Excellent evening visit and meal with Turistik and guide Carlos. Atmospheric tour of te vineyard and winery. Great meal. Overall excellent experience.
We took the evening winery tour with Turistik, our driver Mario and our guide Alejandro were informative, friendly and engaging from the start. The winery guide/actor Sebastian was convincing and highly entertaining. The guides spoke English, and were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the tour. Unique, entertaining and good value.
Best guide ever! Fascinating information provided during the tour.
Mila was incredible we enjoyed everything from the theatrics to the amazing wine and delicious food! Everything was outstanding! Thank you again!
Emilio and Emillante were absolutely amazing on our tours — truly one of the best experiences of our lives. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and made everything feel special from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and we also want to give a big thank you to Mauricio, who was equally wonderful and helpful throughout. Highly recommend this team for anyone looking for an unforgettable tour experience!
Great experience all round. Well informed tour guide that educated and entertained. Great wine and food. Highly recommend!
Great show and even better food and entertainment. Highly recommend the acting and commentary is excellent. The wine was also good and great prices.
Best tour guides ever juan and Fernanda were sooo sweet and offered to take beautiful pictures of me since I was traveling alone(: highly recommend doing vip tour is so worthit and beautiful vineyard
The wine is amazing in both of the wineries. Our guide Valentina and the driver Alejandro are very nice. Answer all the questions and take good care of us. Highly recommend for non-Spanish speakers.
I learnt so much about wine on our tour. Eduardo was great and took so many great photos of us, which he sent via WhatsApp. Hermenes was our driver. The wine from Concha y Toro was delicious.
I found Turistik to be well-organised, professional and extremely helpful and considerate throughout the day. When the only tour of the Concha y Toro winery available was in Spanish (my Spanish is moderate at best), Eduado offered to stay with me and translate anything I didn’t understand. Thank you Turistik!
We did this full day tour while we were in Santiago for 5 days recently & would highly recommend it. It gives you a chance to get out of the bustling city & see some of the countryside. While both wineries are spectacular, we particularly liked the Santa Rita property with its beautifully manicured park. They have converted the original ‘summer house’ into a boutique hotel so you can stay there if you like (& it’s within your budget!) Our guide, Javiera, and driver, Octavio, were fantastic. Javiera is bilingual & translated easily between Spanish & English. Our guide at the Santa Rita winery was bilingual as well but the guide at the allocated time we did the Concha y Torro winery was not. Javiera accompanied us on the group tour of Concha y Torro winery and translated for us so that we did not miss out on anything - a very big thank you Javiera! One word of advice - the serves at the restaurant are large!
I was in Santiago for a week, and I had a Sunday available with me for relaxing after a long trip from Tokyo to Melbourne to Santiago. I spoke with the hotel staff, and they kindly guided me to this brochure from Turistik. Upon speaking with concierge, I decided to book a tour. The booking was made 30 minutes before the tour departure time, and I would say it was a seamless process. Turistik accommodated to my needs and got me a seat on the bus for Maipo Valley Wine Tour: Santa Rita and Concha y Toro Wineries. Upon arrival at the pickup point, I was greeted by the Turistik staff and guided to the bus meant for this tour. Eduardo, our tour guide did a roll call on the bus to confirm the customers, and my name was not there since I made the booking at the last moment. I had to show my printed ticket (thanks to Intercontinental for organizing print for me) for continuing with the tour. After initiating the trip, Eduardo started the introductions, and we the customers were also asked to introduce ourselves. He provided everyone with necessary information about winemaking, the terroir of Maipo Valley. I found it interesting as it was a good refresher for everyone before actually indulging themselves in some of the great wines from this valley. Within an hours drive from Santiago, we arrived at Santa Rita Winery (the third largest winery in Chile). This winery has a close relationship with the history of Chile so you must ask for 120 Patriots story. After arrival, we visited the winery reception, where the Winery staff greeted us. We had a wonderful tour of the winery, garden, parks, mansions, church, etc. before finally ending up in the cellars for the wine tasting. We tasted three great wines and were offered a wine glass on a complimentary basis as a gift. We roughly spent three hours at this winery. There are a museum, cafe and wine shop at the entrance of this winery. The Museo Andino has some ancient artefacts that are must-see. Before moving to the next winery, we had a nice lunch break at a local restaurant guided by Eduardo. We moved on with our journey to the next winery - Concha Y Toro. This winery is very famous globally for its wines and a well-kept secret. The local winery guide showed us around while giving us an excellent history tour of the winery, its mansions, landscapes and family that owned the property. We then moved to the cellars where we learned about the wine casks, storage, natural fermentation of wines. Finally, we got an opportunity to taste three great wines here as well. We were offered a wine glass on a complimentary basis as a gift. After the wine tasting, we had 30 minutes of free time to check the restaurant and the wine shop before our departure for Santiago. It was a long day, and after trying some great wines and having great food, the ride back to Santiago was short as most of us on the bus were sleeping. In no time we were back at our respective hotels and left with great memories. Eduardo, our tour guide, was excellent. He is very knowledgeable about the wines and the local culture/customaries. He, very skillfully, managed to provide us with the tour guidance in Spanish, Portuguese and English. Alejandro, the bus driver, ensured that our ride was safe from pickup to drop at our respective hotels. I would say it was outstanding teamwork by Eduardo and Alejandro in ensuring all customers have a great day. If I get a chance to visit Santiago, I would go to Turistik for my next tour arrangement and hope to see Eduardo as my tour guide too.
