Sparkling Wine Tour And Premium Tasting With Private Transport

This wine tour is an amazing experience. Our guide/driver Daniel, picked us up on time and took us to a Wine Market. Wow! What an array of wines, types I’ve never seen before, a blue coloured wine infused with blueberries, a chocolate wine (which we brought home). In Chile, they are so good with producing wines and always to seek for something different. To us, it was a treasure trove of tastes, we had tastings of several wines all so very different. The people there were helpful and keen to tell us all about the wines and how they were produced. We then went on to taste the sparkling wines at Casa Vinamar, probably the most beautiful building and vineyard we’ve ever seen. We were taken to the outside terrace to sit at a table laid out beautifully with wine glasses and an array of different foods. We begun tasting the first wine which was so good, then another three wines, each slightly sweeter and all exceptional. The fifth wine was made into a cocktail which was most unusual and ended the tastings perfectly. In between time we had been taken around the vineyard and the cellar and had everything explained well. Our journey back as the sun was going down over the Andes ended the perfect day in the best way imaginable. If visiting Santiago, this tour is a must. In all this we were taken and shown around by our excellent guide, Daniel of Gems of Chile, a wonderful tour company. We will travel with them again.

This is a wonderful experience not to be missed. Cam thoroughly recommend. The first stop at the wine market was a revelation, being introduced. to Chilean wines that are unique. The introduction to the fine sparkling wines at the beautiful vineyard afterwards was the highlight of our stay. This tour is a must for wine lovers.

Great time for sure, The wine market was interesting and fun to try some wine that I would have never tried otherwise like wine with chocolate. The winery was the star of the show, great host learned some really cool things about sparkling wine. The tasting was well worth this trip. It's to bad that they don't export the sparkling wine. We did buy our favorite of the tasting to take back and enjoy tonight with dinner.

Daniel was a wonderful host! Pickup at our hotel was smooth, as was the drive out to the first stop at the wine store. Daniel made sure to find someone who spoke English to give us a wine tasting at the store and he brought some carrots to feed the Llamas! Then off to Vina Mar for a brief tour of the vines and a wonderful tasting of wines, and a very nice charcuterie board as well.

Danny was an excellent driver and guide on this private tour so much so that I decided to take another tour with him the same day! Vinamar is a beautiful small vineyard with delicious sparkling wines. It was a flight of 4 with a fabulous charcuterie board. I was surprised by a fifth tasting that rally took the cake. It was their ice wine that is meant to be served over ice with frozen fruit nothing like the syrupy ice wine from Niagara on the Lake. It was served with frozen fruit which was a rose made from an orange, plum, strawberry and blueberries. It made for a perfect cocktail without a mixer but of course you could add juice etc but I just thought it was perfect as is. The tasting setting is stupendous as is the presentation. You can either be inside looking out at the grounds or outside. It really was the perfect morning tasting absolutely delicious sparkling wines.

Daniel was excellent - I was the only one on the tour, so the rate and pace were very flexible. The winery is beautiful, and Connie who led my tasting experience was knowledgeable and friendly. It was the perfect experience for my first day upon arrival - highly recommend!

Nice clean private transportation. Daniel was very personable and knowledgeable. He kept pleasant conversation and provided a unique local perspective. The tasting at Viñamar was delicious and the charcuterie was one of the best we had in Chile.

Excellent day spent with Daniel on our Sparkling Wine Tour. Vina Mar was gorgeous. We were served 4 different types of sparkling, along with copious amounts of antipasti. The last was a tasty refreshing glass of "ice" with fruit. Fun day!

This was a great tour. Daniel was our guide and he was fantastic! I highly recommend to anyone looking to do a half day wine tour out of Santiago. The sparkling wine was better than we expected and we bought a couple of bottles to enjoy on the reminder of our trip.

Can you have too much of a good thing? If so, we may have just experienced it on our sparkling wine tour in Santiago, Chile. Daniel picked us up right on time at our hotel for our half day morning tour. On our drive to our first stop at the wine market, Daniel provided us with interesting information about the geography and politics of the local area. We also made a personal connection on our shared experience of living temporarily in the Netherlands which helped our communication for the day. Our first stop led to our first wine tasting of 3 lovely wines - a rich red Carmenere, a sweet blueberry blue wine and a chocolate red - all before 10am. The market also had some interesting souvenirs (like Lapis Lazuli jewellery and nick nacks). After a brief chat with some local friendly Llamas (Daniel supplied some tasty carrots as incentives) we were on our way to the Vinamar winery. Since we arrived a little early for our tour, our host gave us a tasty sparkling wine starter while we enjoyed the. view of the vineyards across the water feature through the expansive widows of the foyer. Our host soon led us on a tour of the winery, where we were able to view the produce and facilities up close and have all our questions answered. Finally, we were taken back to a tasting room which had a wonderful view over the vineyards. We were presented with a series of increasingly sweet sparkling wines, 5 full glasses in all. These included tastes of strawberry, peach and a Muscato. We each had our own small charcuterie board (no sharing required) with the obligatory cheeses, meats , fruit and nuts, all very delicious. The surprise finale was a fruit cocktail based on another sweet sparkling white - super refreshing on the hot sunny day. After all this, the drive back to our hotel was very chilled. A great experience overall.

Young solo female traveler. Felt completely safe and absolutely loved this trip with tour guide Daniel! He went on his way to even walk over to pickup from the hotel. He speaks many different languages fluently and is incredibly knowledgeable about many things not only on this trip but also about Chile and traveling in general. Was a lovely expierence with a great opportunity to try different levels of dry and sweet sparkling wines. Would absolutely reccomend and do again! Every was absolutely wonderful from the seamless pick up at out hotel to the amazing sparkling wine tour. Daniel was an amazing driver and guide, he made our trip with his great personality and vast knowledge. Definitely recommend this sparkling wine tour!!! Ohhh and my girlfriend lovedddd feeding the lamas that was a highlight as well!!

Daniel was absolutely amazing! From start to finish. I also wanna mention I was a solo traveler that. Daniel arrived early, picked me up from my hotel and we were off to three different wineries. Daniel is a safe, reliable and dependable guide. Very knowledgeable about the region and Chile 🇨🇱 I was able to visit and buy several selected wines from my favorite winery in Casablanca region in Chile. I spent hours walking through the vineyard, tasting wines and Daniel waited patiently through the private tour. I also received a generous charcuterie board while at one of the wineries. I would highly recommend Daniel!

A lovely half day excursion to Viña Casablanca to taste some of their bubbly. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!

This is a simple, elegant, and relaxed wine tour in Casablanca that begins with a fun trip to a wine market to sample and purchase local wines, as well as the opportunity to indulge in fresh fruit, bakery items, and souvenirs. The next stop is the picturesque Casa Vinamar winery to tour the building and grounds and learn about the craft of sparkling winemaking. The tour is capped by a very lovely and organized wine-tasting of five of Casa Vinamar's widely different sparking varieties, as well as a generous charcuterie board to accompany. Daniel was a kind and accommodating tour guide.
