We had an absolutely brilliant trip with Pablo and Alex!! They made your day so much fun and made sure we got to take the whole experience in. It was a really relaxed and enjoyable day where we didn’t feel rushed even though we had quite a few stops to make! The transport was clean, modern and comfortable. The pickup process was easy and everything was punctual. Pablo created a fun atmosphere and made sure we got all the pictures we needed. I cannot recommend this experience enough! 10/10

Had a lovely trip with Alex, our driver, and Fran, our very knowledgeable guide. The Andes mountains are a sight to see, as is the lagoon, and the wine at the end was great
Had a wonderful day out exploring the Andes mountains, snow fields, Llamas, winery wine tasting. Fran was a great guide full of great information, Alex was a great driver. Thank you for the lovely day out. Love my new Llama friend 🥰 Highly Recommended 👍
Awesome tour with great sites. The tour guide Fran was easy going and friendly and we felt very safe with the driver Alex. We were lucky to have great weather so the Inca lagoon was stunning as we really enjoyed the winery and llama farm. Be sure to do when staying in Santiago
We had the pleasure of having Fran and Alex lead our tour. Both were very friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and sharing extra information about everywhere we went. I get quite nervous on mountain roads, but Alex was a very experienced driver and the journey was smooth throughout. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you're lucky enough to have both of them!
Fantastic day, both driver Alex and Guide Francesca were excellent. Had enough time at each activity to fully enjoy the moment
Outstanding views on the mountains and nature. We were picked up at 07.50 and dropped off around 16.00. Pick-up went well and the minibus was good. Still at the end a bit high on the cost considering some minor things. At the wine tasting one small glass of white wine was offered first, and then a small pour of red to the same glass where you had the white. No empanadas were offered at the llamas, but there was a stand where you could buy them. At the lagoon we only stayed for 1,5h at the ski resorts hotel to eat lunch that is not included. You could see the lake very well from the hotel's restaurant, but could not go exploring yourself. The guide was very friendly and had some nice stories from the region, but I would have hoped that the history of the Incas would have been discussed at least on some level, since the destination was "Inca Lagoon". All in all, a nice trip and amazing views. If you have not experienced snow before, this is a go to! With small adjustments and meeting the description of the tour it would get 5 stars even with this price.
Joaquin was excellent and was very thorough with his knowledge. Great experience!
Well worth doing, dramatic scenery. Panchi, our guide, was informative and spoke very good English, and we were driven well. A couple of annoyances. We could have had better advice regarding what to bring. We were encouraged to hire a jacket and snow boots because it 'would be cold' (I had left my down jacket in the hotel because we weren't asked to bring warm gear). In the event it was warm, I didn't need the extra jacket, and my own trail shoes would have been fine. That was 20,000 pesos wasted. After the trip I checked the notes and read we would get a free drink with the empanada (I paid for mine). Also, I expected more than a glass of white and a glass of red with a wine tasting, and this would be better on the way back rather than mid-morning. Overall a good trip but need to improve the information and tweak the details.
Panchi was great, knowledgeable, bilingual and very friendly. Mati was a good driver. Thank you to both.
Nice experience. Panchi and Mati did a good job hosting the group.
This was just, hands down, a great experience. We made multiple stops (wine tasting) with the height of the trip stopping at Portillos hotel in the Andes Mountains. Even though it was 30 degrees, because there was no wind, it was WARM via the thermal heat from the sun. It felt like a light heater was on— totally weird experience but quite awesome. (No need to rent the warm weather gear that is suggested ). Lots of photo op stops, along with a hands on experience with llamas and alpacas. Joaquin and Raphael took care of us and I highly recommend the experience. As a note, they picked us up promptly from our hotel at 745am and drop off was around 4pm— so still time for night excursions if we wanted. Also worth nothing, there are not formal stops for food. They recommend you eat breakfast before pick up and there are food trucks at Portillos but no formal sit down affair. The tour includes a stop for empanadas but we ate them enroute back to the hotels. We packed snacks and water since we knew it was an all day event, so it didn’t bother us at all.
Good excursion, it was really beautiful. Nice guide and trip.
A really enjoyable escapade in the Andes. Christopher was an excellent guide: interesting, informative and lots of fun. We got a real sense of the Andes geologically, historically, culturally, saw stunning scenery and ever got to play into the snow!
Great experience . Had a alot of fun. Guide was very informative.
This tour was our favourite one in Santiago, Amazing winery ( best one we thought) playing with snow, beautiful drive, also good tour guide. Thank you so much.
