Tomas was an excellent and fun tour guide. He has a wonderful grasp of the English language and made the history of the vineyard interesting. His explanation and description of the sampled wines was very helpful.

This is a must do in Santiago. Incredible history and amazing wines. TOMMY our guide was exceptional. Thank you
We had a wonderful experience on the Traditional English tour at the Viña Cousiño Macul with José our tour guide. From the moment we arrived all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The tour was so well put together and well-organised. It was fascinating hearing more about the history of the vineyard and understand more about the wine-making process whilst getting to sample a number of fantastic wines. The setting too is stunning - so peaceful, picturesque and against the backdrop of the mountains. The only feedback I would have is if the tour could be run at a slightly slower pace. As they have so many tours to run, at times, it felt like were were rushing a bit (especially when trying to enjoy the wine whilst walking!) but other than that it was a brilliant experience. The addition of getting to keep the glasses at the end too was a lovely bonus!
A group of us were shown around on the English-speaking tour of Viña Cousiño Macul with Tomas. Tomas was a great tour guide and had us intrigued with his knowledge and passion for the history of the place! He also guided us to some excellent wine purchases. This is an easy access tour in Santiago if you don't have time to travel for hours to vineyards outside the city, and it turned out to be very worthwhile - recommended!
We loved our tour! Tomás was well informed, passionate, and interesting. All the wines we tried were delicious and different. Would recommend!
This tour was recommended to me by a local and I am so thankful. Our guide, Tomás, was kind, patient, accommodating, knowledgeable, and pure joy. Also the wine was/is amazing. The combination was spectacular. It was unexpectedly rainy and cold, but still this tour was one of my favorite parts of the trip.
I had a wonderful tour with Fernanda! She was very friendly and informative; I learned so much about Chilean wine and the Cousiño family's history! Very impressed by the story of Isidora 💪
Great time with a very knowledgeable and entertaining host.
Rodrigo was a wonderful tour guide… informative, friendly and took his time answering questions! Highly recommended!
Rodrigo was knowledgeable, kind and experienced about the history of the place. Excellent guide
Such a great experience to take part in whilst in Santiago. Our tour guide Rodrigo was fantastic! He taught us so much about the area and the history of the winery, and answered all of our questions throughout the tour. You also get the chance to try 3 different beautiful wines, which were really good. Amazing value for money too!
Paulina was fabulous! Probably there could be a bit more direction when you arrive (I was trying to ask at reception but a worker was blocking my way so I couldn’t ask)…esp if you are early. Try to get Paulina - super knowledgeable and fun.
Amazing experience as a whole, recommend easily
It was a wonderful tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It is close to the city and I would definitely recommend
I enjoyed the flow of the tour. Virginia was a great guide!
It was a very interesting tour and we enjoyed learning about the process of wine making. The setting of the vineyard was gorgeous . The guide was very knowledgeable and took time to explain each aspect of the process.
Jose was an excellent guide and very informative
Jose us very personable and Knowledgable guide. Doesn’t press just explains the winery and process. Worth the visit . 15 percent discount if you mention his name in wine shop
I took this wine tour with two friends and we all loved it. Our guide spoke perfect English and he was both knowledgeable and funny. The spaces we saw were haunting and beautiful. There's a rich history here. I especially loved all the stories of the female co-owner. She was years before her time. Oh, and the wine was delicious!
We didn't have much time in Santiago so this was the perfect, relaxing, half day outing. They arranged Uber to pick us up and to return us to Mandarin Oriental. No extra charge. Interesting family history and tour of historical wine cellars. Tasty wine and nice wine shop.
This was a great way to spend the day. It was a fun tour with a lot of history and great wine. Diego was a wonderful English guide, and the wine was so good. We took several bottles home.
Spent a wonderful few hours at this winery. The traditional tour was so interesting and our tour guide Fernanda was so knowledgeable and passionate. A lovely place to walk around in the sun and very tasty wines!
We really enjoyed our tour with José. He was knowledgeable and gave us new insights into winemaking and the history of this area including the vineyard.
Consuelo gave us the tour and she was amazing. She is a really good story teller and with a good knowlegde. The tour was pretty good and easy going.
Great experience! The guide Cosuelo was interesting, patinet and held vast knowledge. We heard about the family history and the process of manufacturing the wine. The wines were fantastic as well. Highly recommended
Close to the city. 30minute drive. Tour guide was knowledgeable. Wines are excellent. Interesting history.
Convenient location if you stay in the city center. We took Uber for slightly above 10 USD to get the winary. Truly good wine. Full discloser: we liked Chilean wine since 1990s. Virginia, our English-speaking guide, was great. She was an awesome story teller. We learned not just technical details of the wine production but lots of history about the founding family and the traditions. We enjoyed our conversation with Virginia and appreciate her excellent presentation that we will remember and share with friends and family.
