We had the best time at Concha y toro. The tour was so interesting, the wine was incredible and the grounds are beautiful. Tomas was an amazing tour guide, he was so informative and interesting and took time to take photos of us. We would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Tomas!

I purchased a package to visit Concha y Toro Winery through Viator because there was no availability directly on the Concha y Toro website for the day I wanted (Saturday, September 12). I bought a tour for two people in Spanish, with transportation included, scheduled for 10:00 a.m. I received a confirmation email stating that I would be notified the day before about the pickup time. On the evening of Friday, September 11, I was indeed contacted via WhatsApp and informed that pickup would be at 7:00 a.m. I asked why so early if my tour was at 10:00 a.m., and the driver said he didn’t know, that they were only responsible for transporting us to and from the winery. At 7:00 a.m., they picked up my friend and me at the agreed location. We were the first passengers to get into the van. From there, we spent the next 90 minutes picking up eight other people all over the city. By 8:30 a.m., we finally arrived at Concha y Toro, already feeling dizzy from all the driving around. Upon arrival, I looked for someone who could explain what was happening with our tour, because it seemed that there was only a Portuguese-language tour scheduled at 8:50 a.m., and nobody knew anything about a Spanish-language tour at 10:00 a.m. No one ever took responsibility for the situation. The Concha y Toro staff blamed the transportation company, while the driver blamed Concha y Toro for providing them with incorrect information. It is worth mentioning that it was extremely cold that morning. My phone indicated a temperature of 2°C (36°F). The driver suggested that we wait in the onsite café. We found the café, but it was just as freezing inside as it was outside because all the heaters were turned off. We asked the two employees working there, and they informed us that the cold season had already ended and that they no longer had any gas tanks available to operate the heaters. We also asked if they had tea available, and they told us they had not been restocked with tea either and only had coffee. What incredibly poor and disappointing customer service. This experience was not cheap. I paid USD $87 per person, and it fell far short of expectations. It was not until 9:15 a.m. that Marcela, one of the tour guides, arrived and offered for us to join a Spanish-speaking group that she was leading. By then, we had already spent 45 minutes freezing in the aforementioned café, which felt more like a freezer and offered no hot beverage options. Marcela was very attentive to us and, honestly, she was the only person during the entire excursion who seemed to care about our experience with the package. She conducted the tour excellently, explained everything in detail, demonstrated deep knowledge and passion for both wine and the history of the winery. She spoke with someone who suggested that I send an email to their customer service group explaining what happened. I sent the email and they replied not taking any responsibility because I did not buy the package directly from them - again, very disappointing response. At the end of the tour, we then had to wait another 45 minutes for the other eight passengers, who had been on the Portuguese-language tour, before we could get back into the van. Once again, we were driven all around Santiago for nearly two hours before being the last passengers dropped off at home. We arrived feeling dizzy and with extremely upset stomachs. I would not recommend this tour to anyone under any circumstances. Aside from Marcela, there is nothing positive to highlight. It was an expensive excursion with terrible customer service.
I have done many wine/vineyard tours, this was the best overall experience I have had. The updated or new museum, the tastings, the cellar experience were all fantastic. Highly recommend!!
We opted for the booked direct with Concha y Toro site, offering an extra reasonable charged pick up and drop off at our city hotel.(took under hour to get there) . All worked perfectly. I’d read several negative reviews from folks who’d done a group bus bundle C&T tour, time consuming, unreliable etc. We did the 165 minute tour with icon and premium wines. Generous enough tastes-not thimble fulls;-) The sensory experience was amazing and as delightful to wine enthusiasts like me as well as others. The time flew by. The last wine we tried was the best I have ever tasted, which added to the positive experience. Well done C&T!
My family that lives in Santiago recommended this winery to us. We did the tour with tasting 3 wines. Gonzalo was our guide. He was fabulous - clearly an expert, Gonzalo is engaging, funny, and very knowledgeable! His English was wonderful and easy to understand. (He also speaks Spanish and Portuguese). I highly recommend! Tip: if you come in the winter months of June, July and August, it is MUCH busier as many Brazilians come to tour. There were 15 people on our tour. Gonzalo says he has had as many as 55-60 in one group during this peak time! February and March is the best as you also get to sample grapes off of the vines. Thank you Gonzalo for an excellent experience!!