We got only one day before our training in Santiago. We decided to get a taste of Chile Wine trajectory. It was a GREAT day! our tour guide Daniel took good care, jumping the conversation in English, Portuguese and Spanish. The team: Daniel and the driver were fun and knowledgeable. Thanks guys for your kindness. I will be definitely coming back to Chile, for vacation this time, and travel the other Wineries of Chile.
This tour was amazing, both wineries are stunning with beautiful landscapes. The wines were delicious and we even got to keep our glasses from both wineries witch is the perfect little memory to bring home! Edawardo our guide was great, translating from English to Spanish to make sure everyone felt comfortable and understood all the information! The only down side for me was the place where we had lunch but I guess that’s more of a personal taste, I would’ve preferred to be able to have lunch at Concha y Toro where the food looks very elegant and is comparable in price with the original place we’ve been to, maybe they should offer the option since they are very close one to another! But, at the end of the day this would definitely be a tour I would be interested in doing again!
I enjoyed the tour and outstanding guide from Javiera and the driver Rodrigo. Javeria is very helpful, professional and patient. Great experience and I enjoyed every minute of it.
The vineyards covered in this tour are the two biggest winemakers in Chile, so both have well developed tourist infrastructures. This package tour includes roundtrip transportation from central Santiago hotels (we were picked up at the hotel and then taken to a shopping center, where we changed to a different Tourstik bus for our specific tour), a guide who gives some background while we were driving, and English-speaking guides at the two wineries. Lunch is not included, but the restaurant where we stopped had an extensive menu and wasn't too expensive, so it wasn't a problem. Both wineries include a glass to take home, so be prepared to save space in your suitcase for two wine glasses. It was nice to see the grounds of both estates, since they have vast gardens as well as grapevines. The main limitation of this package is the amount of time spent stuck in Santiago traffic between the hotel and the transfer point both in the morning and the afternoon.
Went on this wine tour my first day in Chile. Mauricio was a wonderful guide and I would highly recommend it
I spent a nice day exploring 2 vineyards with a great guide (Valentina). A Turistik bus picked me up at my hotel then drove me to the meeting point where we each embarked on our specific tour. For the Santa Rita/Concha y toro, we were guided by Valentina. She explained in 3 languages (Spanish, Portugese and English) the history of the wine in Chile, and gave us useful information during the day. She was very nice and fun. We first visited Santa Rita where the tour was both in Spanish and English, going trough the estate, and visiting the cave and bottling facilities, with a wine tasting at the end. We then went for lunch. You are dropped in a restaurant (lunch cost is not included). If you do not want to eat there, there are very little choice around. Personally I brought my sandwiches (which I needed to eat right after drinking the wine on my empty stomach during the wine tasting), and during luchtime, I went around visiting a few shops around the main road close to the restaurant. I don't think that Turistik would encourage that, but it worked well for me. There are a few small shops and a supermarket at walking distance (use your google map when you are at the restaurant). The second winery tour was better organised with a tour only in English, better facilities, a place where you can see the different 'species' of grapes and even taste them (in season : April is perfect). But you do not see a modern bottling facility. The tasting take place in different very nice places. I personally preferred the second winery (Conchout a y Toro), but visiting both was very interesting as it gives you a wider understanding of the Chilean wine world. On the way back, we stopped at the main meeting point and got dispatched in different buses to bring us back to our hotel or any dropping point we may like. The team was very nice and flexible. (But it would probably have been better for me to be dropped off when we came back into Santiago before the meeting point as my hotel was on the way. I could have saved a couple of hours of traffic jam). I really enjoyed the day and I recommend taking a tour with Turistik. The experience was very professional from the booking to the end.
The tour of the wineries was great and I recommend seeing them. The Turistic service was not good. After the tour we were informed that we could not be taken back to our hotel because there was a parade on the street the hotel was on. We asked if we were to be dropped off on the side of the street that our hotel was located and they assured us that we would be able to walk a short distance to our hotel. We were let off on the opposite side of the street of our hotel. We had to walk 45 minutes through a crowd of thousands to find a metro station in order to cross under the street to get to our hotel. Very poor service.

