The Santa Rita winery tour is a professional, well-organized experience that stands out as a must when visiting Santiago. The wine tasting offers excellent variety and consistently high quality, with well-balanced flavors that highlight the estate’s range. The accompanying food is delicious and thoughtfully paired, elevating the overall visit. What makes it particularly noteworthy is the outstanding value: the cost remains remarkably low relative to the quality of the wines, the meal, and the complete experience. Highly recommended.

Fernanda and pavlo were great, had a awesome time!
Our tour guide German was absolutely world class and outstanding. He was a world full of knowledge and watching him change from English to Spanish to Portuguese was seamless. Would definitely come back again and recommend to anyone wanting to come learn about wine and the amazing history of Chile. The museum is also a major highlight and very interesting. 10 stars.
German, the tour guide, was informative and helpful. I ended up being solo on the tour but did not mind it at all. I was kept busy and had time to relax.
Wonderful experience!! Super well organized with a great tour guide and driver. We particularly enjoyed the bicycle ride through the vineyard, the walk through the 40 acre garden, the wine testing and the wonderful lunch! A memorable day that was well worth it. Highly recommended!
Hector and Luciano provided a lovely trip to Santa Rita winery. Luciano and Hector were very friendly and great to talk to, making it a very comfortable time, even as a Solo traveller. The views were amazing, with lots of photo opportunities, and learning of culture and history. They made the experience very enjoyable, offering lots of knowledge on the area.
we had an amazing day at the Santa Rita winery! The lovely Matias as a tour guide and Manuel the bus driver made sure we had a prompt arrival to the winery, and then a lovely day viewing the vineyard by bike and then a tour of the park and heritage of the property. Then to finish a tasting of the lovely Santa Rita viña wines and a picnic. it was a lovely day and I would definitely recommend it!
Thorough overview of picturesque Santa Rita. Our Turistik guide Ms Fernanda was excellent explaining from the start. Her lively delivery and demeanor was very engaging and helped us understand the trip. Santa Rita was beautiful. We went during low season but it was worthwhile to understand vineyards and wine making in Chile.
The biking and vinard tour was fun along with the history of the vinard. It was interesting seeing a big wine producer in action. The wines for the tasting were meh! The picnic lunch was great with a beautiful picnic basket provided and a bottle of wine. Our guide Alejandro and the driver did an outstanding job.
The tour was excellent. The guide spoke very good English and took great care of the group. I chose the bike tour and lunch package, which was awesome. I got a 3 course meal, which included very nice red and white wines. This was in addition to the many samples offered during the wine tour. Santa Rita is not as well known as other wineries, but they are highly recommended by local Chileans. Do yourself a favor and book this trip package!
The winery and its views were amazing, loved learning about the history of the place too. Luciano was a fantastic guide for us!
Luciano and hernesto were great, and the whole thing went flawlessly. The picnic and the tour we got of the winery were both amazing.
Very informative guide, excellent tour of Santa Rita and great lunch … very comfortable drive to and from vineyard to our drop off
Great tour of the wine facility and winery area. Our turistik guides, Fernanda and Sophia were both friendly, perfect English and very interesting and made the hour drive seem short. The wine tour was interesting and the guide spoke good English. Great wine tasting of 3 wines (large tastes) and the picnic was very tasty and there was lots of food. The museum was a free bonus. Oscar our driver brought us safely both ways. Thank you.
The views were amazing, Sophia, Fernanda and Oscar were outstanding and very helpful. The vineyard was so much more than just a quick tour and tasting but included a history of both Chile and the local region combined with a tour of the beautiful gardens and grounds. Great way to spend a day
Beautiful tour of Santa Rita winery! Fernanda y Sofi were great guides and Oscar a safe driver. Picnic lunch was also delicious! Would recommend for a day trip from Santiago.
The tour of the wine facility was very interesting and the grounds were spectacularly kept. Our tour guides Fernanda and Sophia spoke great English and were able to answer all of our questions. The actual wine tasting was a very small part of the tour but there was a large picnic with more wine at the end.
Sebastian was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about the vineyards and made the bike tour very enjoyable. Even though we were the only people who spoke English, all the staff took the time to explain everything again in English after saying it in spanish just for us which we really appreciated. The vineyard itself is very beautiful and you get loads of wine if you chose to have the picnic as well as the wine tasting.
Sebastian was amazing during the tour! Well knowledgeable about the area! Great time on a spectacular place!. I highly recommend!
Fantastic experience with Fernanda from turistik and the guys of Santa Rita, getting to know about the history of wine cultivation and production around Santiago de Chile and even got to make our own blend and bottle of wine. So much fun and highly recommended!
