We had the most amazing day to Portillo and a beautiful boutique winery, Viña El Escorial. Our guide Sebastian was extremely knowledgeable, personable and helped make the day very special, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We would highly recommend!

We begin our journey to Portillo along the Los Caracoles route, with 29 winding curves through the majestic Andes, elevating you to 3000 meters above sea level, offering you a naturally captivating experience and phenomenal views.
Explore the magic of Laguna del Inca, an oasis of tranquility in the Andes, where its crystal-clear waters and ancestral history invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. We will make our lunch stop at the historic and first ski center in Chile the Portillo hotel with wonderful views of the lake and the mountains that house it
We will visit the main route between Los Andes, Valparaíso Region, (Chile) and the province of Mendoza, (Argentina), which allows the passage of heavy vehicles between both countries
We will make a technical stop at the Ventisquero mountain refuge where you can buy empanadas, use toilets and interact with llamas.
Discover Viña El Escorial, a historic boutique winery founded in 1880 in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley. Just minutes from San Felipe, this family-owned vineyard offers a unique experience where visitors enjoy a guided tour through the estate and underground wine cellar, followed by a tasting of wines surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery

We requested Christian for our second tour in Chili since he did such an outstanding job on our first one. And we are so happy we did. We feel like friends now and he is a gracious, kind and knowledgeable guide. If we ever had the opportunity again I would request him.
The views and the places in general we went to were amazing and unforgettable. I highly recommend doing this tour. The price though is a bit high as it is mainly a "taxi" service with some information from the guide and a wine tasting session. The guide was really nice, flexible, approachable.
We had a beautiful day for the long drive to Portillo. Julio was an excellent guide. The hotel and setting are beautiful. The restaurant does not offer a full menu until noon, but the wine list was excellent, and the food was good and reasonably priced. My only complaint would be concerning the winery. We received very little service and there was no one there. The setting, however, is beautiful at Errazariz. if I did the tour again, I would definitely pick one with more wineries. The company to their credit communicated well, and even though we were the only couple on the tour, they honored their commitment. we thank them for that.
I thought the trip would be different. I didn't realize that there would be so much driving. Once we arrived, we had great views of the lake and canyon. The winery was very nice. Just too much driving for this old guy's liking. The driver was courteous and professional
Our guide was great! He was informative and a very good driver. That matters because we spent 10 hours with him, the majority of which was riding in a mini van. The drive to Portillo was three hours without a rest stop. The road is two lane with lots of big tricks, 32 switchbacks, and magnificent views. The lake is beautiful and interesting, set among ski slopes where olympians train. We were there for an hour. We walked around for a bit then opted to only have a drink at the hotel and had lunch at a nice local restaurant part way down the mountain. The food was authentic Chilean and very good! Our next stop was 1.5 hours away at the Errazuriz winery. We tasted two wines, a Chardonnay and a Carmenere in a beautiful setting. The grounds and gardens are spectacular! We spent about an hour there then drove back to Santiago, which was almost 2 hours. We enjoyed the tour but would have liked to have known how much time we’d be in a car!
Mauricio was a great driver and guide! He was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. The view at Laguna Del Inca was breathtaking.
We stopped at the Vina Errazuriz winery for a wine tasting, and it was absolutely lovely there. We unfortunately did not get a tour of the winery, but the tasting of the two wines was very nice and relaxed in a beautiful setting. On the way up to the Laguna del Inca, the van overheated and we were stuck on the side of the road in the Andes mountains for 3 1/2 hours. I’m not sure what oversight the company has of the maintenance of the vans they use for transport. After a new van and driver came out to our location, we were able to continue our way up to Hotel Portillo for lunch (and the bathroom!). The views from the dining room were lovely, but the hotel was not serving the full famous Portillos menu, only the “fast food menu”, which was still decent since it included burgers, fries, and other warm sandwiches. On the way back, we made a brief stop to see the view of the switchbacks and then drove back to the hotel in Santiago.