very nice, learnt a lot about wine tasting and quality, highly recommended.

The tours were excellent. The only hiccup was waiting for the coaches to pick us up. The wine tours were excellent and very enjoyable.

It's great to visit 2 different types of wineries. For what it is, it's too long, particularly the lunch almost 2 hours at a Chilean restaurant, which menu and atmosphere is not the best.

Logistics from local operator are poor. They pick you up in your hotel, then go to Parque Arauco for change bus and then go to the selected tour. They confirmed me they'd pick me up at 8am they arrived 845am

Nice tour, Santana Rita is super nice, but Concha y Toro does not let u walk around by yourself thru the park or anywhere around. Disappointing. After tour is done u can only be at the shop or restaurant there. Santa Rita is much more better, u can walk around and make pictures, and super nice coffee shop too.

Amazing tour with amazing guides! Santa Rita felt more authentic in my opinion, but I had a nice time at Concha Y Toro too. Santa Rita also gave us full pours, so you definitely get your money's worth. Highly recommend.

We should have seen 4 wineries, not 2, in the time we spent on this hell hole of a tour. Lunch was an absolute disaster and was 3.5 hours long! There was no adherence to any sort of schedule. I'm glad I saw these two wineries but this should have been a half day tour, not a full day. I could have done better and probably cheaper with an Uber. Wasted half a valuable Santiago vacation day on this atrocity of a tour. The only good thing I can say about this tour is that Santa Rita and Concha y Toro did an AMAZING job! They are not part of Viator / Turistik though so it makes sense to me.

This was an excellent and interesting tour. Santa Rita felt more authentic and personal than Concha y Toro. The winery tour guide sorry, don't remember her name was great. The only complain is that, after the tour was finished, we stayed there over one hour to view the small museum and purchase refreshments it was too long. Afterward, we went to a nearby restaurant on the way to Concha y Toro. The food was fine. Cost of the meal was extra as advertised. The menu was lengthy and hard to figure out even for me who read Spanish.
The Concha y Toro winery tour was highly organized it felt a little like you were at one of Disney's parks. Very robotic. The grounds were beautiful. Everything was fine but without authenticity.
The bus tour guide provided interesting commentaries about Chile and the region we were visiting.

