I went over there 8 months ago The service was friendly but nowhere to be found if you needed something 2/5, The room was decent to bad... But the view frome the balcony and the garden wers amazing on my apartment 3/5 The location was good near to Sarti and to beaches. Their own beach and bar were closed. It was also difficult to find a parking 4/5. So 3/5 stars in general. If you don't have a huge budget go for it.
Woke up to a wasp on my neck in the room that proceeded to sting me awake when i reached for it in my sleep... There were 5 more wasps inside the room coming from the window area and above the bed, must be a nest nearby Location is great right next to the beach, but the maintenance is lacking, seems to me a place that used to be great 10 years ago but has been declining. Restaurant is not open either
Two Standards with a bait and switch I paid $175 anticipating a comfortable apartment—but instead got a poorly maintained unit that didn’t match the listing photos. It feels like the property operates on two standards: one with polished pictures and perfect ratings, and another neglected version for other guests. Key Issues: Apartment was rundown: overflowing shower drain was what finally pushed me to complain. I ignored the wobbly toilet seat, snapped towel rack, no proper shower head handle. No toiletries so I used hand soap. The restaurant appears permanently closed. The kitchenette is bare. Booking.com-listed photos and reviews were misleading, giving a false sense of quality (e.g. 8.5 average rating does not reflect real experience). I raised these issues both online and on-site. I was told someone could take a look at the drain—but asking guests to perform maintenance during vacation is unacceptable. No alternative room was offered that was not having issues. Broader Pattern: After my complaint, I came to Google and it echoed my experience. Other travelers report arriving to accommodations that bear little resemblance to the advertised photos. Summary: Dual-standard accommodations: one matches photos, the other does not. Misleading visuals and reviews create false expectations. The apartment was neglected and maintenance issues were prevalent. Recommendation: Booking.com must enforce stricter verification of photos and recent guest images and ensure reviews reflect recent stays honestly. Until then, future guests are gambling which version they will get.
It was our first time in Sarti, Greece. The smiling and helpful staff (Dimitri) of Theano Apartments where we stayed was wonderful, the location and the sea were amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to visit and stay in such a beautiful place.
Made a reservation via email in February for end of July beginning of August. Two weeks before arrival wrote to the owners to confirm everything is OK. Surprise, surprise when we arrived we were told that something went wrong with reservations made via Booking and our apartment is not available. I guess the guests via Booking were more important as they could leave a review on the platform, so it didn’t matter that we booked in February. We were offered alternative apartment which I really hope that in general they are not offering to guests. It was simply disgusting, not to mention any similarities with the photos on their site or Booking. I am so sorry I didn’t take a photo of the bathroom to upload to this review. The whole place looked dirty, messy and rundown. Not worth any money if you would like to have a decent vacation. There was no way we were staying in it so we simply went home (not possible to book something else at the peak of the season, everything was booked). I had to cancel our family vacation for 8 people! So please, please avoid at all cost!!