A very enjoyable day exploring a couple of very special Chilean sights. The combination of Errazuriz Winery and Laguna del Inca (Portillo) gave us a fantastic taste of local touristic sights. Our guide John (sic) was engaging, enthusiastic, and passionate in his delivery of the tour and it was good to have a more personal experience.
This trip was incredible!! Mauricio is a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and personable. The vineyard we went to was truly stunning and the trip to the Inca lagoon was amazing. This is a don’t miss experience for sure! We loved it!
Tour cancelled by the Operator .Refund not received. Really disappointed by cancelation at the last moment. Wasted one day because of the tour operator failure. Viator is responsible to get the refund to me.
The whole tour went as expected. The landscapes are beautiful. The service is very good. Angelo and Benjamin are very attentive to tourists
What an amazing trip! Alvaro and Gregorio were just awesome!! Alvaro was very knowledgeable and had a great interactive personality while Gregorio was a fantastic chauffeur and driver on these crazy roads! We stopped on the way to Portillo at a vineyard that was just so cute! Wines were really very good and prices were great! Next the switchbacks(windy roads) (28 of them) were filled with adrenaline but Gregorio was a master of the road!! Portillo was beautiful but I have to say the food inside did not look good and we did not partake but the food truck was good we had the empanadas and they were tasty. The trip to get there and home were well worth it especially with Alvaro as the guide!!
A great way to go sightseeing in the Andes near Santiago. The wine from In Situ winery tasted delicious. We also got a chance to see llamas, eat at a delicious local restaurant, and see the Aconcagua mountain from the distance. Alvaro was a great guide and spoke Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Great and interesting tour. Alvaro the tour guide was one of the best guides I went on tour with! The wineyard and the wine was amazing. The mountains were breathtaking!
Fantastic tour and the guide and busdriver where great! Alvaro had a lot of knowledge and we learnt a lot. Views where amazing! Would highly recommend. The winery was superb and staff great! Will remember for a lonf time :)
Great day, full of history and stunning sceneries. Thank you very much to Alvaro for your great service as our guide and to our driver Gregorio for driving is safely. It was great value for money.
Definitely would recommend this tour. Our guide Antonio was very knowledgeable and friendly, answering any questions. A great historian. We felt safe with our driver, especially on the "snail road", which can be scary with its 30 sharp curves and all the trucks we cross. Safety is their priority. Many stops along the way to take in the views (and use the bathroom) with enough time to get some pictures . Expect to pay for bathrooms unless you buy something at the restaurants. About 1,000 pesos. At Portillo hotel, there's a restaurant. There's also a food truck with good inexpensive food. The winery is small and it was very casual. Nothing fancy. It's a bit of a sales pitch, however the wine was good and very inexpensive. I could go on and on... We only missed the llamas...
The views of the Andes are amazing!!! I would recommend this trip for anyone! There were several stops along the way for great photo ops. The winery stop was fantastic!
Well organised day trip to Andes. Samantha, our guide was very helpful and well organised. Communicating well before and during the trip. In Situ Vineyard where we stopped was good and scenic. Drive to Inca lagoon took a bit longer due to traffic issues.
Benjamin the guide a Ricardo gave us an excellent treatment, friendly, communicative and respectful. The transport was an excellent choice.
Great company. Everything went as planned. We were picked up on schedule! And the tour was fantastic! super worth going to Portillo! Julio who served us was polite and attentive. I recommend!
Amazing experience, loved everything! Julio was a dear, we did a great trip, the vineyard is amazing, I would like to have more time la inclusive! The lake is beautiful, at that time it is quite empty, we made a stop in a place with lamas on the way to Caracoles, it was excellent!
It was a spectacular day, we had a great time on the tour, Valeska and Hans were excellent hosts, helped us a lot and gave us very good tips to visit Chile. The tour was very fun, very well explained and kindness to spare, highly recommended
Very good tour and the structure and staff of the agency are congratulations! I would choose them again to make the walks.
Incredible experience! I recommend everyone who is as lucky as us to go with Guide Daniel. The script is excellent, Portillo is beautiful and the whole experience is worth it. Go without fear! It's very worth it.