The tour was fantastic ! All the guides well preprared, transportation always on time and special thanks to Mathias, the guide at Santa Rita winery.

This was well worth it. I loved the Santa Rita tour especially and both places have great stores with items that are easy to transport home. Some lovely weaving at Santa Rita and the museum there is really worth a look as it the little store attached there. The lunch location that the tour stopped at had very good selections of choices and was by far the best meal I had in the entire trip Pot Roast . Service was awesome and the tour guide was the absolute best - great information all the way, good flow of diverse languages and very knowledgeable about the area. He was even able to give me some advice of where to find the best markets located close to where I was staying. They took great care of me and this was a solo woman's best way to see the country side. Best birthday gift I could have ever given myself!

Really good day out, can't believe I am saying this but by the end of the day I had more than enough wine!

Excellent tour. We were even picked up at our apartment. Yes we are tourists but not staying at a hotel but central location. Such a nice bonus!
Max was our guide. So informative on drive to wineries and helped us with our menu reading at the lunch. We don't speak Spanish.
Just a great day, the winery tours done very well.
This tour is really worth doing.

great tour, great guides, great wine. what else to say?

Both wineries offered great tours by their own employees with tastings at the end. Lunch was lovely at a local restaurant. For those without a car, this is a great way to get to the winery, but there's not much else to the tour

The trip was very good overall. The guide was wonderful and did a great job sharing information about the vineyards and answering questions. The negatives were that the bus was 25 minutes late picking us up, and there was a lot of down time on the tours, where we had an hour several times to just walk around. This could have been a full half-day tour and would have been excellent then! But it is worth doing and the vineyards are lovely.

Although I enjoyed the overall day, it could have easily been condensed into 4 hours! I had to wait an hour to be picked up from my hotel, then at the first vinyard, the presenter talked in both Spanish and English which doubled the time of the tour. The lunch was fine but drawn out, and then we had to wait 40mins for the start of the next tour round the vinyard and no, we didn't want to go to the cafe as we'd just had lunch!. On the positive side, Daniel our tour guide was very knowledgeable as were the guides round the vinyard. But unless the timings are reviewed, I wouldn't recommend taking the full day tour.

Santa Rita is definitely work doing. Really knowledgeable guide and pretty great wine. They have a more expensive tour you can take that sounds like it would be worth doing.

Concha y Toro wasnt really good, its like visiting the Coca Cola factory. Very sterilized experience and the wines were not as good.

I would recomend doing the tour to Santa Rita and spending more time there, i think is worth it.

Unfortunately we were not thrilled with the tour, people were raving about the tour that they had taken from the cruise ship, the MS Zaandam, so we were really looking forward to this.
The wineries were ok but not a lot of information at the first one, although a very nice setting.
The restaurant that we were taken to was quite below standards, quaint and food was ok.
A wine tour, it would have been nice to have lunch at the winery while sampling some of the wines.

The tour was great. The Santa Rita tour was excellent giving you a complete overview of the winery. The tour guide was very effective in explaining the tour. The Concha y Toro was ok but felt like a commercial churn in and out not really excited staff doing the tour. Glad for the Santa Rita tour!

Everyone must go. They show you all the wine fabrication process. As for Concha y Toro, I did not enjoy that much. But the Casillero del Diablo legend worth the tour.

The wine tours were interesting but there was a lot of waiting around for them to begin.

Santa Rita and Concha and Toro winery tours are very informative. The historic wine cellars are amazing. The wine is great too ;-)

My husband and I had an enjoyable day on this tour. It was with a small group in a small vehicle which was perfect. The guide was friendly and helpful. Each of the wineries were in a lovely setting and all wines were GREAT ! Both wineries had their own guide, who ran the tour and were very informative. The restaurant selected for lunch (this was a option ) was very quaint .The menu had a good selection and the food was individually prepared, very tasty too. The guide does offer a variety of choices for lunch options,
Lunch was offered between wineries. We recommend this tour.
