Amazing- I loved every second of it . Our guide was very very knowledgeable and entertaining - one the vineyard I will always remember - the guide for our night tour for 7pm tour was really really the best I knew nothing going on but will be going back with friends - coordinated the uber with the website it made everything that much more simple- I got off the plane and this was a great way to kick off Santiago’s wine

Excellent experience like when you’re free to taste different grapes from they make the wine., admission fee is Ok considering you are having wine tasting and dinner. Normally it takes more than 3 hours if you extend the dinner time. Take into account if you’re making an Uber reserve.
Fantastic and really unique experience - unlike any winery tour I've ever done! Dinner was excelent too - definitely recommend the pastel de choclo. Highly recommend!
The guide was not very patient and explained everything extremely quickly, leaving barely any time for photos or questions. The tour was also too crowded, and my wife and I had no place to sit during the 'Casillero del Diablo' history presentation — we had to sit on the floor. During the wine tasting, the wines were fine, but there was no available space at the bar for us. The souvenir shop’s products could be more reasonably priced, especially considering that Concha y Toro's main focus should be on selling quality wines rather than profiting from souvenirs. In fact, some wines were cheaper at local markets than in the store.
If you're the kind of traveler who craves something a little mysterious, a little theatrical, and completely unforgettable—this is the night tour for you. We booked the Devil’s Locker Night Tour with dinner, as a group of curious friends looking for something off the beaten path—and it absolutely blew our minds. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was electric. Dramatic lighting, eerie music, and a guide who could double as a stage actor—every detail pulled us deeper into the story. The “locker” itself is immersive and dark in all the right ways. It felt like part haunted house, part folklore, part underground theatre. There were moments that gave us chills, and others that had us laughing nervously—pure adrenaline mixed with cultural storytelling. This is not your average tourist trap. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get any more surreal, we were ushered into Shell and Bull for dinner. The ambiance was rustic-chic, with glowing lanterns and dramatic shadows cast on old stone walls. The food? Incredible. Smoky grilled meats, rich local wines, and hearty sides that felt both gourmet and grounded. It was exactly what we needed to come back down to earth after the wild ride through the Locker. This experience was so much more than just dinner and a tour—it was a full-blown performance, a sensory adventure, and a night we’ll be talking about for years. Go with friends, lean into the drama, and don’t be afraid of the dark. Rating: 5/5 – Spooky, stylish, and sensational. Book it.
When we booked our tour to one of the oldest wineries in Chile we did not realise that it was the Casillero del Diablo winery. A wine we drink in Australia. We had a wonderful day with Lunch and wine tasting. The gardens are just stunning.
This winery is so interesting with historic buildings, grand views of lovely gardens, grape vineyards, cellar and tasting rooms...we enjoyed a lovely day here, away from the city.
We took this winery tour as part of our private day tour with I Love Chile Tours. Concho Y Toro Winery--the largest wine producer in Latin America and fifth largest in the world--is famous for the Castillero del Diablo brand. The winery tour was enjoyable but was very commercial and 'showy' (e.g., a light show in the cellars) concentrating more on the history of the beautiful vineyard rather than on their grapes, wines and production. There were three included tastings. Our guide, Jesus, was excellent--laid-back and personable.
We had a great tour the guide was very informative and friendly. The wine without doubt was extremely nice and continues to live up to its reputation We decided not go on a organized bus tour and had a great day getting to and from the vineyard. It’s very simple to undertake. Metro to Plaza Alto and then taxi to vineyard.
We booked an afternoon tour from Santiago. It took around an hour to get to the vineyard. The setting of the old summer residence, the gardens, the vineyard and the lake is stunningly beautiful. We were booked on the English tour and our guide was very informative. We got to sample three different wines and got to keep the glasses in the end. We learnt all about the history of Casillero del Diablo which is a very common wine here in Britain. It was all very interesting and I can only recommend this trip!