Virginia was our tour guide, and she shared so much great information about the history of the vineyard. She was especially proud of the second generation matriarch of the family who helped create many innovations such as a means to bottle 6 bottles of wine in the time previously of 1, and a train track system to help reduce the work load and increase the efficiency of their workers. It is a beautiful campus, and the buildings are amazing. The wine was also very tasty. I prefer their cab sav and merlot, but the rose made with merlot was the best rose I have ever had.
Nice experience close to the city. Our host Conswala was very knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions posed. Learned some interesting history. It was not clear on the booking that the payment was in US$ which was somewhat annoying.
What a wonderful place and a wonderful tour! Our tour guide Jose was very engaging, friendly & informative, filling us in on the intriguing details of the wines and history of the winery. The wine caves are wonderful to see and the tale of Isadora fasinating. Thank you so much Jose!
Jose was a great guide, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We had 4 different wines and a souvenir glass. All the wine was great.
Incredible vineyard and cellar tour, so different to anything we’ve seen in Australia or Europe. Our guide Rodrigo was informative, engaging and funny. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a vineyard experience without the cost of going to Casablanca valley
Excellent tour and the tour guide, Rogerio was phenomenal. The tour went into good details and I was impressed by the legacy that Isadira left her family. The entire guide was in English.
Paulina, our guide gave a very good tour of the whole building and process. We particularly enjoyed being given our three delicious wines to sample as we conducted the tour.
What a wonderful tour! Really enjoyed our tour and excellent presentation in English!! A must do if you are in the area! Plan ahead and enjoy!!
Paulinha is the best guide ever! The tour is amazing ! She explained every detail of the tour, how the wines are made. And we loved the tour! Gente o tour é maravilhoso
The tour was fantastic! Paulina was an amazing host—very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout. She made the experience both fun and informative. I learned a lot and felt very welcomed. Highly recommend this tour to everyone!
I had an absolutely wonderful experience during this one-hour tour. It was the perfect amount of time to enjoy and truly appreciate everything. Our guide, Paulina, was fantastic, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. The tour was not only very pleasant but also surprisingly educational, as I learned a lot of interesting facts along the way. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a short but enriching activity!
Consuela was an amazing tour guide. She was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. This was such a great tour as you got to know about the history of the family business as well as seeing how the process has changed and modernised over the years. Not to mention the wine was flowing and it was delicious. It was beautiful to wander through the vineyard after the tour and there was a great food truck to get some lunch. Would definitely recommend.
This is a very beautiful environment and also very impressive. We were in an English speaking group and we were very well taken care of. We upgraded to the premium tour which is a little longer and you taste more premium wines. Super experience. We worth it.
I did this tour with 5 of my friends from London. We had an amazing tour from Consuelo, really informative, interesting and fun! Consuelo had perfect English and was super engaging. The history of the tour was amazing and also the wine was delicious!
We had a fantastic time at the winery today. Isadora our guide was excellent; very enthusiastic and knowledgeable! We got to sample a variety of wines and had a very comprehensive tour including the cellars! I highly recommend leaving time to walk around the vineyard afterwards.
Very informative. Our guide, Jasmine, was very knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. The tour is based on this site though most of their production is elsewhere. Wonderful to see the old wine 'library'.
Our guide Claiton was fantastic! By far the best wine tour/tasting we have experienced. We were relaxed and not rushed to chug the wine like we were in Concha del Toro. The grounds and tour were terrific. We all learned a lot and enjoyed the wines.
Perfect day tour to the vineyard with super interesting history. Paulina as host was super nice and helpful. Wines were great also.
This was a very special tour! Thanks so much to Bea for all the charm, humour and insight. We had a lovely experience. We had booked for the group tour but it ended up being just the two of us and Bea. We learned so much about the history of wine in chile and the process here. It was a very special experience and definitely the highlight of my time here in Santiago. I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting the city.
Amazing winery, with lots of history, great wine tasting while on the tour, a very beautiful cava, and our tour guide May, was so nice, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. We really had a great time. And the best thing, is that it’s super close to the city so you don’t loose a full day if you’re in a rush.
We had a fantastic tour here. Our guide Valentina was excellent, sharing with us the delicious wine and the fascinating history of the viña. Highly recommend, great value for money.
This was an incredible tour with great wines and a very knowledgeable guide. Thank you for a wonderful tour. I can’t wait to return!
Fabulous guided tour of the winery - glass in hand with wine stops! Learned a lot about the wines, grapes and the history of the vineyard - thank you Ignacio.
