Best Of Santorini Highlights Private 5 Hours Tour

This tour is excellent for seeing all the highlights of Santorini. With our knowledgeable guide Joanna, we visited Oia (on a quiet Sunday morning before the crowds and the queues), Imerovigli, Firastefani, Megalochori, Pyrgos and the monastery at the highest point of the island. We didn’t have to go searching for those iconic scenes you see on social media, and we didn’t miss any of them either. Joanna knew the best photo spots and we have returned home with some great pictures and happy memories. At the end of the tour, Stelios, who had driven us around smoothly and safely, dropped us off at our chosen location. The tour was certainly the highlight of our holiday and we would highly recommend Stelios and Joanna.

Our day started out a bit cloudy and gloomy, but our guide, George, picked us up right on time and we headed out on our adventure in a lovely Mercedes van. George gave us the opportunity to design our own tour, making suggestions and recommendations along the way. We filled the five hours with stops at the Three Bells of Fira, beautiful Imerovigli and Oia and the Monastery of Prophet Elias, where we enjoyed spectacular panoramic views. We also explored the traditional village of Megalichori and visited Venetsanos winery where we enjoyed incredible views of the Caldera. George was accommodating throughout the day, adjusting to the weather while helping us experience Santorini‘s beautiful scenery, Historic, churches, traditional villages, and local wine culture. The weather eventually cleared, making a memorable day even better. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with George and would highly recommend this Tour!

George was an exceptional host! He met us right on time and had a wonderful day planned for us. The day started with the obligatory Instagram photos, and they were spectacular! Then George took us to some less crowded, lesser-known destinations. Those spots truly made the trip worthwhile. From the monastery to the out-of-the-way vineyard—with its great food, wine, and views—he really nailed it. His knowledge of the island was enlightening as we drove from one end to the other. We topped off the day with a fantastic meal overlooking the harbor. A big shout-out and thank-you to George and everyone at Santorini Impressive Tours for their hospitality today!

We just concluded a tour with Giannis-Driver and had an absolutely fantastic time learning about the rich history of Greece! We started at the oldest private winery on the island and had a great tour followed by an excellent wine tasting. Then we visited a few stops on our way to Oia, our final stop and were able to take beautiful pictures along the way thanks to Giannis. Would absolutely do it again and appreciate our guide so much for his hospitality!

We had a really enjoyable trip in Santorini with Gina as our guide. She was friendly, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable, and made everything she told us interesting and easy to follow. We learnt so much about Santorini, its history and the local area, and Gina was happy to answer questions along the way. It felt relaxed rather than rushed, and her personality really added to the experience. A lovely way to see and understand more of this beautiful island. We had such an amazing experience with Santorini Tours! I had been communicating with Stelios, the owner, for months before our vacation, and he was always very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with through WhatsApp. Planning a tour for a big group can be stressful, especially when arriving from a cruise ship, but Stelios made everything so easy for us. We were a group of 18 people, and Stelios upgraded our semi-private tour to a fully private experience before we even arrived. On the day of our tour, he also arranged a large bus so that all 18 of us could stay together, which we really appreciated. They were also incredibly accommodating. We made a last-minute request to spend a little more time at the Black Beach so we could swim, and they happily adjusted our tour for us. It made our day even more memorable! Our guide, Elektra, was amazing - so friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. Our driver was wonderful as well and made us feel comfortable and safe throughout the entire tour. From the communication months before our trip to the actual day of the tour, everything was handled so well. They truly went above and beyond to make our Santorini experience special. I can't say enough about how fantastic my tour was! Nikki was the friendliest and most knowledgeable tour guide and Tonya, our driver, was so thoughtful. I learned so much and Nikki made sure I saw all the highlights I wanted to see. She took pictures of me everywhere. I haven't downloaded them to post one but they were great! I just felt so comfortable and cared for. As an older woman traveling alone, I so very much appreciated their attentiveness. The restaurant where I had lunch was spectacular and we even managed to squeeze in the winery, which was also very accommodating! I definitely recommend this tour and this company!

We had a half day private tour with Joanna and driver Angelo. It was a relaxing tour and we had the options to visit a few places. We decided to visit a vineyard, taste some wines and see some of the sights. we visited Fira, Pyrgos and Megalochori, which were away from the hustle and bustle of Oia, which we were based in. Joanna was very knowledgeable and brought us through the winding lanes of the ancient villages.

This private tour was amazing! We had the beautiful Joanna who showed us around the island and gave us lots of information on the way. Our driver was also really lovely with cold water to welcome us and along the way, because it was hot! I would highly recommend this private tour. It truly was exceptional and made our time in Santorini wonderful.

We booked Stelios and Stefano for a tour of Santorini. They were both very courteous, patient and knowledgeable. They gave us information on the island’s history, its people, took us to prime photo spots and snapped a few group photos, gave us recommendations on food and told us how to avoid tourist traps. Stelios was recommended to me by the property management and I am thankful for that! He coordinated airport transfers and other transfers within the island during our stay. If you are looking for someone that is trustworthy and knowledgeable, definitely book Stelios! We cannot wait to return and he will be one of the first calls we make in planning our return trip!

Our guide, Costas, picked us up and a delightful day began. We walked through Oia and enjoyed the beautiful views despite the cruise ship visitors packing the town. As the drive to Oia began Costas began sharing all sorts of tidbits about the islands history, the caves we passed and the vegetation. His passion for Santorini and its history was apparent all day. My two favorite parts to the trip were the tour of the village of Megalochori and our views of the Caldera at the red beach. Costas was an exceptional guide full of information. There was no break for lunch in the five hour tour but we stopped twice for water and snacks. At the second stop my sister and I bought stuff for a light lunch and ate it sitting on rocks at the red beach Caldera. Altogether this was an amazing day. We saw such a great representation of life in Santorini and learned so much. Costas was a terrific guide.

We had an opportunity to do a tour with the cruise we were on but this would only include a shuttle to Oia where we would be dropped off and then a shuttle back. Instead a group of us booked with these guys and am so grateful. First, they were so responsive when I contacted them and answered all my questions quickly. They understood we only had about 3 hours in port and assured me they would get us back in time to board our ship. Jenny was our tour guide and meet us as we got off the tender. She was pure joy from the get go. She listened to what we wanted and understood our time constraints so we immediately set off. Her enthusiasm for the sites and views was amazing. She also enjoys photography and took many fabulous photos of our group for us. In the end we did go to firostefani, Oia and Imerovigli topped off with a quick stop at a winery where we did a bit of shopping. The night was absolutely beautiful and we got many spectacular photos. We learned some of the history and wished we could have spent more time with Jenny on the island of Santorini. I will definitely hang on to her information and book with her again if I go back. So, so glad we did not do the ship excursion. No comparison!!!

Booking the tour and customising was easy and Stelios was very quick to respond to messages. We are staying in Oia so we were able to change the tour inclusions and visit a beach. Stelios was very helpful that we also booked our transfers with him and he gave us a discount as we were there on off season. There was a group of 12 of us who didn’t know much about the island or where to go. Stelio’s however drove us around for 5 hours and we got to explore the island! We explored beautiful locations that he highly recommended for us to see. Each one was beautiful and unique in their own way. We took pictures, shopped, ate at amazing restaurants, and pulled over for some breathtaking views. We had such a great time and he told us cool facts about the island as well. The next day, we asked if he was able to drive us around once more and he was there within two hours. We had another amazing day and he even gave each of us a little souvenir.