It's not worth it if you've already visited other wineries, such as those in France or Brazil. It's a beautiful place, like any other winery, and you can also enjoy wine tasting, like any other winery. What really makes the difference is the friendliness and cordiality of the staff. There's none. Everything is automatic, with time and attention to detail. Since I took part in the group tour at the last possible time, I could understand, perhaps, the tiredness and lack of willingness in the service. By the way, if you have any mobility limitations, you won't be allowed to visit the supposed main attraction of the tour: the "casilera del diablo", even though they charge the same price, even though they're aware of the customer's motor disabilities. Don't go! There are other better places in Santiago de Chile.
Had a good experience on the tour. It was interesting to see the gardens and the wine cellar and the tour guide was informative and entertaining. We did the add on wine tasting of four more wines, which felt a little bit rushed, not so much information about the wines as I had wished.
For starters, it is a standard winery tour until you meet the staff: they were wondeful! And the sommelier: such an awesome guy and incrediable experience! After that, I must admit that it is a must-go
There are several better vineyards in that region. Miss this one. Not worth the time. El Principle and Santa Rita are so much better.
I decide to book this directly with Concha y Toro. It was was much cheaper than the tours from here and with and with pickups only from hotels or places in Santiago, it made sense for us to make our own way there. We could have gotten there by Metro and then there are taxi or buses but we decided on an Uber as there were 3 of us and it ended up cheaper this way. Anyway, the tour... we booked the normal tour with the added connoisseur tour which meant a total of 7 wine tasting. The first tour gave you 3 tasters and the connoisseur gave you you 4 more with a selection of cheese specially selected to go with the wine. The place itself was lovely, the guide gave us the history of the vineyard and showed us round, we were able to take pictures etc. There were even some chickens running around freely. The wine tasking was ok, some information but felt it was a bit basic, they did not give you a clean glass for each wine, luckily we had some water so we quickly swished them with water between each tasking. The next connoisseur tasting was good, some lovely wines and the cheeses were good, again the explanation and information regarding each was good. Would I recommend this, yes! I would suggest the connoisseur tasking it was not expensive especially if doing direct with the vineyard. Stay away from the shop... there were so many nice things, from hats, to aprons, to place mats and of course needless to say the wine. I bought far too much! If you go, enjoy. Oh, another thing to point out, they also have a restaurant should you wish to eat there, so unfortunately cannot comment on the food. We didn't as we had plans to go into Santiago to eat.
Fabulous vineyard. I enjoyed every step of the tour. The vineyard is beautiful, and the wine tasting is excellent (not the better wines, but there were very good). The guy who gave us the tour had a lot of knowledge of wines and the vineyard's history. I recommend 100% doing this visit.
we by the ticket for tour on 11.03.20 tour at 16.20 for 8 person. Guide was very unprofessional oriented not of full group just of 4 people I think was interested in tips, cant keep timing of excursion 1.10 h as result we get instead of 3 tasting only 2, pure information about real winery and wine, feeling like in museum where will be present only one wine tank which is not used and wine barrels storage in basement. We are very disjointed for such presentation is not needed to visit winery and price is to high.
Skip the voucher. It was way more trouble than it was worth. No one at the winery could figure out how to use the voucher and we almost missed the tour. Had to wait in line anyway after being directed several different locations to try and redeem. Cheaper at the gate too!!!
Very interesting and concise tour of a winery in Pirque of the biggest South American wine producer, that should be the starting point of exploring the Chilean wineries. We could not book online, because there were some issues on the website with payment, but went on spot and booked the last possible entrance for the day and there were totally 3 families on the tour. Our guide from the winery, Macarena, was fantastic! We had 3 wines to taste (1 white + 2 red) and the glasses were given to us as souvenirs. The winery shop is also very nice. The whole experience was very pleasant and I recommend it to all winelovers who visit Santiago! And book it directly, no need to use third parties, we had the opportunity to compare the total price if you book via an agency (that even missed our reservation and did not pick us up from the hotel) and the actual price we paid for tickets on spot in Concha y Toro winery + transportation to/from our hotel in Santiago (via Uber).
