Private Cruise Transfer Santiago To Valparaiso Or San Antonio

Very nice trip from Santiago to the Cruise port at San Antonio. Trip took less time than expected because of low traffic volume.

It was easy to arrange our ride on the internet. The follow up reminders were helpful. The driver was on time, the vehicle was comfortable, and the ride was smooth. Even though local taxis could have been hired for the 1.5 hrs ride at half the price, for our peace of mind (non Spanish speakers), it was well worth it for us to go with an established travel outfit.

The driver was early and got our luggage loaded. We had a smooth trip to the Port and our ship. He unloaded luggage and got us a cart. Very helpful for older folks.

Luis met us promptly at our Santiago hotel, assisted with our luggage and drove us to our cruise port in an immaculately clean and spacious BMW. He was kind and courteous, and we were so pleased with such a seamless and comfortable experience.

Driver never showed and when we called them they said that they don’t service the San Antonio cruise terminal. Got a confirmation when we did the booking, but they said they didn’t get it. We were charged anyway.

Clean Mercedes Benz with lots of room for 4 people and lots of luggage for our 4 week cruise. We were traveling with our two older parents + 85 years old and they were great!

The driver arrived at our hotel to pick us up right on time. The drive to the cruise port was very quick and efficient. We were dropped off right at the cruise check-in point. Perfect ride. It was nice to be able to schedule and pay in advance.

The hotel I was staying at had 2 lobbies. Driver waited at one and husband and I at the other lobby. Fortunately the driver was diligent and walked through both lobbies to find us. Crisis averted. We left on time. Trip was smooth and the driver was a safe driver. We arrived at the VTP (which is under construction and a bit of a mess) and got dropped off. A pleasant trip for us. I recommend using this vendor.

We booked for three people and had a good-sized minivan (plenty of space for our significant amount of luggage). Downside was the driver was 25 minutes late but he did call the hotel front desk so they could let us know he was in fact coming. Also, note that when you make the booking there is oddly no place to actually give the pickup time (just the date) so you’ll need to message the operator directly via the Viator site to provide your time. Also, the driver didn’t speak English (not that we expected him to, it is after all a Spanish-speaking country!) but just noting in case you needed to make a last-minute change.

Mauricio was prompt and friendly. On the drive he pointed out some of the interesting sights around our route. We were offered water and half way through the trip we made a quick stop. We arrived at the SAN Antonio cruise port and we were dropped off right at port entrance. Worth every penny to avoid the hassle of finding the port ourselves.

Too much time spent at each stop. More could have been seen without the long stops. The stop at a park to look at swans not meaningful.

This was an excellent way to get to the Valparaiso seaport. Our driver actually arrived early at the hotel with the perfect size van. He stopped for water on the way and arrived in plenty of time. He was able to find a porter for us and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend Viator for transportation!!

Very prompt. Actually, arrived early. Driver was vey courteous snd professional. He was able to avoid a traffic jam at the destination with an alternate route. Only negative comment was that the AC in the vehicle did not function properly and it was a bit hot in the car.

Our driver was at the airport waiting for us, but at a spot different from what was stated in reservation details we had rec'd from operator. Driver was at Departures (upper level), not at Arrival (outside baggage area and SAG). After much confusion and concern, we finally connected. He waited patiently for 3 hours and did send us emails asking us where we were, but I did not have wifi so never saw them. Much thanks for his patience. He did get us to cruise port on time and safely.

On-time (15 minutes ahead of schedule). We needed a ride from our hotel in Santiago to our cruise in San Antonio. Roughly 90 minutes. Very clean vehicle and professional driver.

Upgraded to larger vehicle. Driver could not communicate. No step stool for physically impaired passengers. Worst part was no luggage area in back of vehicle so elderly passengers had to assist with loading and unloading. Upon arrival at port…luggage held hostage pending additional cash payment. Again, no way to communicate.

The driver arrived punctually at the appointed time to pick us up from the hotel. The car was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We were delivered safely and without incident to the cruise ship terminal in an hour and a half.

