My wife has mobility issues, so i sent an email to Makeda's Travel, the tour company. Maria responded promptly, and efficiently, answering all our questions, and giving us reassurance. She went above and beyond, to ensure we had a magical tour of Santorini. Yannis our Tour Guide, was very knowledgable, and passionate about the island, and keen to pass that on. Our only regret is we did not have sufficient time in Oia, we ticked The Blue Dome photographs, the rest of our time there, was a bit of a blur. Overall the tour is excellent value for money. Makeda's Travel clearly care deeply about their clients. I would strongly recommend them!

We picked this tour up at the last minute for our last day of Santorini. We had an amazing time. Great opportunity for great family photos l. The monastery was very interesting and had an amazing view of the entire island at the top of the mountain. We ended up at the black beach for the end and were able to stay past our scheduled departure time as we were catching a flight back to Athens in the early evening. They were very accommodating to make sure that somebody was back to pick us up and take us directly to the airport. They even watched our luggage for us. Our tour guide Daniel was amazing. He really catered towards the kids that were on the tour and made it interesting for them. He had lots of iterating background on the sights and even for Greece in general.

We absolutely loved our time with Yainni. So knowledgable of the island full of facts and history for Santorini. The price alone is worth the visit to Oia with Yainni, knowing the best spots and escaping before it gets too busy like the nightmare photos & videos I’ve seen. Thank you so much!

Wow! We can’t say enough. Daniel was an amazing tour guide! His passion for history, archaeology and human geography came through with his articulate and fascinating narrative as we toured the island. He customized the tour to our needs and our group, which consisted of 5 kids 12 and under. We would call him again if we are ever back in Santorini and wish we had more time to further explore the sites he told us about. We highly recommend the monastery, black sand beach, and walking tour of Megalochori, and old town Fira. We skipped Oia because we did that on our own, but Daniel told us all about it on the drive. Our visit to Santorini would have been incomplete without this tour!

Daniel led our group of 4 adults and 5 children on the 5 hour group tour around the island. He was so extremely knowledgeable and accommodating during our tour and made it very engaging for our children, stopping at a bakery, the beach and a cave dwelling among other things. While we adults learned such interesting facts about life in Santorini in modern and ancient times, the kids were able to engage as well. I came away with so much more understanding of the architecture, lifestyle, and history of this beautiful island. Highly recommend this tour to anyone. Stops included Megalachori, Imervoglini, monestary, and the black sand beach. Thank you, Daniel for an amazing, affordable experience for our family.

Amazing tour with Emmanuel! He is a wealth of knowledge. Emmanuel was very informative, giving the background and history of the sights. We definitely saw the best of the best in Santorini . Everything was well paced including a stop for gelato and traditional Greek pastries. Seeing the grape vines in a circular shape was very interesting. We covered the entire island including the highest spot and the ruins Santa Irini. We would definitely recommend this tour, especially with Emanuel!

Great half day tour. We were able to see from one end of the island to the other and then some with our guide. Much more than we could have on our own, well worth the price!

Spiros our tour guide did a great job at getting us aquatinted with the island. Showed us the spots for best photos ops in Oía and the other villages.

Had a great time on this tour with Spiros. There were only 4 of us and he catered for my mum who had had an accident the previous day so couldn't walk very far. Saw all the sights

It was an incredible experience. Our guide knew Greek history so its a plus and makes the tour so much interesting. Hemos name was Spiri

So we were very disappointed with this experience. We were supposed to meet at 10 am and have 5 hours trip however we were 4 people in our group and wrere suppous to meet another 2 people who booked this excursion. They also happened to be on our ship however for some reason they were not making it on time . Instead of just going forward with our trip we went for the first stop and after spending there about 30 minutes instead of one hour and fifteen minutes we went all the way back to fira to pick them up! As a result we were so rushed through all the excursion we even missed one stop and didn’t even have 30 minutes to eat!!!! Would never booked it have we knew that something like that even possible! We had nothing to do with the other 2 people being late! Why we had to pay a price!!! The guide was nice but I don’t think he was a professional. We had to ask questions all the time!

We booked a semi private tour and Makedas Travel company upgrade us and made it private with no extra charge so it already started the best way. But the highlight of the tour was Yianni the tour guide who was one of the best things that happened to us to this trip to Greece. Extremely entertaining and very knowledgeable about Santorini, Yianni gave us 5 hours of pure joy and laughs... 5 stars highly recommended!!!

This tour was a lot of fun and I would really recommend! We were late to our excursion (cable car chaos) and our tour guide was super accomodating and waited for us. This tour is a nice way to navigate multiple stops in Santorini

We were lucky to be given a private tour by Yianni as there was overbooking in the group tour. He was very knowledgeable and took us all over the island. We went from Oia to Akrotiri Lighthouse, stopping along the way at different points of interest. Totally recommendable

Good itineraries but the guide did not kept us aware of places were about to see and visit, she spent most of her time on her cellphone

Spires guide the best!! Adapted to out schedule and wants. A Mercedes van with air conditioning that took us to the best places in the island in 4h, stop for a swim included

What a great day! Loved that we were able to visit so many places! Our tour guide, Chrysa, knew all the perfect picture spots and even helped us take pictures of our entire family. My son kept asking her about the island and she was very kind in answering all his questions. Our tour was private since there was only the 5 of us in the van, which made it so much more special. The kids wanted to eat ice cream and Chrysa pointed us to a little spot that was amazing. We ended the day at Perissa Beach and Chrysa recommended a great restaurant to eat. Thank you so much for the best day in Santorini!

Great tour of Santorini. Spyros was very helpful and informative. Lots of good photo opportunities at key locations on the island, and lovely swim at the end.

Spiro was amazing, forgot my swim suit and he ensured I get one, which I got for a bargain price and then enjoyed a swim at the Black Beach Perivolos- which was totally amazing. Totally accommodating and professional Thank you thoroughly enjoyed x

Spiros was very good , he gave us very good information and very helpful . He waited and told us to wait in the car till our hotel transport to come as it was very hot to wait outside .

We landed on Santorini early and couldn’t check into our hotel until the afternoon. Our guide, Spiros, picked us up from the airport and took us across the whole of the island. He was very informative on the history of the island and how to navigate the island. By the end of the tour we felt like we could navigate the island by ourselves! Great tour!

First of all, you guide and driver Yanni was excellent and managed to tailor this excursion to meet our needs. You will feel like you have visited most of the important areas on the island of Santorini. You will enjoy all the interesting stories about the island and its spectacular views. If you enjoy small group, this excursion will not disappoint you; we were 6 persons and really enjoyed ourselves.

This is our second trip to Santorini and our tour guide Yianni made our visit exceptional! He is kind polite, an excellent story teller, takes great interest in his guests and loves sharing his knowledge about the island and Greece in general. Elias monastery was a beautiful spot & Spyros took us personally to the church. Akrotini was so interesting. Spyros was a wonderful guide who took us to both beaches and places we had never been before. Highly recommended!

I love the whole Santorini experience because of them. Its hassle free and fun. Our tour guid Yanni was the best, he is knowledgeable and very warm. He took us to the best places. He also recommended us local nice restaurants. I will definitely book them again when I come back.
