Full Day Tour In Valparaiso And Vina Del Mar

I thought Pablo was great, however I thought I was going on an English speaking tour, not an English and Portuguese tour. I would have preferred if you were up front about this. I was hoping to meet other English speakers, but we were the only two on the tour. Although I enjoyed Valparaiso, it seemed to be the main (85%) of the tour. I was expecting a more even split between the two locations.

It was the first time in all my travels around the world that a tour company failed to show up for a hotel pick‑up. There was absolutely no communication beforehand. The only instruction at booking was to be at my hotel reception at 6 AM, which I was. I arrived even earlier, and by 7:30 AM there was still no sign of the company. I tried calling the number they provided, but all I got was a recorded message saying the number was restricted. I asked the hotel reception to try calling as well, but they had no success either. I sent several messages through the Viator app, no response that day, and still no response almost a week later. No apology, nothing. At 8 AM I gave up and went to Valparaiso on my own by public bus. I’m giving two stars only because I received a refund the following day. Do not book this tour.

I had a fantastic time on this tour to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. Even with a bit of rain, the day was filled with beautiful highlights — especially the stunning drive through the mountains on the way to the coast. Our guide Rafael was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and great at sharing history, culture, and fun local insights. The driver was also wonderful, navigating the mountain roads smoothly and safely. The music playlist in the van made the ride even more enjoyable and set a great vibe for the day. From the colorful hillsides of Valparaíso to the coastal views in Viña del Mar, this tour was a perfect way to experience a different side of Chile. Highly recommend!

The bus was designed for children and not adults. There was insufficient legroom, your knees hit the seat in front of you, seats were too narrow, the aisles were not wide enough for most adults to pass through. If the person in front of you reclined their seat, their head was in your lap. The guide was good but the transportation was terrible!

No communication. Nobody told me if it was canceled or forgot me. Wait two hours at the pick up point. nothing

They told me that they would be at my hotel at 6 AM. They never showed up. I was quite irritated andwhen I called, all I got was a recording.

The tour included a visit to Pablo Neruda's house museum, La Sebastiana, but we were prevented from doing so. When we asked for explanations, we were told that the tour operator from whom we had booked the trip had "redirected" us to another tour operator at the last minute. Their itinerary did not include that stop. Despite the professionalism and courtesy of the guide, we returned home very disappointed for not being able to visit the museum.

This tour did not follow the complete itinerary. The tour guide said his company was a subcontractor and they had a different itinerary. Be aware that this tour may not be what is advertised.

Great great tour, do not hesitate to book. Neil was great!!! He was very helpful and happy, very informative and knowledgeable. He took us to great places in Valparaiso and Vina Del Mar. We felt very safe! Everything was perfect.

The agency was good and responds fast to any questions. However, our guide Valentina was no so good. We were taken to a tourist trap in Viña Del Mar, we were taken to Chinqui restaurant a super expensive restaurant where we felt obligated/forced to eat there, she did not tell anybody that it was our last stop and to go explore the town after lunch (I did) but a lot of people didn’t because they were under the impression that we were going to continue with the tour. We should have the options or given the options to eat anywhere we want and not to be taken to that expensive place and pretty much be forced to eat there. The picture of the meal im leaving here was $36 dollars which it was ridiculous. The food is not great the salad was whole leaves of lettuce, no dressing or lime even when I asked for it. Valentina created a WhatsApp group and told everybody she was going to send us a link to leave a review but she removes the people she think were not satisfied with the tour so we don’t leave reviews. She really needs to communicate and be clear with the itinerary. Again the agency was good and if you do this tour make sure you find your own place to eat. Definitely avoid Chinqui restaurant…or avoid any restaurant your guide takes you to, find your own you will find better and cheaper food…

We had the best experience on our tour speacilly thanks to our guide Marcos Flores who is the best ever!! Extremely dedicated, funny and engaging. During the tour he gave all kinds of information about history, geography and curiosities about the places we would pass by. He took extra care to always provide this information in two languages, Brazilian Portuguese and English. Both done perfectly. We were so pleased that we booked another trip with him for the next day. thanks for a really cool day Marcos and the all team from Aprendi a Viajar!! Keep up the amazing work!

On the tour to Valparaíso, the guide was overbearing at all times and 0 percent flexible with us; additionally, due to weather issues, we were unable to take a tour and to this day they have not given us any refund and they do not provide exact dates either.

Terrible service. The customer service staff was rude and unprofessional, and after more than two months they still have not fulfilled the promised refund. Very bad experience and zero professionalism with the customer.

This is my second trip to Chile, the first time I hired the services of Agência Aprendi a Viajar Chile, and everything went well, so I hired them again, and we were very well served, the staff is always helpful, the guide Lizzette is very nice, she explained everything correctly about the history of Valparaiso, in short, we were very satisfied with the service provided to us.

We made this tour and another to Maipo Cajon. We loved them both. Complete and very good guides. We liked the walk through Valparaiso and when we were free time on the vineyard beach. We did not like the vineyard restaurant as the food is expensive for the basics of the dishes. The one in the maipo drawer was amazing from start to finish

Although the weather did not help, much rain, the driver Carlos and the guide Lisete, tried to provide the best experience possible, in front of the scene. In the end, I loved the experience and witness the professionalism of both.

We made the tour with the best tour guide I've ever seen! The city is already beautiful, full of life, art from every corner and the tour became even better with the guide Alex Ruedlinger who animated the whole trip! What a lovely walk! Just gratitude! The guide Fernando, who took us, was fantastic, told us many stories (and he knows many), about the cities of Vina Del Mar and Valparaíso, took us to beautiful places, with colorful houses, took us in hills, introduced us to the funicular and showed us places to take wonderful photos. The tour I didn't want to do, I went more for my wife, and it was SENSACIONAL the best of the four we did with APRENDI TO VIAJAR. Nothing better than pick up a qualified guide and a class from the top ride. Our GUIDE was O FERNANDO, a Chilean who made us immerse in the stories, interact and full of content. Perfect travel timetable, both cities are beautiful. Negative point was the lunch, the restaurant has a low rating, is not for the least. But, there are other restaurants nearby. (88)98844-1796

Valparaíso is a city formed by several hills facing the sea (Pacific), with a very colorful and pleasant visual aspect, different from Brazilian cities. The tour iclui many places with interesting and beautiful stories for photos.

The tour and our guide Alex Ruedlinger were amazing. I only leave a reservation for agency, which has a very bad (delayed) communication to deal with matters after the purchase.