Beautiful day out in Santiago. Safe for the family but full of adventure. Our driver, Roberto is incredibly responsible and safe on the road. While our tour guide, Panchi, knows the area incredibly well, giving us insightful views into the history of the region. The day was filled with interesting activities, but the final location of Inca lagoon is a treasure trove for incredible photos that my fiancée and I will cherish for a lifetime to come.
Great day out with fantastic views. Thoroughly enjoyed the day with Panchi, who kept us well informed and Roberto, the driver who played great tunes along the way. Recommended
The drive up to the Inca Lake and Resort is truly spectacular. The road to Argentina from Chile it something to see by itself! The ski resort and lake are beautiful too. The trip is quite weather dependent though, and it definitely isn’t the same when the fog descends!
I had a fantastic experience on the Portillo tour. Pablo was an outstanding guide; warm, friendly, extremely informative, and his English was excellent. He really went above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoyed the day. One thing I especially appreciated as a solo traveler was that Pablo brought a professional camera and took great photos of everyone throughout the tour, which he later shared with us on WhatsApp. It was such a thoughtful touch and meant that traveling alone was never a disadvantage when it came to capturing memories from the trip. Roberto, our driver, was also excellent. I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey, including the mountain roads. Overall, the tour was extremely well organized and enjoyable, and Pablo and Roberto made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially to anyone traveling solo.
This is a great way to learn about areas outside Santiago. Our day with Esme our guide and Roberto was very enjoyable. We loved experiencing the switchback roadway and Inca Lagoon. Thank you both for a great day. Esme was an outstanding guide. Her ability to switch between languages during her commentary was amazing. It would have been helpful to have a small step to assist getting in and out of the van especially for older travellers.
Great day trip to see the Andes, Inca Lagoon, try Chilean wine and local empanadas. Esme and Roberto did a great job coordinating the tour with several stops along the way. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get out of the city and experience Chile’s outdoors
Amazing scenery and very enjoyable day with Pablo the guide and the driver. Pablo took lots of photos during the visit and sent to the group via WhatsApp which was a nice touch.
Great trip with Pablo and Alex. Really knowledgeable and friendly, took good care of the entire group and made a great trip very memorable. Amazing stops with great views. Thanks so much Richard & Marc
The tour was very interesting and enjoyable. It is a must do tour. Our guide Esme and the driver Rafa were very knowledgeable and were very attentive. The weather was great.
The tour was very interesting and enjoyable. Guide Esme and driver Rafa were very helpful and are very knowledgeable. This is a must do tour. They stopped for photos and videos at the best spots. The weather was perfect. We could see the lake from a little distance and it had mirror like appearance. It was beautiful.
We had a great time. Esmeralda and Rafa were very polite and knowledgeable. The landscape at Inca Lagoon in Portillo was juat breathtaking.
Well worth doing if you want to see the Andes and snow up close. Plenty of stops along the way to stretch legs or visit toilets. Snow boots/clothing can be hired at the first stop. Pablo the guide was very informative and attentive to the group.
Great experience with Pablo and David!
This was an excellent tour and a wonderful way to experience the Chilean Andes. Panchi, our guide, was fantastic, and David was an excellent driver. They made the entire day enjoyable, informative, and comfortable. We traveled along the Los Libertadores Highway, with stops to see Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas, the dramatic Los Caracoles mountain road with its many sharp curves, and the beautiful In Situ Family Vineyard, where we enjoyed wine surrounded by spectacular Andes views. The highlight was Laguna del Inca and Ski Portillo, high in the Andes near the Argentina border. The frozen lake surrounded by snow-covered mountains was absolutely breathtaking. Portillo is the oldest ski resort in South America and has a fascinating history dating back to 1949. I also enjoyed hearing the beautiful Inca legend about how the lake got its emerald color. On the return, we stopped at a llama farm for Chilean empanadas and visited Salto del Soldado, a dramatic canyon with its own fascinating story. I would add pictures but Viator will not allow me.
OMG, beautiful scenery! Everything was absolutely perfect on this trip. I want to give a special shoutout to our tour guide, Nacho, and our driver, Matías. Nacho is so smart and knowledgeable—he knows everything about Chilean history, tourism, and so much more! Matías was our driver for all the day trips here in Chile, and it was fantastic getting to share experiences with him over both days. very recommended ! gonna miss you guys!