I loved the history of the vineyard. The wines were delicious, and the tour guide was funny. The vineyard was absolutely breath taking. Time was given to take many pictures.
Locals told us that this was the main winery tourists visit when in Santiago although there are plenty others to choose from – Concha y Toro is close to the centre and just 45 mins drive away. There were lots of crowds and queues at the ticket office, with coaches in the car park much like you’d expect at a theme park. It is commercial, but the tour was informative, fun and included 3 wine tastings (2 red, 1 white) along with a free wine glass to take away on our tour. We had a good guide which made the experience all the better. If you’re keen to know more about this winery and have half a day to spare it’s a good option and worth a visit.
I booked a wine tour to visit this winery with my friend but unfortunately we both fell very ill the day before the tour and we were not able to make it, and were flying home the day after so could not reschedule. We cancelled before the tour was due to take place. I wrote to the company asking for a refund or even a part refund but they would not agree. They said we signed up to the conditions on the website, but like I told them the booking form was in Spanish and would not switch to the English version so we had no idea it was non-refundable! Customer service said we could take the tour another time, or give the voucher to family or friends to use within the next year! However, we live 13.5 hour flight away in the UK! So its impossible. Even explaining this they refused a refund. Such an arrogant and unfair company, I am disgusted.
A morning tour from city hotel. Nice to see where concha began, and it’s not near the modern production plant that serves the world. Instead you see a tranquil man made lake site with modern visitor center and restaurant. Nice to buy a few souvenirs and take a few sips of some great quality wines. We would have loved to seen the modern set up with its ware houses. Our guide did not even know if the bottles were made in Chile, nothing about the labels, nothing about blending, just a quick overview of 3 wines a walkabout and the visitors area at the end. Yes nice to see but COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER, so much secrecy about this huge national company.
We went on a night visiting experience, with guide Isidro, who was super attentive and informative, it was an incredible experience and we finished with a wonderful dinner! I highly recommend it!
Loved it!!! It was incredible.. tell the story of the vineyard, there's a moment that gives you a fright, the story is very cool, my daughter loved it, my husband too, the wines are delicious! I highly recommend it!!
You must visit the winery and learn about its history. The pairing is unmissable.
The worst experience I've ever had in my life! I do not recommend!
The immersive experience leaves a lot to be desired: a couple of rooms with posters, simulated aromas and colors, a video that oscillates between a cartoon and corporate propaganda, and a room with photos of people drinking wine. Then they do take you to the winery, not to tell you how the wine is made, but again to put you through another round of animations about a corporate legend where the boss makes a deal with the devil to protect his wealth. They never mention the production process, and it certainly doesn't occur to them to name a single worker involved in the matter. The guide only has room to intervene a couple of times in a school-teacher tone to organize the group: you can't blame her, she does the best she can with a poorly scripted circuit. Finally, the wine tasting arrives, which is really very good, but the tour has by then become quite tedious and is little enjoyed. You can buy bottles there, but the prices are not very different from those you can get in the city. I would only highlight two things: the mapping game on relief maps of mountainous terrain at the beginning of the journey and the beautiful garden of the estate. But it is definitely too little to justify the astronomical price (if it serves as a reference, the visit costs the same as a two-night stay in Valparaíso). With that cost, one can intuit that the winery's fortune was not made so much by the devil taking care of his vineyards against thieves - as the children's story insists - but, rather, by dedicating himself to managing his marketing to the unwary.
Wonderful experience. Camilo's guide was very nice, speaking perfect Portuguese, with good explanations and contextualizations of the environment, family, and culture. In the end, a very complete sensory experience. But I missed the harmonization.
Everything is beautiful, I loved meeting people from Latin America
I loved it, this tour was very good with a tasting of 4 wines, very amazing landscapes, a 10/10 sensory experience; I had Fernando as a guide who made the experience unforgettable, a great guy.
Usual tasting did not present Premium wines and well commercial tour. I would not go with much expectation. Place is beautiful
Everything great! It was a wonderful stay!
