We’re from the US and wanted a trip to V&V where we could learn more about the area and see all the highlights without having to worry about transportation or any logistics. Ignacio was a wonderful tour guide. He was informative, helpful, and patient with the elderly people in our group. We ended with a restaurant meal overlooking the ocean in Viña. It was a perfect trip.
Paulina was a wonderful guide with lots of knowledge and very experienced, the driver was great too
We enjoyed what we saw, the driver was very good . The guide was very knowledgeable but poor English and he gave us a history lesson. We had lots we wanted to ask about Chile but he didn’t stop talking. Then we thought we would ask on the way back but he put on loud music and went to sleep. He did turn down the music when we asked. He needs to be concise in his explanations and pause for guests to ask.
We had a very disappointing visit to Val Paraiso. We went to see the murals on the walls of the homes in Val Paraiso and ended feeling like we were in a tourist trap. Our guide had little to no knowledge of the beautiful art work on the walls. We stopped at a market/ coffee shop on the way for a wine tasting. We sampled some of the worst wines and didn’t even get to try what that region is known for (white wine). The stop for lunch was another tourist trap, beautiful view with terrible food. After lunch we said take us back to Santiago please.
It was a great tour! Perfectly adapted to our interests and needs. Our guides Rocio and Antonio were very friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and fun. They communicated well and answered all of our many questions about Chilean past and current history. They gave us a memorable and fantastic day in Chile. Many thanks to Rocio and Antonio.
Trip was planned and paid for months in advance. Was canceled by tour operator at 5pm the day before. The trip operator confirmed the trip just the day before and then canceled... not pleased
We contacted this company because we wanted a custom tour of Valparaiso. It was a bit unusual for them to have someone just want to search for graffiti paintings in the area but they did the very best they could! We were very pleased with the results and had a delightful day there. Also asked them to reserve a lunch restaurant which again they did an excellent job. Thanks so much to Rocio and the driver for making this a great day.

DO NOT USE THIS TOUR COMPANY. Our tour was filled with problems The tour was scheduled for 9am. The guide emailed new time to 8am. Then driver without guide shows up at 7:30 and asked we leave then to get the guide who didn’t show up prior to picking us up so we left our breakfasts to go with driver to get the guide. Guide didn’t speak good English so we did not have good communication Conversations between driver and guide in Spanish were about problems with other tour clients. Guide was reading facts from a notebook as he didn’t know. Guide didn’t know the area of Valparaiso that we wanted to see and got lost when we walked and could tell us nothing about the the areas that are the most interesting sights in Valparaiso and was asking people where things were. Used google a lot. Our Driver who was very good and knew the city had to step in and told the driver not to speak, and lead the tour in Spanish and I translated for my daughter without her the tour would have been a total waste of time our driver did try to make it better But we had no conversation the entire 2.5 hour ride back to our hotel. All in all not worth the $$ I paid and a very poor experience I contacted the tour operator with the above message and his response meant to be an apology made no sense. He said “ as a TAC agency, we apologize because you are absolutely right., the manager was told something wrong and someone From our staff gave the response on behalf of management and the agency in general.. I apologize most sincerely “ He offered us another tour in Santiago which we had already left and would not be returning. The response addressed none of the problems we brought up. Specifically the language issues and the tour guide did not know the city the tour was supposed to be about and that he got lost . Worst tour of all my traveling days. I really feel the tour price should be refunded as it was not as described.
Sadly this operator failed to turn up and failed to advise us they were not picking us up despite confirming the night before they were collecting us at 9 am. We emailed them at 9.30 but had no reply. After waiting an hour our hotel contacted them and they advised the guide was not able to take us so they would refund us. Fortunately our hotel (Doubletree by Hilton)organised a tour with One Tour who were fantastic. We have still not had any communication with an apology. As we were about to leave at 10.30 a guide turned up from TAC but tour had already been cancelled and we had made other arrangements for a afternoon tour and not the long days tour we had planned,
It was great to see the two cities and the difference between them. Valparaiso is impressive. Since it was a private tour we were able to stop at a winery for lunch.
Such a delightful day full.of beautiful experiences!! Cony and her husband Christian were the perfect driver and guide for this trip. She's so warm and personable. She patiently answered all of our questions and provided a lot of information. We had a long and lovely tour of Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar including lunch and time to walk on the beach along with breathtaking views and great company! Can't recommend Cony enough. Her English and knowledge were both superior. We had a great time!
Both guides - Ignacio and Fernando provided a really great experience. They were full of knowledge and ready to help in all aspects. if you do not have enough time to explore the country alone, I think such a tour is the best possible solution for you. I recommend.

It was a sensational trip, we got to know a little bit of each city Valparaíso and Vina del Mar. We counted on the excellent guide Valentina and the Van driver Marcelo, they were excellent, attentive, and helpful. I recommend!
The tour was terrible, as was the guide's service. The transfer picked us up at the hotel as agreed the day before. We continue by transfer to Valparaíso, where we get off and start a guided walking tour. However, the guide practically explained nothing about the places we were passing through. We walked through some random streets and, even when we asked about specific points, like where the funicular and the famous piano staircase were, our questions were simply ignored. We kept walking until we reached the next bus, which took us to Viña del Mar. Upon arrival, we stopped at the Flower Clock for about five minutes just to take some photos and then went directly to a restaurant for lunch. We stayed at the restaurant for about an hour and then returned to the bus to go back to Santiago. During the passage through Viña del Mar, we didn't visit practically any of the tourist spots we expected to see, such as the large pool, the characteristic buildings of the region, and the place where the sea lions are located. On the way back to Santiago, we even passed the statue of the Easter Island head, but the guide didn't warn us that we were passing by the location and we didn't even stop for photos. In the end, it was a very bad experience. The tour left a lot to be desired, mainly due to the lack of information and the guide's lack of interest in presenting the planned tourist spots. We expected to see the main places in Valparaíso and Viña del Mar, but we rushed through the places, without adequate explanations and without visiting several of the points that should have been part of the tour. Definitely, I do not recommend this tour.
It was a very good trip, the place is very beautiful, for those who have difficulty moving around it is not a good option, many stairs

I went to Viña y Valparaíso with the Marianela guide, which in many comments I saw was good, but nothing to see... did not tell us the historical relevance of the places, or interesting facts, or some context of why we stopped at the place we stopped. Basically it wasn't a guide, but a van porter. It was a meaningless photo tour and now.
I wish the cars were bigger because there were very tall people who felt a little tight especially to accommodate the legs
