Great introduction to Santiago and its history. Joaquin was very knowledgeable and passionate about Chile. Easy walk & highly recommended.

Mauricio was an amazing guide. He was so funny and informative. He showed us around Santiago and brought us to places we would not have found on our own. He taught us history of Chile and explained explained how and why Santiago was founded. He took us to get an empanada that he personally recommended. I asked him about lapis lazuli and at the end of our tour drove us to a local place to buy some without pressure and where we trusted we got a reasonable price. Unfortunately I forgot my jacket in his car and he went out of his way to return it to me. That was really going above and beyond great customer service!
Victor was a fun and knowledgeable guide great fun and good daytrip. The stops were long enough to really see the sights. Changing of the guard was especially interesting to see.
Enjoyable and informative tour. Enthusiastic guide. Appreciated getting out and about to see things I may not have otherwise. It was great to be able to get out and walk to experience much of the tour.
We signed up for an English-guided tour. The tour company couldn't provide us a pick-up time until around 8:30 pm the night before. Our guide, Stephanie, picked us up at the time as related the night before via WhatsApp. We were not informed the tour would be conducted in English and Spanish until the last couple was picked up, a total of 8 on the tour. There were stops/things omitted from the itinerary, i.e. the Jokey Club, changing of the guard, etc. We spent half of the tour waiting for the tour guide to answer the Spanish-speaking couple's questions and I'm sure they were just as bored standing around waiting for the tour guide to explain things to the English-speaking group of the tour. Overall, a very disappointing tour, we would NOT have signed up for a dual-language tour.
I booked the tour through the hotel. Our guide was excellent. He had a lot of knowledge he willingly shared about the country and its history. We managed to see most of the districts of the city and after our 4 hours had an excellent idea about the area. It's interesting in that the city sets in a valley surrounded by mountains. The central park dividing the city is actually a small mountain, called the "sleeping dragon."
Adequate city tour. Gives you an idea about the city and its history. Could have been better if they had taken us on the funicular as part of the tour rather than taking you there then telling us we have to pay to go up
Was very enjoyable, visiting a popular food market, given time to walk freely through a park, visiting a historic fort in the heart of the city, all accompannied by a friendly and knowledgable native tour guide who filled us in with history and recent events. Hector knows his stuff.
Booked a half day tour of Santiago. Confirmed, paid, stood up. No answer at “emergency” number on tour ticket. Now wasted all morning and will have to fight to get refund? Better skip Viator.
Gabriel is the best! We did several tours with him. This was an easy/fast way to see the "must-do sites" in Santiago. Would highly recommend!
Gabriel was a very knowledgeable tour guide who was articulate in early history of Santiago to present. He was able to make recommendations of other restaurants and sites to see during our visit to Chile. We enjoyed his tour so much we booked another tour to visit Portillo and visit a winery. We especially enjoyed his recommendation to eat lunch at Vina Santa Rita in Maipo Valley the next day.
Professional and informative guide who made adjustments based on the tourists she had. Perfect overview of the city. Pleasant personality and obviously takes pride in her work. A must for first-time visitors. I highly recommend.
Microphone problems, so you couldn’t understand anything the first hour. Guide should have tried to speak without the device. Unnecessary bathroom stop in the first 40 minutes. Tour of Valparaiso was overdone. It could have been covered in 45 minutes less. Did not appreciate not having choice of where to have lunch. Where we stopped was overpriced, suggesting that the tour company and restaurant have an “arrangement.” We should have stopped in the center of Vina Del Mar, where lots of dining choices were available. Tour guide was ok but English left something to be desired.
This tour was a good overview of the city and allowed us to see the main sights by car - and some by foot. We got a summary of the culture and history- and a good review of the current problems.
Great experience! Pleasant driver and friendly intelligent guide. Beautiful city! Saw so much quickly and completely!
Our guide/driver, Leo, was relaxed, accommodating (stopped so we could get a coffee), knowledgable about Santiago complete with dates, and an excellent driver (no tension in the car). His tour provided us with an overview of the whole city, not just the historical core. The city is beautiful and if we hadn’t taken this tour our impression might be different. He stopped at key sites giving us time to get out of the car and see the site (eg. Cathedral, Santa Lucía Hill, etc). Highly recommend this 1/2 day tour in a very comfortable auto.
Bus was over an hour late arriving. The tour guide did her best to make up for the delay but it became a 7 hour experience instead of 4.5. The sights and commentary were very interesting. There's quite a lot of walking involved so wear comfortable shoes. Lunch was at a nice restaurant but it is a seafood restaurant so be aware if you don't like seafood!
We enjoyed the tour of the city. Our guide Carolina was informative and interesting. The van was clean and cool. Unfortunately it was Sunday so a lot of shops And businesses were closed and we did not get a typical feel for the city. However, traffic was light. Good overall way to get oriented to the city.
The tour provided a very good overview of the Santiago City area. The tour leader was knowledgeable about the area and was very willing to answer tour participants questions.
Great tour and guide. Would be nice to have a longer tour available (6 hours?). Guide was very informative.
Gabrielle , our guide was an absolute font of information. Told us loads about the country’s and city's History. Was perfectly punctual, car was very comfortable and clean. Communication prompt. Gabrielle has a great sense of humour and his English is perfect. We had adequate free time at various spots and did not feel rushed. If you have half a day to take in the major sights , this is the trip for you.
Went on this tour yesterday. Was an excellent way to see Santiago at the start of our trip. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable with excellent English as he had lived in the US. We saw all the highlights and he was incredibly informative about all things not just in Chile but South America in general. We ended up just the 2 of us on this tour. So very private tour indeed. Highly recommended, especially if you do not have a lot of time in Santiago.
We had a lovely time with Reuben our guide. He picked us up directly from the flat we were staying. He allowed us to take our time and was really friendly and full of information. We went around in a comfortable minivan that fit a small group of six of us. We had a lot of varied experiences and fit in so much! Lots of great pictures, views and fun activities. Very much recommended.
Rubeen was excellent guide, his English was excellent, his knowldge of Santiago and south America was very imformative and entertaining, Mercedes van was very comfortable and it was at the end a private tour for our family of three. I higly recomend this tour.
I really loved this tour. I had flown in to Santiago the morning before, and wandered around a bit on my own. I never know what I'm looking at! So glad that I scheduled this tour for the next morning. Ruben picked me up right on time, and took me for a wonderful drive around the city, up the hill in the Los Condes area where the views are beautiful! He was very informative and knows a tremendous amount about the city. Once we returned to the city center, we walked around and he showed me so much. Great recommendations for museums and restaurants. Highly recommend beginning your stay in Santiago with this tour.
This tour was just what we needed as an introduction to the beautiful city of Santiago, Chile. Our guide Jose was right on time for our pickup and his English was very good considering he spoke a number of languages. Presidents of South America were in town which closed off some of the streets but Jose found other ways around them very easily. The tour was a great way to see the highlights of the city and we can highly recommend this tour and guide to anyone looking for a good tour of the city.