Fernanda was amazing. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her city. We really enjoyed the wine experience at Santa Rita !
We made our own wine and then we’re judged on the quality of our wines! It was so much fun! Afterwards, we had a fabulous meal and a tour of the indigenous museum! Thank you Fernanda and Rafael!
Fernanda is a top notch guide. She has wonderful, positive energy and is a very clear communicator. She has a deep knowledge base, excellent interpersonal skills, and a clear pride in her heritage - all a winning combination of qualities that make her an outstanding guide. She even sang a beautiful song for us by a local, famous songwriter. She went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate individual needs in the group.
Our tour guide Fernanda Acuña gave us very nice tour. City Tour with catedral bell towers visit was astonishingly beautiful!!
Fernanda was amazing, very knowledgeable about the history of Chile, and also is very fluent in English! She and the drivers made the experience very pleasant!
Fernanda was super friendly and informative. She has great energy and if you’re lucky, you might get a song performance from her!
We were left for an hour or so to mix various wines ourselves, without any explanation about what to pay attention to, what wine blending is, etc. The experience was average.
The tour was very nice. The wineyard was very beautiful and interesting. The wine was very delicious and the Picnic very nice and relaxed 🌞. Fernanda speaks very good english 👍🏼
Very well organised tour and great value for money. The tour included a visit to St Rita’s winery, its enchanting gardens and a wine tasting session. We were also served with a lovely hearty meal presented in a beautiful picnic basket which could be enjoyed in the designated picnic area of the vineyard. There was also an opportunity to visit the local museum (included in the price) which had impressive artefacts telling the history of the Chilean people. The tour guide Luciano and the driver Leo were incredibly patient, kind and attentive. Highly recommend the tour for visitors looking for a nice chilled out day in a vineyard with the backdrop of the Chilean countryside accompanied by courteous guides
Wonderful tour, very informative .Great vineyard and wine. Very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.....
We were traveling to Santiago with Setours and they added a trip to Santa Rita for our final day in Chile (flights to the USA leave very late in the evening). Victor did our tour of the winery and guided us through our tasting and it was AMAZING! This was one of our most memorable vineyard tour and tasting we have ever had. Hector took us through the Vineyard in a horse carriage. Victor explained to us the history of the winery (it has a beautiful history of protecting soldiers through the war for independence). We didn't feel rushed at all. The tour ended in the wine cellar where we had our tasting. Victor had us sample both blended and straight up Carmenere wine. We also asked about a Syrah vine that we had seen on the vineyard tour and he had us sample that as well. We normally don't care for Syrah, but the floral bouquet on the nose of this wine and the flavor was superb. This winery does it up right - allowing you to take the board and wineglass home as souvenirs after your tasting. Went to lunch at the restaurant onsite, service and the food were impeccable. Finished the day walking through the museum that the owner of the vineyard has made available. Really nice to see a vineyard with such rich history sharing the history of the region with it's guests! Highly recommend stopping here on your travels!
Not worth your time or money!!! Our group of 11 booked this excursion as a convenient way to explore a winery close to Santiago and try delicious Chilean wines. We were disappointed with how logistically inefficient the transport was and felt that the winery experience was very commercial with too little time to explore and enjoy. We did not know that there were two pick-up stops. After we were picked up from the first stop at 8am, we left at 8:20am and drove 20 minutes in the opposite direction of the winery (only 50 minutes from stop one) to pick up at stop two in Vitacura. We arrived at the winery at 10am and were told to be back on the bus at 12:30pm. At the winery, we were met with a tour guide who showed us around the estate and cellars. This was cool but took 1.5 hours, followed by a 40 minute wine tasting. This only left 20 minutes to enjoy and explore on our own!! We were hoping to relax as a group, enjoy a bottle of wine, explore the museum included with our ticket, etc but couldn’t do any of that due to how commercial and structured this experience was. On top of that, they didn’t even drop us off back at stop 1!! They told us to take the bus - we ended up ubering in groups. Not cool to not disclose this in advance. $75 USD is an absolute rip-off for this sham of an experience. FWIW, I saw a brochure in my hotel (Novapark) list a similar experience for only $45 USD. Don’t book this experience with Turistik! They only want your money.