Terrible experience for the price-quality ratio and the expectations we had due to its great prestige as a vineyard of international excellence. The transfer was a nightmare; the vehicle, which we thought was an internal transport of the vineyard, arrived late for the pickup time, and to cover a great distance, it took us at full speed through streets adjacent to highways and extremely dangerous neighborhoods, because the vehicles for the trip there and back did not have a Tag to enter the highways precisely. The short walk through the vineyard was disappointing; we only toured some gardens and could not enter the museum, then they take you to the cellar, where one expects something exciting... It is just a short tour where they project some quite basic and disappointing videos in the dark. Then came the tasting; we were gifted a glass with the vineyard's logo, but they made us taste three different wines in that same glass, which deeply caught our attention, as the experience of TASTING has nothing to do with this. The guide handed out two sheets of paper towels for the three of us and for two other people who shared with us, to clean, dry, and store the glasses; we asked her for more because obviously it was very little material for the 5 of us, and she said she didn't have any more... I found it absolutely terrible; how can a vineyard not have staff who worry about the number of people they will receive in each group taking a tour, and sufficient and adequate material for tasting (glasses to try each varietal). This ends and they take us to the shop, which I thought was fine for buying souvenirs. Dinner was fine until we asked the restaurant waiters who would guide us for the return trip, as there was no guide anymore. They told us they had no idea, that we had to go out to the ticket office. Upon leaving with very little lighting, we got lost in the gardens, and if it weren't for the guide who was leading the next group and showed us how to get out, we would have been very lost. Upon arriving at the ticket office, it was already closed; we became increasingly nervous because we were very far from our lodging without knowing how to solve our return, luckily a young man leaving his shift at the door connected us with the Ubers they use, but he left and the driver who accepted the ride canceled on us. We continued asking the security guard at the gate to help us, and he only told us that he couldn't do anything and that we should go back inside to the souvenir shop to ask for help. We begged him to contact them himself, but he replied that he had no communication with either the restaurant or the shop. We stayed there for half an hour until I received a message that another vehicle would come to pick us up. I asked the driver to take us via the highway, and he said he couldn't because he didn't have a Tag, so again we went through frontage roads and side streets. A horrible experience, stressed on the way there, worse on the way back due to the time and how long it took us to reach our destination, disappointed with a tour that promised to be a great experience, especially for me as a Chilean returning to my country for a visit, since I had only spoken wonders to my relatives who are foreigners, and this was a true fiasco. I certainly do not recommend it and I wanted to point this out because I understood why Chileans do not go (the majority are Brazilian); even the waiter was surprised to hear me speak, as he told me clearly that a large percentage of visitors are foreigners. I am lucky enough to be able to travel and I have had great experiences at vineyards in other places.
I was in doubt about this tour because there were many mentions that it was a somewhat touristy program. However, it was a pleasant surprise, as the place is very beautiful and well-kept. In particular, the tour guide, named Melissa, was another highlight: super attentive and, speaking Portuguese, she told the whole history of the winery, making the tour even more pleasant. I was impressed with the level of organization of the winery. There was a tasting of 4 wines and we received the glasses as a gift, which was a nice initiative. The Casillero presentation was another attraction that surprised with its quality, and in the end, there was still the winery's shop with a huge variety of wines and many articles and souvenirs. At this point, do not expect inviting prices. Overall, it was a very pleasant morning and I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a first experience in the world of wine.
I do not recommend it if you know wines and other wineries well. We did the tour at night with dinner at the winery. They rule the amount of wines and cannot repeat. It's more theatrical than a wine experience. Dinner only had 1 meat option, appetizer, and dessert. On the day there was meat tartare, pork, and dulce de leche crepe with ice cream. It was a 6/10. Honestly, I have visited several wineries in Brazil and outside of Brazil and it was my worst experience. We asked for more wine a couple of times and they refused. They said it had to be bought. If you don't like the options, you go without eating.... The explanations are more about the history of the winery and less about the wines. I recommend Undurraga, Alyam, and Casa del Bosque. Much better ...