After receiving an email a couple of days before the tour we were slightly concerned that it may not take place but as it turned out we needn't have been as we were the only two people on the tour. Our guide Eugenio was extremely knowledgeable about Santiago and went into lots of detail about the city and also the political and financial situation in Chile. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an overview of Santiago

This was ou first time in Chile. Our guide was Claudio. He picked us up at our hotel exactly on time. The tour was s great overview of Santiago. It included Santa Lucia, the Presidents palace with changing of the guard, and Plaza des Armes. Overall, we saw enough that we felt comfortable touring on our own after this tour.

This really is a great way to see the highlights of Santiago. The tour guide Fransisco couldn't have been friendlier, more enthusiastic and knowledgeable.. We were here for just two nights prior to joining a cruise so very limited time to see the city. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour gave us a flavor of the city. We were able to get lots of information about places we could visit so we could tailor the rest of our time in Santiago more efficiently. Gabriel was very knowledgable and personable.

Excellent tour. We saw all we wanted to see in a non rushed way and even stopped for an ice cream on the hill in the city. The guide / driver was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The vehicle was comfortable and he even helped with my mobility scooter.

Christian you were fabulous. We loved the time spent in the park donated to the city, and also the park with the flamingos and two adorable little boys who ran up to us and asked for 'an abrazo'. I looked them over quickly pickpockets perhaps, but then noticed that there was a man with a group of children and they said he was their teacher. What a shame we did not have a camera with us at the time - it wasn't only the hug they asked for but also a kiss! Two little lady killers in the making!? They were totally adorable. Gauchos dancing in the street was an added attraction.

On 07/01 we made a tour in Santiago accompanied by the tourist guide Cinthia. We would like to thank you for the explanations about the history, culture and the characters who have been and are present in this beautiful city of Santiago. Obrigada, Cinthia! Zenaide, Teresinha Marisa, Jonas and João Paulo
Un paseo interesante por los lugares más emblemáticos de la historia de Chile. También recorrimos con la minivan los diferentes barrios de la ciudad.
Patrício is a guide with a lot of patience and provided us with an excellent afternoon of tour and knowledge.
Although half a day is little time to get to know Santiago, I believe that if the departure time and better organization of the time were respected, we could have better taken advantage of the City Tour, gave to have a notion of the direction and some tourist sights like the CENTRO CULTURAL LA MONEDA, the central avenue, some squares, but still I think that could have been better taken advantage of the time.
