Safari Park, Wild Experience

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely incredible experience! We had the most amazing day on our safari trip! The safaris themselves were incredible, and being able to get so close to lions and tigers was an unforgettable experience. A special mention has to go to our tour guide, Diago, who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. His English was brilliant, which made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable for us. As we aren’t the best Spanish speakers, he made sure we never felt left out at any point. He was always on hand if we needed anything and shared so much interesting information with us during the bus journey. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day! We would 100% recommend this trip to anyone visiting Santiago. If you’re thinking about booking it, do it! You won’t regret it.

Benjamin did an absolutely amazing job guiding our tour and providing us with any additional information we had questions about, while keeping the energy relaxed 😎 10/10 tour guide experience. The Safari Park was a good time, I wasn’t sure what to expect but ended up being pleased with the experience as a whole with a few exceptions I believe are worth noting; some of the static enclosures were in a very sorry state, we had to overcome deep sadness for the Sea Lion’s habitat, it had no clean or running water available and its entire body was dried out, I even took a look in its private habitat to see if it had other options and the pool was nearly empty with green stagnant bacteria filled water, same as the easily visible pool. Another example was the lemurs, their enclosure was being painted with a spray gun, guests, workers, nearby animals, and the lemurs had to breathe in the toxic fumes, this does not seem like a healthy way to complete that task. Their enclosure was also being welded during this time, for approximately 5 hours the entire family sat in the center of their enclosure huddled together to avoid the fumes and welding. In addition, the signage for some of the animals needs replaced to better understand why some of the animals are stressed/injured and to know the reason they are there. I left the park with serious concerns for which animals are getting humane rehabilitation that needed it and which of them are being profited from due to their vulnerabilities. I hope the revenue being generated from the safari portions of the trip will be used to improve their habitats and psychological safety appropriately so the animals in rehab/from the wild don’t have to be stared at by humans, stressing them further.

Benjamin was the best guide ever and Héctor was an amazing driver! We would recommend this to any one looking for a once in a lifetime experience ☺️ we went without children and still had a blast! Such a great way to spend the day!

Ricardo and the driver were very good and informative.

Pros- Sebastian and Alexis were very friendly and funny. Sebastian also helped translate things into English for me. They were both kind. Also got to get close to emus, goats, deer and donkey. Plus lions climbed on our cage and it was so cool! Cons- it was a very sad zoo. A lot of the animals have been rescued and so they are stressed and traumatised. You can see this by their behaviour they exhibit. Also the enclosures are rather small in my opinion. Very muddy- I would recommend bringing good shoes!

The experience today to Safari was awesome, it was raining but our turistic guys made it possible. Diego, Alexis and the driver Hermes were very friendly, approachable, very knowledgeable was a wonderful experience

Was a good experience, guide Javiera was very welcoming for me and my family despite being the only English speakers on the tour, she still took the tike to explain everything in English to us. The experience was what I was expecting with having the lions fed above us.

Sabetian our guid was vey detailed and comprehensive in his task. The trip was very excellent, timing was on par with our schedule.

The whole tour was wonderful but the big cat safari was incredible! Never have we ever done anything like it before & probably never will again. To be that close to them was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this tour & this company.

Beautiful gem an hour outside of Santiago, I highly recommend booking through TripAdvisor. We had the park to ourselves for a warm breakfast and intimate experience of a wide variety of animals. Even on a rainy day, the experience was enchanting. German was a charming guide that spoke 3 languages and was always welcoming. The tour also provided large umbrellas, which was an unexpected grace note.

Nice experience. Leo the driver & Milla the guide was great. Ahe was explaining the rule clearly during our journey to ensure our safety. Cute little safari. We get the Lion to be feed right above us. We also get to feed the animal. Good gateway, especially with the little one. Recommend!

Well organised trip to the Santiago Safaripark. Mathiás, our guide kept us entertained and informed during the drive. The zoo itself was not big but the 3 safari's made it worth while to visit. We got a huge breakfast on arrival. After the tour I was dropped off near my appartement. Thanks!

I had an absolutely amazing time at Parque Aventura Turistik in Santiago, Chile. From the moment we arrived, everything felt well-organized, safe, and full of positive energy. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Ricardo. He was incredibly professional, attentive, and friendly. He made sure everyone felt confident and secure before each activity, while also keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed. His enthusiasm and attention to detail really elevated the whole adventure. The views from the park are also stunning, adding an extra layer of magic to the experience. If you’re looking for adventure in Santiago, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended—especially if you get Ricardo as your guide!

A very comfortable bus ride to the park. Carlos ensured we were comfortable and did a fantastic job touring us during the ride and within the park. The breakfast was excellent. Loved the animal experience. I’m a Jurassic park fan…the boat ride was fun. So unique. Highly recommend. Worth the trip.