Different experience, we know the vineyard and its history. We tasted some glasses of wine, there was a dinner of 3 stages. The dishes were delicious. We visited the store too! Quite a choice of wine.
I await all of you to discover the secrets of the devil's locker.
Well organized you feel well the atmosphere of the experience. All very fun and combined with tasting + dinner
Funny, we love to know about the story of Casillero del Diablo! Wonderful wines, delicious dinner. We really love
Excursion through the Vinicula, with guide Evelin, speaking Portuguese, explained to us in detail, how it was the beginning of the Vinicula, the kind of trees that make up the park, and everything about the wine.
Excellent service especially from Polet Cruz
Carlos Lyon best guide of the place, sympathy and excellence, explain every detail and humour unparalleled
A spectacular day of wine and tapas thanks to Marcelo , Julio and Mauritius for their great attention a whole show
Sensational! The place is beautiful, the excellent service and the guide who made the night experience dominates the topic of the Vinícola. The experience was too much! The dinner was also very delicious.
I purchased the evening visitation with dinner in advance. We arrived half an hour in advance and to our surprise they had simply canceled! Not sent if you want an email warning! I'm fighting up to hj to get my money back and nothing! What an absurd, profit-oriented Enterprise! I got to talk, the tickets, everything registered. Good until today 26 August 2026 Vinicola Concha Y Toro has not returned my money!
Much marketing/photo and little quality experience. We really liked wine and, due to some external insistence, decided to make Concha y Toro. We took the night tour because we thought it would be different from the tour that happens during the day, we thought it would be more differentiated and with better wines. About the wine, they were good, but the dinner was a lot of running. We know the garden during the night, which I do not recommend because during the day it should be much more beautiful. About dinner, we arrived at the restaurant at 21:15, and at 21:45 we should already be in the van to return to Santiago. Conclusion: we ate running, it was not possible to appreciate the food (3 steps) and the wines (2 types of wine) served calmly. I don't think it's worth it if you want to know something more technical about the production of wines. It is a tour that speaks superficially about the history of the family. Very instagramavel for being a very beautiful winery and maybe the most known worldwide. But for those who understand the subject and like wines, it is not the best place to visit.
Excellent visitation, the place is beautiful and everything very organized and well thought out. Tasting of 5 wines. The guide Isidro simply fantastic, very dedicated and charismatic. We ended with an excellent dinner at the wine restaurant. I would definitely repeat
The wonderful tour, by the vineyard, but the dinner was memorable..indico..incredible..reserveed with sousastur..show
NIGHT TOUR I was in many vineyards and CyT’s night tour turned the corner that traditional wineries needed. The tour with the good actor Ariel(Isidro) is very fun, without leaving aside the educational side. Logically, innocent the argument, but it brings the different touch to this wine tour, (of which there are hundreds, all similar). I admit that I have tasted better wines in other wineries, but the tour was never so affable. Very good service from the waiters. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for renovations (January 2025). I have no doubt the new one will be wonderful.
The biggest frustration of the tour at Concha y Toro was to hear that the projector broke 4 months ago so there would be no video of Casillero del Diablo, which is displayed inside the cellar in a very cool atmosphere, well the face of Concha Y Toro, very popular for those who are not Expert in wines but appreciate the moments and the culture of the vineyards. The store remains very good, improved many gifts and wine options, already the tasting is quite simple, nothing very professional.. another reason to make the "fireworks" work well.. a pity, so many sessions of the "tour" and not prioritize $$ for a Reservation or repair projector.
We made the visit to the vineyard with a very good Guide, Felipe, told us all the story of the family Concha y Toro, the production of the wines and curiosities about the "Casillero del Diablo", very beautiful place, very interesting, worth it!
Vale a pena!
Vale a pena conhecer...
