Daniel was an excellent guide!! He knew alot & taught us many new words in Spanish as well as the history, food, drink & history of the area! Above all, he was a very kind person. We had an excellent day & saw another wonderful part of Chile before our tour of Patagonia. Highly recommend this tour! Gabriel was an excellent driver and maneuvered through Valparaiso like a pro! New bus, great music playlists, overall an outstanding day! Gracias!!!😁

We had a great time. Despite some rain in the morning, our tour guide Rodrigo catered the experience to make it comfortable and fun for our family with two kids. He let us browse some great shops in Valpraiso and recommended a great lunch spot. We ended at a small family owned winery called Casa de Molle. They are new and live on the property and it was super fun to meet! The kids had fun feeding the llama and had a juice tasting!
We had a great day visiting the coast with Victor giving us lots of great info. Highlight though was the beautiful boutique winery we went to. Lovely location & wine & hosts. Great day, highly recommend thus tour
Sophie was an excellent bubbly knowledgeable and passionate guide. Rapha, our driver, ensured our safe journey to and from the destination. The highlight of the day was probably the fish market, sea lions and pelicans so close. The walking tour of Valparaiso was also very good and we enjoyed a great lunch.
Pablo was a great guide and was very informative! Loved the day trip out, the fish markets were interesting and we got to see some of the local sea lions! Valparaiso is a beautiful town and I enjoyed the wine tasting too
Our guide Alvaro was absolutely terrific. Very knowledgable about Chilean history, wine, Valparaiso. He happily answered all our questions ànd made the trip an even better experience through his kindness and interest in making the adventure à good experience for all!
Great communication. Well planned tour and stops. Jaime was a great guide. Comfortable vehicle for transport. Overall wonderful experience for our large group of 10.
Very well curated trip, we were able to see Al the highlights and the winery tour was good. Definitely recommend this tour.
This our second time booking tour with this company! Guides never disappoint! This time we had Alvaro and Alejandro! They have provided an exceptional customer service! Very caring knowledgeable guide! It has been a very fun experience! Will be recommending it to everyone! Great time!
We had a great day trip with Álvaro from Santiago. The whole day was well organised and engaging. There was a good balance between excellently explained guided walks, and free time. It was a great way of seeing the highlights of the area, without feeling rushed.
Great small group day trip to the Chilean coast.Valparaiso is colorful and unique! Alvarado (guide) and Angelo (driver) were excellent throughout the day!
Such a fun day trip. Benjamin is such an awesome tour guide. His language skills are incredible. Speaking English, Spanish & Portugese. Very impressive and informative. Don’t hesitate to book!
nice tour of Viña del Mar’s Moai statue and floral clock, Valparaiso’s winding streets, some history of the city, and our guide Benjamin had excellent food recommendations. Funicular and winery were icing on the cake!
Highly recommend visiting Valpo and Viña Del Mar. The cities are pretty unique, very colorful and full of art. We also had a great guide!
Alexis was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and showed us some of the best areas to see...every place we visited was so beautiful. It was a great tour from start to finish!
What a great way to end our stay in Santiago. Communication was excellent and we were greeted by Álvaro outside our hotel promptly at pick up time. The stops were great with lots of explanation and plenty of time to look around and ask questions, we never felt rushed and had a fantastic day. Álvaro was a fantastic guide with exceptional knowledge and is super friendly, I highly recommend this tour.
This tour is a fantastic day trip get away from Santiago and get to know Chile better, more than just the capital city. Our guide Alexis was excellent; he was proactive to make sure everyone is ready even the day before the tour, informative by teaching us not only history but culture of the country, and caring with good sense of humours and making sure everyone is having good time. He helped us connecting to Chile and feeling safe and home during the trip. Highly recommend to joint the tour if you are interested in exploring outside of Santiago.
Alvaro and Gregorio were so amazing! Alvaro really keeps you engaged the whole tour. They are such sweet people and are very accommodating! Lovely day with them!
The trip was amazing! The wine tasting was really neat, and had some wonderful options. Both of the cities that we visited were rich in history and had a ton to offer. Álvaro, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us a ton about Chile, Santiago, and the two coastal cities. Overall, would highly recommend!
This tour gives a nice blend of sight seeing with a good amount of wine tasting. The graffiti art was something I was not expecting to enjoy, but it was incredible.
At first there was light....then there was Alvaro. What a cool guide very knowledgeable and friendly #alwaysaskforalvaro. Great trip highly recomend.
Our guide (Alvaro) and as well as our driver (Angelo) was excellent all around. They were helpful in trying to accomodate even the smallest requests. This is why we booked our 2nd tour with them!
I booked this tour because we had an amazing experience on the Inca Lagoon tour. Luckily, they were able to book us with a days notice. We were also able to get on the tour with Angelo and Alvaro again. They are both super friendly and accommodating. The tour included stops at local shops, restaurants and sites. My favorite part of the tour was stopping by the Caleta Diego Portales, trying the fresh caught seafood and watching the wild sea lions. Highly recommended and request to have Angelo and Alvaro.
