Hotel Silken La Hacienda de Don Juan has so much character! The interior design fits the aesthetic of the building perfectly it has that "timeless classic" feel where you can tell every detail was carefully thought through and I had to take a "cinematic" picture as soon as I entered my room! The rooms are charming, spacious, and extremely well-kept, with great overall cleanliness. I also really appreciated the good-sized closet for storing luggage. Location-wise, it’s super convenient: right near the bus station and just a few minutes walk from the lively town center. The breakfast area is equally charming, and the breakfast itself offered good quality and variety. I absolutely loved the overall atmosphere and would 100% book a stay here again!

This hotel has no AC, and the spa was completely out of service while we stayed. We had to leave the windows open in order to sleep due to the heat and it allowed a bunch of bugs to get in. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I would say a 2 star hotel at most. Completely overpriced for what was offered. Our room also smelled pretty bad as well
We'd visited Llanes in 2017 so it was great to return for our last night in Spain before heading home on the ferry from Santander. Hotel was nice but thought it was a Spa Hotel?? No sign of that. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Building is quite grand, built in the style of the local "Indianos" mansions but the bar was very small, but we had our drinks in the garden. Didn't try the food so can't comment on food or Restaurant. Our room was on the 2nd floor, comfortable enough but restricted headroom cos of eaves which we don't like, and no air conditioning which was very necessary in early June🥵🥵 But overall a nice place to base for a walk around the town.😁😁
The biggest thing that lets this hotel down is the lack of Air Conditioning. The room I had was very small, and has severely reduced headroom. The common parts reception, lounge,corridors etc look very nice. The location is good,just a short walk into town.
We booked a stay based on a truly false website. We called and VERIFIED that we would have a oceanview, a working shower and AC. Instead we had to carry our luggage up three flights of steps. No AC, a 32 inch television with no streaming service, a shower in which the shower head broke while showering. An overpriced dinner with again no AC. A rude and incompetent receptionists whose "solution" was to provide me with a fan of which I had to carry up three flights of stairs. The service was horrific. We had an appointment for two massages and waited for 5 hours in town and then come back to the hotel and was told that our appointment was canceled. Unbelievable and totally would not recommend.
