Claudio gave us an amazing tour of valparaiso! He knew every corner of the city and navigated through all the scenic hilly streets with ease! He took care of us so well, was so friendly and professional, and provided so much knowledge and facts about Chilean region, history, and culture. The lunch was booked at a restaurant with an amazing view as well. Claudio made the trip so efficient with correct locations and timings. We felt we covered all the best parts of the city! The winery was very picturesque and unique - we really enjoyed the tour of the cellar, learning about the process, and tasting the wines! Our guide at the winery was also very friendly and knowledgeable!

Itinerary
Your experience begins with private pickup from your hotel in Santiago. As we head toward the coast, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Chile’s central countryside — an area famous for its vineyards, gentle hills, and fresh ocean breeze that creates perfect conditions for world-class wines.
Our first stop is Bodega RE, a boutique vineyard that combines tradition and innovation. You’ll enjoy a guided wine tasting, discovering their unique blends and small-batch production methods. The experience is intimate and authentic, surrounded by beautiful landscapes that reflect the soul of the Casablanca Valley.
We continue to La Sebastiana, one of Pablo Neruda’s three homes. This colorful house on the hill offers breathtaking views of Valparaíso and a fascinating look into the poet’s creative world. Inside, every corner tells a story of his eccentric personality and deep love for the sea.
Explore the heart of Valparaíso, Chile’s main port and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you’ll feel the spirit of this historic harbor town — vibrant, chaotic, and full of life. Its hills, murals, and narrow streets capture the true essence of Chilean culture.
Take a ride on the El Peral funicular, one of the city’s oldest and most iconic modes of transport, built in 1902 with British technology. It’s the perfect way to experience Valparaíso like a local and admire stunning views of the bay.
Visit Plaza Sotomayor, Valparaíso’s main square and the center of its naval history. Surrounded by elegant 19th-century buildings, including the Chilean Navy headquarters, it’s a great place to take photos and learn about the heroes who shaped Chile’s maritime legacy.
We then head to Viña del Mar, Chile’s most famous coastal resort. Our first stop is the Flower Clock, a beloved city landmark created for the 1962 World Cup. This spot is perfect for photos and offers a glimpse into the city’s charming and well-kept gardens.
Stroll through Quinta Vergara, a peaceful park that once belonged to the Vergara family. Today it hosts the renowned Viña del Mar International Song Festival, and its gardens, museum, and open-air amphitheater make it one of the most iconic sites in the city.
Before returning to Santiago, we’ll stop to see an original Moai statue from Rapa Nui (Easter Island) — a powerful symbol of Chile’s cultural diversity. Take a few photos before we begin the comfortable private drive back to your hotel in Santiago.