Our guide was Alvaro who was outstanding. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. And our driver Angelo was always outstanding. We would highly recommend your tours.
The tour was great. It was small (I went with my mom and there was also a couple we met there). Benjamin was our tour guide and Gregory was our driver. Both of them were super nice throughout the day. Benjamin was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. We did the tour as a substitution for another which was canceled due to the weather. It turned out to be a great option.
Benjamin was an amazing guide. We saw so much today & he was very knowledgeable & accommodating. Saw a large pod of sea lions and huge pelicans. The colourful murals at Valparaiso. Amazing. Our driver,Alex was amazing as well.
This wasn’t the original trip that I signed up for but turned out great. Benjamin was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and attentive. Translating to English helped me learn and appreciate the places we visited. He communicated well before and during the trip. Our driver was great (sorry can’t remember his name, only that he was from Argentina). We also had a guide in training (his name is Alvaro) that was very friendly and knowledgeable of the areas we visited. My favorite part of the trip was the walking tour in Valparaiso, lots of history. Overall, would recommend and do another tour.
This was an incredible experience. It was a birthday tour for my girlfriend and she loved it. Our tour guide Benjamin was extremely knowledgeable and took great care to explain everything. He was very attentive and accommodating to the needs of a diverse group. The driver Fernando was also amazing he would offer to take pictures and the pictures were always great. I highly recommend this tour and the company.
To be honest, I do not understand what costs this amount of money. The tour itself is mostly driving through two towns with a guide and stopping multiple times near souvenir shops… We also did not get the wine tasting! Instead, they gave us a bottle of wine and claimed that this is more than tasting (which I doubt). Finally, the tour was not even close to the 10 hours promised. We departed later and were back in Santiago at 16:00.
Valparaíso was the highlight and surpassed our expectations. A very large community with numerous restaurants and street vendors that wind their way through narrow and steep hills. Wonderful and colorful street artwork painted on the walls of homes, businesses etc. add to the uniqueness of this city.
The guide and driver were ok but relatively late pick up at 9am so that meant we wasted first part of the day as it says in advert pick up at 8am. Although we did visit the places stated it felt we went more to where the guide wanted to go as he was born and raised in the parts of Valparaiso that we visited, didn’t feel we saw the important or historic parts of the place. A nice restaurant for lunch that guide recommended. Saw a couple of places in val de mar but to be honest, in my opinion it’s not a place to worry about seeing. Stopped at a vineyard on way back, tasted some ok fizz and an average Sauvignon blanc and the latter not properly chilled 😬 and at the vineyard it was overpriced at 300% compared to the jumbo supermarket we went to. Basically a tourist trap. Minibus was a bit old and on basic side and seat belts had no reel inertia system so rather uncomfortable. Some people didn’t use them as simply not long enough to fit. Driver ok but lacking compassion over travelling at speed over the bumps and speed reduction humps in the road! Overall I have ticked it off my list of things to do but I think there are better trips to do.
Claudio was a fabulous guide. He was born and raised in VALPO and knows all the ins and outs, ups and downs, where to find good food, knows lots of people/vendors and even knows the names of most of the dogs and cats. It's such a colorful place. From Easter island relic to wine tasting, it was great fun.
Gabriel and Dani were wonderful guides. They went out of their way to make sure all of us had an amazing trip. We took two different tours with them and I highly recommend them to anyone short on time in Chile.
Wonderful trip and guide. Beautiful views and very accommodating and informative. The sea lions were amazing.
This tour was just what the description said. I really liked Valparaiso and wish we had had a little time to shop. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the winery stop was disappointing. We only tasted two wines, a red and a white, then were given a little time to buy some wine. It’s hard to know what you might want to buy after trying only two wines.
This was a great trip. Valparaiso and Vina del Mar were amazing places, and very interesting to hear about the history of them and of Chile in general. Francesca the guide was perfect, and her English was perfect as well. We got to see a seafood market and sea lions at Valparaiso, have a nice lunch, and stop by a winery on the way home. One thing to note for travelers, since several people on my trip were not prepared and I was only slightly prepared - beware of the weather. I went in Summer, when it was 90 degrees in Santiago, yet it was cold, foggy, and misty in Valparaiso. Apparently it is like that all the time (probably colder in winter). So check the weather and definitely bring layers, I had pants and a light jacket and I was really cold, some people in shorts and t-shirts were even colder. But on the drive to and from Santiago and at the winery it was hot so it was nice to be able to have a short-sleeve shirt underneath my jacket. I was a single traveler but many others on the bus were couples, so good for either. Otherwise great trip and highly recommend if you are looking to explore some other parts of Chile while you are in Santiago.