The visit is mandatory for those who love wine. Of course, it’s an experience for tourists but it’s not one that’s for getting money without offering something in return. On the contrary. It's all absolutely professional. The guides are excellent and everything is very organized.
It was the only Vinã I visited. The place is very beautiful with views of the mountain range. Our tour included a visit to the 4 wine tasting park and a visit to the museum and cellar. The part of the garden was a little quick, but even so the guide told the story and took photos for the whole group was attentive. The newly inaugurated museum makes a lot of use of visual audio resources with some explanations from the guide, this part of the visit some other groups mixed up our visit which left some more filled environments. Highlight the sensory rooms. Finally, the highlight of the tour was the visit to Cave do Casillero with a video telling the history of the place and a guide that showed the environment for the group. This last guide is also very attentive!!!! Worth a visit!!!
A visit to Concha y Toro is worthwhile, not only because it is the most well-known winemaker in Chile, but especially because of everything it represents for the history and culture of wine in Chile. We went with our little children and the experience was excellent for the whole family. The famous legend of the Casillero del Diablo especially drew their attention, making the tour even more engaging. In addition, the sensory activity was very interesting and well conducted, adding a lot to the experience. As a point of attention, we had a little luck with the guide from the tasting part of Concha y Toro itself. He was Brazilian, but he seemed to be on a bad day, unfriendly, with zero empathy and clearly tired or dismotivated. The presentation of the wines was quite objective and superficial, almost “complying table”, bringing little content or depth on the labels. It is worth noting that there was also a participant in the class that bothered a bit with irrelevant questions, which may have influenced the climate. On the other hand, in the sensory stage, we were led by an excellent Chilean guide: very didactic, participatory and engaging, which made all the difference in the experience. Overall, I highly recommend the tour only so that you are lucky to catch a more lively and willing guide, as this directly impacts the quality of the tour.
The winery is very beautiful, with a great history and excellent wines. We experienced the Marques de Casa Concha wine pairing with cheeses. All the wines and all the cheeses were delicious; the sommelier Jairo was very friendly and conducted the pairing flawlessly. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food was perfect. I ordered an Almaviva which paired wonderfully with the lamb. The vineyard is very beautiful, with a very nice history and great wines. We did the Marques de Casa Concha experience with the harmonization with cheeses. All the wines and all the cheeses were delicious; sommelier Jairo was very friendly and led the harmonization impeccably. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food was perfect. I ordered an Almaviva that matched wonderfully well with the lamb.
Excellent experience. Great wines. Interesting sensory evaluation. Beautiful and unforgettable oasis. I recommend.
Beautiful gardens, a good, interactive and technological experience, but disappointing tasting, made standing, in the heat, guide in a hurry to finish. Uncomfortable up. Worth without much expectation..
There are several options for the tour and you will surely find one that fits your needs. You will arrive from the center of Santiago in just over an hour by car. We booked a guided tour (the museum is worth it) with a tasting of several glasses and completed with a gastronomic experience of six tapas that paired with as many wines (different from the previous ones). Council: They are generous in serving wine. Don't abuse...
The guide was not a person who generates a rich experience and is monotonous, along with it you have expectations that you will taste a different wine than those sold in supermarkets, it is not a wow experience.. as it is in other vineyards. Mario Antinao, was not affable and did not generate connection with the group and even with bad comments. The place beautiful, beautiful gardens, but the vineyards you will see are exhibition. Made for the visit.
The visit to Concha y Toro fue will certainly be one of the best memories of the trip. We had the opportunity to learn about the history of the vineyard, taste and learn about the types of wines. The tasting with the sommelier was very interesting and we had time to enjoy it. Fully recommended.
Luis took us to Concha y Toro to make the tour. The vineyard is sensational and the super nice tour with explanations from the vineyard guide.