We had a fantastic and memorable day exploring the Andes. Pablo, our guide, was excellent — knowledgeable, enthusiastic, punctual, friendly, and full of energy. He took plenty of photos for us and made the whole experience enjoyable. The trip initially looked doubtful due to the weather and road closure, but the company handled it very well, offering an alternative and a suitable refund. When the road reopened, they quickly switched us back to the original experience. Our driver (I believe his name was Rafael) was also very good, especially on the long and winding mountain roads. He drove confidently and made us feel safe throughout. The winery, Inca Lagoon, ski resort, llama farm, and spectacular Andes roads were all amazing. Highly recommended for a truly memorable day! Tip: Bring your own proper shoes, gloves and hat if possible, as rentals can be expensive — especially if, like us, you get lucky with excellent weather and don’t need them.
This was such an amazing experience! The whole day was organized great. We got to see all sorts of animals and of course the lagoon as well! We went on a sunday when the winery is closed, but the wine tasting was still so fun and we also got to see more llamas! Sofía was such a knowledgable and energetic guide, we learnt so much! Would recommend!
It was a very interesting tour, Sofia was nice and friendly, and explained to us in detail what we saw during the tour. We were able to appreciate amazing views, and we spent some time with funny llamas. I absolutely recommend this tour.
Great experience with guide Nacho and Driver Zak. The scenery is amazing and nice wine tasting although very early in the day (around 9.30am). We stopped on the way back for an included empanada which was delicious. Would have preferred to be able to stop for more scenic views as we only stopped for 1 photo of the highest peak at the start of the trip and then again very quickly when we saw wild camelids. However I really enjoyed the trip and would recommend.
Very good tour. Enjoyed the wine, scenery, walking in the snow at Portillo and the empanada on the way back. Our guide Nacho had an amazing breadth of knowledge and the driver Issac was so efficient tackling the traffic up and back down the mountain. Would recommend.
Lovely wine tasting to start the day and beautiful scenery throughout the journey. Our guide Sofía Margarita and Victor were lovely, even putting on the World Cup match so we wouldn’t miss it! Highly recommend if anyone wants to see more of the Andes from Santiago
Really enjoyed this tour. Inca Lagoon was beautiful and nice scenic drive there. Wine tasting in the vineyard was also amazing and good portions. Joaquin was the perfect guide. Perfect mix of informative, engaging, all without being overbearing. Learned some interesting things about Chile. Isaac was a great driver too. Only marked value for money down slightly as I found out on the trip I paid more than some due to time of booking, but I still rate the trip and Joaquin highly.
The tour guide was good, full of fun facts. The tour itself was very mid. Mostly driving to end up at a lake you can only take photos of.
Nacho and Rafael were the best! So friendly and a pleasure to talk to. This has been my favorite tour leaving from santiago, beautiful landscapes and cool stops. Would definitely book again!
Very entertaining tour and the tour guide nacho and the driver were very nice and amicable
This was a brilliant trip, Daniel our guide was so knowledgable and friendly. The trip was well organised and had so many different things to see and do - I would highly recommend!
Was offered this tour as a last minute change for another cancelled tour at no extra fee. Could not recommend enough! Pablo and Isaac our guides were fantastic, facilitating in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. The tour itself was perfect for a one day experience into the Andes and everything ran extremely smoothly! Everyone seemed genuinely happy with the tour. The guides were passionate about the tour and went above and beyond to give extra pieces of information where they could.
Sofia is a great guide. The trip was amazing. We got to know about a lot of facts regarding Chile, Santiago, andels and so on. I really recommend this trip.
This is a great and informative tour. Daniel was an excellent guide and was a wealth of knowledge. The wine was delicious and the views spectacular.
Had a great day. Esme our guide and Isaac our driver were amazing. The trip was everything we expected. The winery, the Andes scenery and the crazy switchback road up to the Portillo ski fields And the Inca Lake were the highlights. Esme switched between English and Spanish with ease. A long but enjoyable day.
We didn’t actually get to take this tour, but we did want to share what a great experience we had handling the logistics beforehand. Our flight arriving into Chile was delayed by over 24 hours, which meant we were going to miss our original date. However, it was too close to the date that we couldn’t cancel for free. They allowed us to switch the tour to a different date without any complications. Unfortunately, the tour ended up being canceled due to weather and they offered us 3 options. Super easy, no fuss. Thank you! Stamps Tour group was running this. We had taken a different tour through Stamps Tour group and they did a wonderful job!
Amazing experience, Sophie and Rafa were amazing guides and we had a great day with everyone.
The day trip is superb with Sofia and the handsome driver (I forgot his name). They are friendly and Sofia is knowledgeable about everything and we had a great conversation during wine tasting session. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for great scenery with great tour guide and driver!
We had a fabulous day with Sofi and Rafa , they were so knowledgeable and made the trip so fun. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to see Chile outside of the city.