Great tour guide and tour driver pleasent and smart.Would recommend highly for solo traveler,I was picked up on time and dropped off at my Airbnb.I loved the Chilean dishes and drinks at the restaurant chosen for lunch.
Our tour guides were very knowledgeable about the country as a whole, the destination cities, and the best places to visit within the cities we visited. I have never seen so many murals before and the architecture was amazing to see. And the people within our group were very friendly and it was nice to share our travels with eachother throughout the entire trip.
My wife and I are visiting our daughter as she is a transfer student so this was a wonderful experience for a half day tour. Frank was fun, knowledgeable and friendly. The group was fun as well so that made it even better. I recommend this highly!
They were extremely accommodating. Had a wonderful time and was a wonderful tour. Frank was extremely knowledgeable and made the trip interesting! We saw a lot of Valparaiso!
We did this tour from Santiago on Feb. 16th. Guide and driver were very good - guide had very good English and was very knowledgeable and friendly. The weather on the coast was not great the day we went, but was nice in Casablanca valley when we stopped for wine tasting. We got picked right on time at our hotel and dropped at our door in the afternoon. There were 12’ish or so on the tour. The wall murals in Valparaiso were very interesting and the wine tour relaxing. The only negative was the restaurant stop for lunch - great view, but overpriced and mediocre. In fact we refused to pay for my wife’s meal. They definitely need to find another restaurant to stop at
To our surprise, we found out the tour was full before we booked and received confirmation, only by calling to find out what time we would be picked up from our hotel
Definitely go to Valparaiso if you can. Go to Vina De Mar if you really like the ocean. But I do not recommend going on this tour. We were very disappointed in this experience with Francisco. The driving experience was pretty terrifying. A lot of the driving in Chile was scary, but this day made us constantly feel as though we were on the verge of an accident, as we were driving on the freeway at high speeds and right up behind other cars, and changing lanes with barely any space. The guide tried to explain things about Chilean history and the places we were going, but he actually made me more confused. He took us to a wine store and then disappeared for a while. As we were leaving, he noticed I had bought something and asked for the receipt to bring back in and said the tour company requires it. We were also expected to use our own coins to pay for the Valparaiso elevator which was strange and inconvenient to not be included. We had to run to keep up in the streets of Valparaiso so we barely got to see and enjoy it, and I had to insist that he stop and tell us about a mural that looked fascinating and that he had said showed all the history of Chile. When we got to the restaurant, which I think was the reason for the rush, we weren't interested in eating there since it wasn't included in the tour, reviews said it was over-priced, and there was a cute empanada place next door. He acted like it was a big deal for the company to cancel the reservation even though it was only for 4 people. We insisted, and the empanada restaurant was the highlight of the trip. The owner gave us great information about Valparaiso history, spoke great English, and had amazing food at a great price. The winery was quite nice and the wine tastings are well-priced. None of the other reviews reflected this experience, so I felt I had to share my honest review. Maybe the guide is the type of personality that some people would really enjoy for this tour. He was passionate and friendly. I just wanted to experience and learn about the place, spend more time exploring Valparaiso and not just places where the company seemed to get a kickback, and not have to be stressed from the driving.
Jose Diaz was a great tour guide - he showed us all the historic sites in Valparaiso and the beautiful beaches, rocky coastline, and parks in Vina del Mar. We loved the street art and funiculars in Valparaiso. The stop at a hilltop winery in the Casa Blanca valley was a nice way to end the day.
Jaime and Gerardo were great. Lots of interesting details about the trip -- but also not too much! The Valparaiso portion and the stop at the Vineyard were highlights. And the restaurant Jaime selected -- great views and some of the best seafood I've had. Thanks again to both of them.
We took a bus trip out to the coast, the beach is very clean in Vina Del Mar, Valparaiso is definitely worth the visit, the buildings are amazing, so colourful & make for some amazing photo's, streets are extremely steep here so some fitness is needed
Valparaiso is one of those places where you could wander the streets for days. It is colourful, vibrant and unique. Definitely worth the 1.5 hours from Santiago.
I never write reviews, but this time I have to. Valparaiso was amazing. You will not go wrong visiting thus city during your stay in Chile. The trip was made even better by tour guide Helen and driver Carlos. They were above excellent! Really worked hard to make this a special day. Thanks to both of you.
Excellent day in picturesque countryside and cities. Hector a knowledgable and friendly guide. Highly recommended.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Vina del Mar and Valparaiso! Francisco, our guide, did everything he could to make sure we had a great day! He was a wealth of knowledge on Chilean history and culture! Vina del Mar was lovely, with hydrangeas in full bloom everywhere, but I loved the colors of Valparaiso even more. The funicular ride was like stepping back in time and the views from above the city were amazing, especially when the fog rolled in and then rolled out! Our lunch was in a perfect location and the food was delicious! All in all, it was a great day and I would highly recommend it!