Excellent experience in this tour of this wine field, and enlivened by Sebastian actor with the character of Isidro , very pleasant and very well personalized, we took it with dinner that was delicious
Tour Premium+ Marques Casa Concha Gonçalo made all the difference on the tour. It was an incredible experience! Excellent wines
We went on the Premium tour and everything was well explained and interesting. The place is charming and our guide was wonderful in explaining each place
I have visited wineries in the San Francisco Valley, Pernambuco, Gramado and Uruguay. I love these walks. In this month of August 2025, me and 4 friends went by Enterprise Zerando Chile. Unfortunately, none of us liked it. We did not understand what the guide said. She didn't mind waiting for everyone to come and give her information. I felt a rush because another group was coming after. We understood the explanation of the origin of the name of the wine Casillero del diablo, and it was interesting. The problem is the rest of the attraction was just about the devil. I found the focus unnecessary. It was not the wine itself, but the devil. As you walk, you have the voice of the devil, the hologram of the Devil and the amount of barrels of wine was 666. If they find it interesting, I respect it, but I found it uncomfortable to have this in the joke. On site, they sell toucas with devil's horns. I believe that the strength of wine is the quality and not the reference to the devil. Well... The positive part: Finally, there is the wine tasting. The guide well explained some relevant aspects of the wine. That was important and valid.
Tour very fast and running, the guide gets rushing to everyone. Speaking of guide...was sarcastic with the customers, without patience to answer the questions. I understand it must be a repetitive work but for the visitor it is a unique walk. I've been to other wineries and always served grape juices for my son. Concha y Toro offered a can juice of a brand x right at the entrance, horrible by the way, my son threw out, it was water with purple dye. Anyway, I expected much more from Concha y Toro. I spoke to a lady who was in the same group and had gone to Undurraga the day before and said it was much better. Oh not to mention that the value of the wine in the winemaker is more expensive than in the Jumbo Supermarket, that comes to be ridiculous.
My experience was awful, I was with my son on my lap, it was raining and the girl wanted me to wait outside, I said that I would wait inside the shop until I started a walk, they didn't let me go back for a walk, and yet one of the guides was super arrogant with me, I had to wait with my son on my lap until I finished a walk, because they didn't even let My husband got out of the walk to look for me, finally, I paid for the walk and couldn't do, I'm very upset
Dear, I come to express my dissatisfaction with the attention received at the tour of Concha y Toro, scheduled for the day 22/08/2025, at 16h10. We were on the spot at the right time, but as it rained intense and there were three children with us, we sought temporary shelter at the restaurant. Although we have warned the guide, at no time has there been understanding or support. On the contrary, the orientation was just to “wait in the rain,” which we considered totally inappropriate in the face of the situation. The group left without our participation, and there was not even the option to relocate to the next time, which caused us great frustration. We understand that rules exist, but we also believe that common sense and empathy should prevail, especially when there are children involved. The experience ended up being negative and very far from the standard of hospitality that we expected from such a renowned winemaker. We demand an analysis of what happened and a fair solution, either through reconsideration or other form of compensation, because we consider that there was no failure on our part. Cordially
Dear, I would like to register a complaint regarding the experience experienced on the Concha y Toro tour on 22/08/2025, scheduled for 16h10. We arrived at the right time and were present, but due to the heavy rain and the fact that we were accompanied by three children, we sought shelter in the restaurant. We informed the responsible guide of the situation, but unfortunately there was no understanding or empathy in the face of the circumstances. We were directed only to wait in the rain, which would be impractical to prevent the children from getting sick. To our surprise and disappointment, the group left without us, even though there was no delay on our part. In addition, the possibility of participation in the next hour was not offered, which completely compromised the planned experience. We emphasize that there was no breach of schedule on our part, but rather a situation of force majeure (intensive rain), in which we only seek to safeguard the health of the children. We understand that a tourist Service of this size should be valued for good service, flexibility and care with visitors. We therefore request an official position regarding what happened and measures for compensation, since we had the ride frustrated unnecessarily.
I came in 2023 and the experience was superior, now much more hasty, many groups at once, less wine in the tastings. Much better macul cousiño considering price and quality of visit
It is worth the class of tastes and odors grapes from planting, with tasting everything extremely thought for wine lovers.
A fantastic place the treatment of your guides very well, in winter is not so recommended, however all wonderful, the impressive cellars and the history of the devil's locker.
Simply perfect, very attentive guide, explaining everything in a super easy to understand way, well-explained stories of the name and tasty wines
