Our tour guide, Jesús, was excellent. His English was great, he was extremely informative and funny, and he made us feel very safe throughout the tour. Everything ran on time, the food was excellent, and my wife and I had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

I booked the 10 am tour. I got a message at 8:54 am saying the 10 am tour is not available but I can do the 3 pm tour. I responded saying the 3 pm tour is good but didn’t hear back. I sent several more messages during the day with no response!! Very frustrating!! I’m waiting to hear about my refund!
I can't give a review because the guide never showed up. We were supposed to have a 10:00am tour but instead of arriving in Santiago at 7:30 am our flight was delayed until 11:00 am. I contacted to tour company and they agreed to change our tour to 3:00 pm. When the guide didn't show up I called the company and they told me he didn't show up because they were booked. I had contacted him twice before arriving at the appointed location and he never said he was cancelling us. Very frustrating. I'm waiting to see if I get a refund.
My Information was not passed along to the tour group so I missed the tour. However the tour company gave me an immediate 100% refund so I give them 5 stars for customer service.
Great overview of history and main sights was given within three hours by the very knowledgeable and friendly guide
We booked this tour the day before. It was confirmed and we arrived at the meeting point early. There was no guide and by the time that the tour was due to commence we became worried. The tour states to look out for a green hat although another tour operator uses the same colour hats. It is very confusing. It was not only disappointing but stressful after the time that the tour was supposed to commence had passed and we had not received advice on what was happening. This is not a cheap tour and we would expect better service. We finally contacted the operator and were offered a later time which did not suit us. We also were concerned that they would still not show. We requested a refund via Viator and are waiting for this. We would not recommend a tour where customer service is lacking. Had we not contacted the tour guide to find out where they were we would still not know what was happening. This is not good enough. We see in the reviews that this has happened again. We were invited to join a free walking tour by Urban Tours and we would highly recommend them.
Allow enough time. We only had an hour and a half but we could have learned a lot more had we been able to take all three hours.
Tour guide didn’t show up, and I didn’t know until I contacted the tour operator and they told me that they weren’t coming.
We met the guide and did the 3 hour tour with her- we were the only 2 person so it was great. She was informative, had a pleasant disposition and provided context to the country's history. We learned a lot from her, and things we could not learn from reading a book. She also discussed daily life for Chileans. I would highly recommend her as a guide. This was the best tour we did on this trip and we have been in South America for over 3 weeks.
Malu was an outstanding guide who showed us the diverse neighborhoods and provided great insight into the history of Santiago. Her knowledge of everything from art to flowers to history were amazing. Great tour!
Pleasant, friendly and very informative tour about Santiago and Chile. We've been late but Diego waited for us and we are really grateful Thank you
This agency is a fraud - they redirect you to a free city tour. We arrived to the meeting point and a guide wasn't there. We called the agency, and they told us to go to a different meeting point. Eventually we got to a group that was led by some college student volunteer, working for tips and who had nothing to do with this agency. This guide was genuinely surprised and said there are no reservations for his tour. I wish the previous review was available at the time of my booking. Avoid at all costs - they just collect your money for nothing.
Beware, this tour is a complete scam - Jurassic Tours (who you are buying this tour through) takes your money and then sends you on a ‘free’ walking tour hosted by a different agency. At the end of the tour, the guide is obligated to ask for a tip as he/she doesn’t receive any portion of what you are paying for this tour. Save your money and book directly with Chile Urban Tours. That tour was great and is unfortunate that this agency is taking advantage of tourists as well as the other company.
Leonardo was a great guide with lots of knowledge about Santiago and Chile as a whole. Great tour and I ate lunch at one of his recommended restaurants - 👍. Thanx Leonardo!
Claudio was a great guide - it was raining quite hard and he made sure we had a dry place to Give us a lot of the history. He made it fun as well as interesting and I learnt a lot about parts of Chilean history. I also got a good feel for downtown Santiago.
Leonardo was a knowledgable informative and friendly guide who exceeded his allotted time. A small group of 6 with good interaction all round. The tour covers the main areas in downtown central Santiago
Claudio was a wonderful tour guide! He explained the history of Santiago, Chile very well and in a humorous way! He definitely made the experience enjoyable! There was lots of walking, but of course this is a “walking tour”. The museums were closed the day we reserved our tour, but Claudio made do with what resources he had and it was still enjoyed by us all! He ended the tour in a nice area with many restaurants around which was perfect for lunch time! He even gave us recommendations! Definitely take a light jacket as it might get cold if you choose to go during October!