The trip was nice. As a couple of animal lover we enjoyed this trip as we saw a lot of wild animals. We also appreciate how the park protects animals. I enjoyed the lion safari and the expedition the most. Particularly for the expedition the staff was very welcoming. He tried his very best to explain to us what the animals were in English as we don’t speak Spanish well. The tour guide was friendly and helpful, too.

Janis and Jeanette were great. Very informative and super nice 5 stars for them. Only 3 stars for the attraction. It’s small enclose with few animas, good for small kids. We did enjoy the weather and hospitality. Everyone was super nice.

Signed up for this zoo / safari in Santiago because I did not want yet another city tour. Expectations were low, but the adventure was excellent! Guide Ricardo and driver Jeannette were great and very professional. The lion experience was awesome and unexpected. This alone made the trip great. But then feeding the herbivores was also great. Loved both. The dinosaur animatronics was, well, pretty lame. I did the Virtual Reality chair expecting a ride through dinosaurs or something. Nope, it was a crazy VR roller coaster! Oh my! Brunch was included for us and was very nice. I think our group was there for about three hours total, which is about right. It is an hour south of Santiago with nice views the whole way.

I visited the Safari Park with Ricardo, and it was an absolutely amazing tour. Everything was very well organized, and the whole experience was truly enjoyable. Ricardo was extremely helpful in every way, explained everything clearly, and did an excellent job with the translation. He is very friendly, professional, and attentive. We felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire tour. I was very satisfied with this experience and would like to give special thanks to Ricardo. I highly recommend visiting the Safari Park with Ricardo!

This is a complete value for money trip for families with young children - our tour guide Sebastian made sure we were fully informed , he speaks English well, took care of us and guided us at every point. I will highly recommend this day trip from Santiago

We had a day in Chile before our flight home and chose to go to this Safari park. It was a fun way to spend the day, our guide Alondra was great. The animatronics in the Jurassic part of the park were hilarious. The ride to and from was about an hour, depending on traffic. This would be a great place for kids.

The tour to the Safari was great! The tour guide, Alondra, was charming, and did an excellent job! A highly recommended tour for animal lovers.

The place is very nice and a "must go" place with kids. The price was quite high (considering that was paid in USD) but everything was well organized by Turistik company and the team was really amazing (specially our guide Marcela).

Janis our tour guide was phenomenal. I was picked up right on time at the designated place. The bus driver was expert and made a safe, comfortable ride . Janis explained everything on the bus and gave us a bottle of water for our journey . Once at the park she organised a complimentary breakfast for us. She stay with us on each safari to translate for those who do not speak Spanish. The highest point of the tour was the lion safari . We even had a loin jump on top of our jeep . Very exciting to be this up close to a big cat, Janis then organised an activity each for us to do. Such as the zip line . At the end of the day Janis took photos for us to remember the day. The driver the returned us home safely and Janis ensured I got back to my hotel . The admission fee was excellent value and the length of time spent at the park gave you enough to to enjoy the park without the day dragging . The crowd was a goosd size with a family friendly yet relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Went to the safari with Janis as my guide. Janis was wonderful and translated everything to me the one other English speaker in the group. I will never forget being face-to-face with a lion. A wonderful experience! Highly recommend this tour!

The trip was over all nice . A bit of long wait time till everyone arrive. Sebastian the guide was explaining everything in more than one language and was very helpful. He was making sure everyone was safe and informed every step.

The tour company and guides were punctual and energetic. We learned a lot about chile from our guide Diego, and he was an excellent host the entire time. Our driver yanet was a real firecracker! Both made the experience much better. The safari itself was pretty cool. Especially when the lion was on top of our caged car! Never imagined I would be so close to a jungle cat. The other animals and exhibits were really neat, but that one took the cake.

We had an amazing experience. Our guide Sebastian was great. He was very patient and he spoke in 3 different languages for our group. We were able to do so many things on the tour. The Lion encounter was definitely the best.

The Safari Park was an incredible experience! We had a lioness jump on top of our vehicle, it was right there, on top of our cage! We will never forget this, my kids were in awe... So many great things to see, it was a wonderful day!

This was a very fun thing to do with my family. We got to see all types of animals, and do many fun activities. This was definitely a must if you decide to visit Chile.

The park was just nice, mostly directed to kids, but the service provided abroad by Matias and Alex was superb. I totally recommend this company.

Jorge who was our tour guide was awesome!! He was very informative and knowledgeable. It was a great help that he spoke English and was able to let everyone there know. We would definitely recommend this excursion and Jorge as a guide!!

Jorge was a great guide, speaking English to let us know what was going on and giving us some history about the area as we traveled to our destination.