1 1/2 drive and not a word spoken. Would have expected some info on Chile $250 for a very very small car with our knees jammed up against the front seats. Trunk so small one of our suitcases was in front seat. We expect more from Viator!

Excellent service, Sebastián communicated clearly with me via Viator App letting me know my drivers name, vehicle and what time he would meet us. Claudio arrived early the following morning and was extremely professional, his driving was extremely safe and we arrived at the port in San Antonio 1.5 hours later. Would fully recommend this transfer service for anyone heading from Santiago for their cruise.

You do not have a category zero rating but that is what you deserve. Viator screwed up my reservation, cancelled the reservation erroneously and then refused to reinstate it or offer any attempt to fix the situation it created. This was during an emergency; a crisis to retrieve people from a cruise ship in the midst of a crisis. Customer service rep Jeremy should be fired. While he blames his inability to assist on "the system" I am completely convinced he was unwilling to take the time to fix this problem. The details: On 3/14/2020 I engaged Viator services from Santiago, Chile, for two 10-pax buses to retrieve passengers from a cruise ship expected to dock in San Antonio, Chile. Arrangements were very rushed and last minute. I am further convinced price gouging was also involved but I cannot prove this. I was working with Anna. Arrangements concluded for the two (2) vans needed and payment rendered via a corporate Visa. When I received payment and reservation confirmation email, I had been charged for three vans erroneously. I alerted Anna (we were still on the phone). She assured me the erroneous charge would be refunded immediately and I did receive an email indicating a refund was issued for the incorrect third booking. I ended my conversation with Anna with a confirmed email that all was well and the services were engaged with a local (Santiago) provider. About 1230am 3-15 I was awakened with a phone call from the van service. He had come to my hotel, concerned because he received notice from Viator that my reservations were cancelled due to some problem with Fraud. I contacted Viator immediately with the service provider. We were connected to Jeremy. He first assured us that all was well, then announced that my reservation was cancelled and that he could not help. A protracted conversation ensued wherein I explained my situation, my emergency, and the urgency involved with restoring the services. The end result of this very long conversation was that Jeremy could not/would not help. He said I should fix it with the local provider and made no further efforts to rectify the situation, and quit the call. Not understanding the reason for the cancellation, I contacted my bank to ensure there was no problem with my Visa. My bank informed me that Viator had made a charge to the card which was accepted. Viator then cancelled the charge completely. Fortunately I was dealing with a local provider (Sebastian) who both understood the urgency and the need to engage services. We worked it out. Viator was no help at all.

cruise line changed departure port location from San Antonio to Valpairaiso only hours before scheduled transfer pick-up at our hotel; transfer company adjusted immediately to our new destination needs; driver even took us on side tour of Valpairaiso on way to port terminal; and pointed out wineries along the way. Excellent service; highly recommend.

Driver was waiting for us patiently - bags took forever so we were delighted to see him. Car was spotless and driver was good - felt safe and secure with him.

We were really specific about our space requirements but the car arrived with inadequate space. It was a small van type vehicle with storage in the back for luggage. I had indicated that we were 6 people with 1 bag and 1 carryon each. The suitcases were jammed into the back to the ceiling and we each had to hold our carryon bags. The seats were extremely tight, more suitable for 2 across, not 3. We had 2 6 foot 3 inch larger built men which hardly fit at all. The driver spoke no English and brought his wife so the front seat was not even available to use. It was almost a 2 hour, very cramped ride. We had confirmed that we were 6 larger people with 6 larger bags and carryons but we got a small vehicle anyway. But the price was right so I guess we got what we paid for ;).

We had a very smooth transfer to the port. The communication before was very re pickup time and arrived on time to collect us. The car was very spacious and comfortable with water provided and the driver was very informative and spoke excellent English. We would definitely recommend using this service.

The driver was almost an hour late and spoke no English. He had to stop for gas on the way. The van was older and uncomfortable. It was too cold and the seats didn’t adjust.
