We'll depart at 08:00 hrs from your Hotel and drive 2,30 hrs to Clos Apalta winery and experience their Explore the vineyard tour. Explore our historic Clos Apalta Vineyard, with a private walk around the vineyard, where our vines planted in 1907, stand as one of the world's oldest. Immerse yourself in our commitment to viticulture, boasting organic practices. Dive into the intricacies of vineyard management guided by our experienced hosts, culminating in an unforgettable wine tasting. The experience last approximately 60 minutes, offered in English, Portuguese or Spanish. Our next stop will be at Apaltagua winery to enjoy two of their Icon wines by glass. The winery’s vineyards, some of which are over 70 years old, produce a range of varietals including Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Chardonnay. Notably, Apaltagua is renowned for its Carmenère, with the “Envero” Gran Reserva and “Signature” lines receiving international acclaim.

Excellent experience. Rodrigo was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The wineries provided a good sampling of the Carmenere and Carmenere blends. Lunch at Monte was incredible and it is one of the top-rated wineries in the world. A very worthwhile trip for wine lovers.
We had a great trip to the Colchagua Valley from Santiago with Leo. The communication with the Ecotours team was clear when one of the Vineyards wasn't available for our date. Leo was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about Chile and wine. I was traveling with my grandparents, so this was the perfect way to easily see the countryside without having to deal with logistics and planning. The vineyards were all absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to return!
We had the best time on our private wine tour with our driver, Leo. He was punctual, professional, knowledgable, and genuinely kind. Leo knew so much about the history of Chile, which was helpful to us to understand more of the background than what we have already been told. We visited Clos de Apalta, Neyen, and Montes with lunch at Fuego de Apalta (a must!). The food was delicious. Overall, highly recommend Cristian and Leo for a private wine tour. I normally don’t write reviews but had to for this one as the experience truly exceeded my expectations. Folks, please ask for Matthias as your tour guide for this private trip! His knowledge of Chilean wines, vineyards, and the history of the region is incredibly impressive. Matthias was not only informative, but he was also super prompt and made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. It felt more like a conversation with a friend than a tour guide. If you're considering a wine tour, I highly recommend booking a private tour with Matthias—he’s truly the best!

I would highly recommend the private wine tour with Leo. We were picked up promptly from our hotel and driven to 3 distinctive wineries where arrangements had been prearranged for private or semiprivate tours and tastings. Leo was very knowledgeable of the regions and wines! Our lunch at Fuegos de Apalta was an unexpected and wonderful surprise.

Our ride with Rodrigo and the three wine tours were all excellent. Rodrigo is a good driver and was very engaging during the drives. All the wineries had wonderful tours and tastings. Our hosts at each stop were very good and very capable and willing to speak English, despite also having Spanish speaking guests in our group. We would certainly consider using this service for future tours in and around Santiago.

Santiago first-timer here, and I will be back! Wine was the driver behind this trip and this tour did not disappoint. We were picked up promptly at the hotel for the drive to the first winery. Side note- recommend eating breakfast before you leave (want to give yourself a solid chance during all the wine tastings). Each winery was incredible-- beautiful views and property, great tour guides and, of course, fantastic tastings. I was blown away by the views at Clos Apalta and the property at Maquis. Lunch at Montes was fantastic. If you're a wine lover- absolutely book this tour!
Very good experience with this company. I asked them to put together a custom tour for me to visit VIK and Clos apalta…they were one of very few companies able to accommodate the request and at a much more reasonable price than the others. Provided a driver and a guide that were both very good. Email communication while setting up the tour and leading up to it were great.
Great experience! Maquis and Clos Apalta were absolutely amazing wineries. And we ended the tour with a stop at a wine shop/hotel with an incredible view for some tastings. Our driver, Jose, was very nice and got us where we needed to be on time:). I would definitely book this tour again.

At last we decided for the Colchagua De Luxe wine tour for a group of 4 friends departing early from Santiago. A great experience with driver/guide Mauricio and visiting 2 wineries and delicious cuisine at Montes restaurant. The last stop was superb, with a beautiful views of the Apalta valley and a real nice wine tasting. I totally reccomend this tour to any wine lovers that want a personalized private experience. I came to a wine fair in Santiago and took the opportunity to look for alternatives to do a full day tour to some wineries. Looking for information I found the Ecotours team that both on their website and on Tripadvisor has the detailed and updated information. Booking the tour was easy and quick. The communication was 100% through electronic chorea which responded to me in a timely manner. It was even easy for me to make payment from outside through a payment link. Our private tour was conducted by Matías, an excellent tourism professional with whom we could talk about wines, national context and curiosities of the routes we traveled together from 9:00 to 21:00. I highly emphasize his kindness, sense of humor and great knowledge of multiple subjects. In this visit we met the Maturana and VIK wineries and had lunch at Fuegos de Apalta de la Bodega Montes. We move in a modern and safe vehicle. Everything was coordinated perfectly and we had a very nice day. I recommend this private tour that can be customized for those who know a lot or who know little about wines. Everything was top notch.