Fantastic experience, Francisco was a very helpful and knowledgeable person to take us around the intriguing City of Valparaiso and Pablo the driver a very competent driver in the challenging streets.
Our English speaking guide was incredibly knowledgeable and well versed on the history and sights of Chile, along with the driver who safely drove us and would wait for us at the particular sights. We loved the boutique winery visit, along with the Pablo Neruda house/audio tour. But the highlight was walking Valparaiso! What a beautiful and artistic city! Our only regret was lunch - a beautiful venue, (but it was expensive with average food) and we wished we would have skipped lunch and so we would have spent more time walking in Valpo.
Very fun day with great guide We went to a very nice winery and then on to tour several cities. We had a very nice lunch. It was a full day tour
Our guide Manuel and driver picked us up at a later time so that we could see the sunset in vina del mare at our request. The stop at the winery was nice in Casablanca and then we headed to Valparaiso. Our time in Valparaiso was nice but felt rushed and we did not stop at a couple of the sites in the itinerary. We then headed to vina del mare but with rush hour traffic made a very quick stop at the Rapa Nui site and then were taken to our dinner at chez Girard. The service and location were excellent but food and drinks average. The sunset was lovely.
Our guide is very knowledgeable about the area the tour was covering, highly recommend to those who are interested in Chile's culture and history.
This was a good way to end our cruise. We got to see a lot of countryside. Our driver and guide were very nice
Manuel (guide) and Luis Manuel (driver) were both great. Lots of great information - and Manuel did a great job answering all of my random questions. We appreciate the thoughtfulness - in that we hadn't eaten before the tour and they nicely stopped so we could get a bit of food before going to the vineyard. We enjoyed the vineyard, Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. Such a nice day trip! Thanks!
We enjoyed this long day visiting a lovely winery, Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar from Santiago. Our guide was so friendly and informative. Be aware that on Mondays museums are closed so we did not get to enter the Pablo Neruda house/museum. Just a drive by. The lunch stop at a seaside restaurant in Vina Del Mar was excellent-a reserved table with views of the sea, but not included in the price of the tour.
Alan and Manuel made it easy , fun and interesting.Very comfortable and away from to many people .Explained everything since we ask to many questions
Spent 3plus hours in the car. Did vineyard tasting at 10am! Way too early for that. Guide was not very knowledgable and slept in the car for the 1.5 hr drive back.
Our tour guides were excellent and the tour ran efficiently. I loved both cities — only wished for more time to walk around and explore. A lot of car time — and we happened to hit a lot of traffic given the holiday.
We loved our private tour with Ignacio around different parts of Chile. He was very knowledgeable and friendly which made for a very smooth and enjoyable trip 😊 he was very accommodating with our requests and let us spend as much or as little time in the different areas as we wanted and still got us back to our hotel on time. The restaurant he chose for us was very tasty as well, would definitely recommend taking this tour!
We had a wonderful day touring around the Casablanca wine region, Valparaiso and Viña Del Mar with Phillipe. He was very professional and friendly and very accommodating to all our needs. I highly recommend this tour company. You won’t be disappointed!
First off, I really appreciated clear communication with this company! When travelling it always puts us at ease. So on our private full day tour, we were expertly guided by Javier, and Pablo our driver got us to our destination with ease! We started off in Valparaiso at Pablo Neruda’s home and took a little tour. Then we did a walking tour amongst the street art and even rode one of the funiculars! After a few hours we went next door to Vina del Mar, more explanations, a flower clock, and a little Moai. We had a late lunch at a really nice restaurant overlooking the sea and it was really delicious. Lastly, we made our way to a winery for a little tour and tasting! Javier was an amazing guide, we learned a lot from him! Thanks again for a wonderful last day in Chile!
We experienced a beautiful day on our trip to Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar with our guide, Patricio and driver, Tomas. Tomas was a safe and attentive driver and Patricio shared local history and personal annecdotes that enhanced the trip. We enjoyed the views, art, delicious food and the winery!
Nice experience at an appropriate pace for the day and the places. I enjoyed the variety and ease of it all. Javier and Manuel were a great team
Our tour guide, Javier, was fantastic - so knowledgeable about Chile and enthusiastic. The driver, Luis, was also great. We liked the private tour so we could spend more time in the places that interested us more.
Loved the wine tasting. Our driver and guide were fabulous and accommodated all of our requests. He even added a llama viewing that we had been joking about!
Favorite tour of the trip. Our tour guide Javier and our driver Pablo were both excellent and very knowledgeable of Chilean culture. They went out their way to make the family feel comfortable. Could not have asked for a better day.
We enjoyed the wine tour, Pablo Neruda’s house, walking around Valparaiso, and lunch at the restaurant in Vina Del Mar. There was just enough time at the Easter Island statue outside the archeoogical museum to take a photo. The tour guide was very nice, but we would have liked more information about the sights that were pointed out, such as historical perspective and social context. Given the cost per person, maybe not the best value, since we also paid for lunch.
I highly recommend the tour. The guide, Mr. Juan was very professional and a very nice person as well. Everything went smoothly, from hotel pickup to the end.
Our guide loved the city and had relatives from there. We walked the streets and learned about the history of the city and port. We toured the house of Neruda. We ate at the "castle" and climbed the tower. We saw the Congress and learned why it was there instead of Santiago. We learned about the distinct areas of the city and the reason for their being. I highly recommend this tour and the beautiful city.
Outstanding Tour!! Highly recommended!! Claudio, our tour guide, was a seasoned, knowledgeable and respectful professional. Attention to detail was impeccable. Possibly the best guided tour we've had. Learned lots about the history, culture and idiosyncrasies of Santiago, Valparaiso and Vina del mar. Pablo, our driver, was also very nice and helped made the full day tour easy to navigate, Thanks, Claudio!!!

Did this tour and enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Saw all the street art and it was a wonderful way to see the coast of Chile. Would highly recommend it. Tour lady was very informative and had a great personality. So glad I picked this !
Excellent tour conducted by very knowable guide and perfectional driver. As a bonus we toured Primus vineyard and the way from Santiago to Vina del Mar. Well worth the day trip if you are limited on time.
Patricio, our guide, and Paulo, our driver, were outstanding. Highly recommend this Viator trip. Surprisingly the vineyard tour and tasted was not only interesting but slightly different than others we have been in.
The driver and the tour men were amazing! Our tour guy was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and thoughtful. We visited a yummy winery (Bodegas RE), Valparaiso, a tasting lunch with ocean views at Vin Del Mar and walking around both Valparaiso and Vin Del Mar. My husband and I highly recommend this private tour.
Action packed day - covered a lot of ground at a pace that worked for us. Esteban was a fantastic guide - very friendly and informative. Jose also was an excellent and helpful driver. We had a very fun day!!
Great tour! It is convenient and the sites and locations included are beautiful and interesting. Perfect for a day outside Santiago and to visit different areas and landscapes in Chile. Highly recommended
Our tour guide Patrisio (Pat) was fantastic and the tour provided a perfect blend of activities. Lunch by the sea near Vina del Mar was an amazing time and the food was magnificent!
Excellent private tour of Valparaíso with guide and driver. Had a great time at our pace. Worth the extra money for the private tour. Jim R
What an amazing tour and a great value! We didn't know that it was the Fiestas Patrias and most everything was closed, but the tour company was able to find the one winery that was open and get us in. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and very passionate. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.
Guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were very happy that we selected the private tour. It was $50 more per person but definitely worth it.
The accompaniment was incredible and always with a kind treatment from the guide, I was very satisfied
Very nice day, interesting places and very good service. The tour was very complete. Comfortable transportation, recommended
All very well, good experience. All points of the itinerary were fulfilled, schedules, routes, transport of 100

They were waiting for us at the hotel and were very friendly, they were very concerned about us along the way, the experience is very personalized, we made the purchase by the website and it was all as specified.
I went to Valparaiso with some friends from university with this Enterprise and they are very attentive, they care about delivering a good Service at all times. I recommend them 100%
On Thursday, March 12, 2020, we enjoyed this tour. The tourist agency showed up very promptly to pick us up at our hotel. The guides who accompanied us took pains to show us the beauties of Chile.
