotios took us to see Santorini sunset from a beautiful secret location and drove us back home. What a great trip. I would definitely recommend!

Such a nice tour!! We loved it - would definitely recommend. The host was great and they picked us up and it was a relatively small group and the vineyards were lovely!

Loved the tour and the places we went but at the very end the driver told me I owed him another $100 euros - while I was planning on tipping him that wasn't professional nor had the company contacted me about anything similar prior to the tour - so that was very disappointing.