This was a very inefficient tour managed by a large tourism company in Chile (Turistik). Of the 6 hours that we were on the tour, we were traveling for 3.5 hours and only spent 2.5 hours at the vineyard. Our group arrived at the meeting point at 8am but didn't leave until 8:20am. We were then taken to another meeting point in the opposite direction of the winery where we had to change buses to go to the vineyard. For reference, the vineyard is only 50 mins away from the original meeting point. At the vineyard, we did an almost 2 hour tour of the garden and about a half hour for the tasting. We were then rushed to the gift store before being ushered back to the bus. As a pro, we were happy with the guide at the vinery and the seeing the garden was a unique vineyard experience. We were excited to visit the museum at the winery (the admission cost is included in what we paid) but there was no time to see it. For the price and lack of vineyard time, the tour is definitely not worth it. Recommend find local guides instead of going with this large tour group.
The guide Luciono provided appreciated info during the trip in English and Spain as well. The parc if the viña is amazing. The tour itself could have lasted half an hour longer, as the the guide thru the viña walked quite fast and seemed in a hurry. The wine tasting was good, though a Water to clean mouth and glass would have been appreciated.
We had a fantastic day. Very good tour and not rushed. Our guides Luciano and Valentina and driver Hemenes were excellent and friendly.
Causal trip with nice staffs from Turistik. Vina Santa Rita is not only a vineyard, it has a big garden inside
It was iconic, amazing, very peaceful, our tour guide Valentina was very helpful and explained very well our experience.
wanted to visit a traditional winery and this tour was particularly recommended. We were collected at the arranged time and then went immediately to the winery. We were pleased not to be calling in at countless hotels picking up people. The tour itself was excellent. We were shown around the magnificent grounds and then the actual winery. We ended the tour with a wine tasting and we were delighted to be presented with an engraved wine glass. The tour ran to schedule and Luciano, our guide was great. He spoke both in Spanish and English, for the benefit of guests and kept us entertained on the journey there. We would highly recommend this company. Simon & Caroline
The tour was way nicer than I expected. The group was small (maybe 12 persons) and the guide was great. I would recommend this for anybody that wants to get out of Santiago for half a day, the garden around the vineyard is gorgeous
It was amazing. Our guide at Santa Rita winery was Ignacio. That guy is so friendly. Bus left on time (no delays), super clean, nice temperature. If you need a service like this in Santiago, I highly recommend them.
I did the bike tour through Santa Rita. In my group I was the only one, but I still did it with our guide and it was an amazing experience, we had the beautiful landscapes of Maipo Valley around us and had a great talk about the culture of production and consumption of wine in Chile, comparing with my own country. The wine degustation was also fine and the only reason that I don't give a 5 stars is because the Andino Museum, included in our tour was closed and I was really willing to visit it. Thank you, Alejandro and Nestor, our guide and driver, for your profissinalism, kindess and patience
This was a nice tour of the private park. But we saw no vineyards really. And we only saw historic cellars and not active places where the wine was made. The staff was very nice but this isn’t what I expected for a winery tour.
Excellent guides, beautiful location and well maintained. Enjoyed the wine tasting but the whole experience was excellent Thank you
Alejandro and Patricio were great, the tour is 1 hour from our pick up area which was not long or bad. It was informative and we learned a lot! The wine bike tour was great with the tasting after a ride. Recommend for couples or big groups!
Both the Turistik guides (Ashley and Hugo) and the winery guide were excellent and catered very well for both the Spanish and English speakers on the tour. Touring the winery grounds to hear its history was interesting, followed by tasting 3 good wines. After that there was free time to visit the Andino Museum or get some food at the cafe.
Juan was a terrific guide - so personable and knowledgeable. We highly recommend. The Santa Maria winery tour was highly engaging and well-organized.
The vineyard was nice and the wine and snacks were delicious. The guide was friendly and the tour guide from touristik was excellent.
Perfect place to get the taste of Chile! All staff polite and helpfull! Mauri our tour guide and guide to the wine test was amazing!! The wine test became a small party! Congratulations to all at Vina Santa Rita!
The trip went smoothly and we enjoyed the entire experience. Our hotel pickup was scheduled for 8:15am, but the driver was early and arrived at 7:55am, so we were a bit rushed at the start. It was fine though, because the man that picked us up in a van went to pick up several others at different hotels, and then drove us to the Turistik bus stop to meet with all others that were on our tour. It was about an hour drive to Santa Rita. Our guide was Victoria, and she was great. She had a lot of energy and she was funny. You get a tour of the gardens and then they show you the wine making process, and it ends with a short video and 3 wine tastings. We were finished by 1:00pm and then got back to Santiago around 2:00pm.
This was not your usual winery tour. Yes, we got the tour of the winemaking process and did the usual tasting. But, in addition, we toured beautiful grounds while learning about nature and the history of the winery. Victoria was a superb guide in every way. There was also an interesting pre-Columbian museum to take in. A great way to spend your time.