It was an incredible experience, an extraordinary Guide, knowing everything, attentive and polite, super recommend the company
Very attentive, beautiful places and made our tour an incredible experience. I highly recommend, congratulations!
We were as a family my husband and my two daughters, we loved the tour, Mauritius very good person explained everything, we loved learning a lot about the culture of Chile, Portillo very nice totally recommended
It is an unforgettable experience, I recommend it to 100, the excellent Guide (Álvaro), hopefully they can give themselves the opportunity to go and live this tour.
The tour was excellent, we passed by beautiful and wonderful places, the Guide Álvaro is extremely friendly and has a lot of knowledge about the history of the country, I liked too much.
Punctual, very informative, entertaining, good group size (about 15 people), very pleasant driver, super organized!
Really good Guide who knows good English. Alvaro could even answer any questions we had. Nice drive with interesting guidance along the way. Nice reception and interesting tour of the vineyard. The wine tasting had really good wines with fantastic views of the vineyards towards the Andes. At the shitty variety it was great, but the food in the lunch service was beneath contempt. It would have been good to know that there is also a pub with à la carte menu. Great luck in every way
In a single day and tour I could have the experience of tasting wines within the own vineyard, taking pictures with lhama and ending the day with the beautiful view of the Inca lagoon. The Guide Álvaro made everything perfect, always very attentive and willing to help so that we had the best experience possible.
Amazing landscapes; wonderful places with spectacular lagoon views. The lunch left a little to be desired and the return was slower than expected but was worth the visit and the Guide Alvaro; very inspired.
Amazing experience, nice views and both Guide and driver were very attentive. Our Guide Alvaro, it was amazing. Highly recommended
For most of the route, the landscapes are beautiful, very stunning, great to take beautiful photos and enjoy the cold of the Andes...
Guide Alvaro and the driver were great! They informed us all the way and were always very attentive to see how we were and not to miss any of the tour! A 10 out of 10.
It was an amazing experience! We were very well received by our Guide Lilian, who has an amazing astral and was available to help us and clarify our doubts during the tour. The company was indication of a friend and I super indicate the company and this tour.
Very good experience, Guide and driver very friendly and inquisitive with us, explaining everything about the tour, taking doubts and etc, well worth it. Note ten!
We love all the activities of the tour! The vineyard, the interaction with the flames and especially the contact with the snow and the views of the mountains and Portillo. All fantastic! And of course, our Guide Alvaro is 10. Explained every detail of the attractions, super friendly and requested. We highly recommend.
Alvaro Excellent Guide and very friendly our family was very happy, a very beautiful and productive tour indicate for those looking for experiences.
It was great, from the communication and all organization before going to pick us up at the hotel, to all care during the tour, the Guide Álvaro was sensational in the concern, care and historical context of everything we were seeing, note 10.
We had an amazing experience on this tour, combined with adventures, snow and wine. The Guide ALVARO is excellent, a very good person, along the way, explained us the history of Chile and its independence, as well as was very attentive and very fun throughout the journey. I highly recommend this tour!!! Who comes Pro Chile has to do!!!!
Very nice ride! Delicious and visual top wines in Portillo. But surely the Guide Álvaro made all the difference, super attentive and enlightening! We'll be back!
It was a very very good experience! We stayed 6 days in Chile and this tour was amazing! Not to mention that of all the tours the Guide Álvaro was the best Thank you Alvaro for your performance and for your empathy with tourists!!
Excellent tour, very good view, had a lot of fun, had a great day. The Great Guide. Alvaro 100% recommended and also the driver. Good duo
It is an excellent tour to do as a couple, with friends or alone. Maybe a little long to do with kids. It is the perfect tour to tour the main attractions of chili in a day. An hour and a half free in the center of Portillo sky and the lagoon of the Inca. On return a stop of approximately 45 minutes in a vineyard with tasting of 3 glasses of different wines. The agency super friendly and resolute. The friendly and fun Guide (Hector) something that is essential to make the trip enjoyable, the reference and talks about places is the right. I recommend this adventure 👍.
