Our guide Andres was amazing very knowledgeable and always smiling. Tricia our backup guide was also very helpful. The walk was easy and you don’t need a great deal of fitness to complete it. Great scenery

This was such a great day- our guide showed up at exactly the time they said they would and we had the opportunity to stop and get coffee and breakfast/ snacks on the way. The ride was comfortable and Patricia told us about the region along the way. It was an amazing hike and just incredible scenery with lunch by the river. When we got back to the car there were snacks and wine. The hike was not too intense but the beginning was pretty rocky. I would say medium intensity. I would do it again and again- I couldn’t get enough of the beautiful views.
Excellent tour, well prepared and organized with two enthusiastic guides
My family and I have been fortunate to explore many different countries and had fun adventures. The day we spent with Gonzalo hiking the Maipo Valley was one of the best excursions we’ve ever taken! Perfect weather, beautiful scenery, and having Gonzalo as our tour guide made it a perfect day. We even hiked back down with a herd of 100+ goats! And the surprise waiting for us at the bus was super special. If you can spare a day on your Santiago vacation and love to hike, I highly recommend this excursion.
This hike exceeded my expectations and was the highlight of my time in the Santiago area. It was the perfect introduction to the Andes, with incredible scenery and stunning vistas throughout the day. The route was active and engaging without being overly strenuous — a great balance that left us feeling accomplished while still being able to enjoy the surroundings. Our guides were fantastic. Rafael, the lead guide, shared so much knowledge about the landscape, geology and history of the area, which made the experience even more meaningful. The second guide was also incredibly kind and attentive, helping make sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and supported. The day ended with such a thoughtful touch — wine, drinks and snacks while taking in the views. The group dynamic made it even better; it was a small group of seven hikers, which made the experience feel personal and fun. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Santiago who enjoys being outdoors. It’s a wonderful way to experience the Andes in a memorable and approachable way.
Absolutely incredible day out with Andres and Gonzalo and the other 5 participants. The experience was magical. Nobody else there apart from us. The most amazing scenery. Used snow shoes for the first time. Loved every minute. Cannot recommend this tour company enough. When we got back down from the walk there was a gorgeous table set up with wine, cheese, meats, fruits, crackers etc. The perfect end to the perfect day.
My adult son and I had an amazing time on this tour- a mother and son time to reconnect. Our guides could not have been more interesting in talking about the formations we encountered and caretaking of the group. I am a senior in pretty good shape but not an athlete, and found the altitude and rocky terrain a little challenging- at first-but not the distance- and this was a highlight of my longer vacation trip! Raimundo was communicative and answered all my individual questions prior to the event and sent preparation reminders the day before. The van arrived exactly on time and the group was companionable. I would highly recommend this (as long as no knee problems) and I would do it again! Beautiful day hiking in the Andes.
I had a fantastic experience on this day hike near a volcano in El Cajón del Maipo! The trail was the perfect balance of refreshing and challenging, making for a great workout surrounded by stunning natural scenery. Laura and Lorena (guides) were incredible guides — super attentive, knowledgeable, and full of positive energy, which made the whole day even more special. What made this tour enjoyable was the fun, international group. We all mingled effortlessly, sharing stories and laughs along the way. To top it off, we ended the day eating local fruits and wine surrounded by breathtaking views — a perfect finale. If you're short on time but still want a taste of Chile’s nature, this is the ideal tour. I highly recommend it!
This hike was the best part of our vacation. We had a beautiful 4-5 hour hike where we saw many different viewpoints of the Andes. With each viewpoint we saw different colors from the mountains. We are in the valley for the majority of the time so the hike wasn’t too demanding.
Highly recommended!!. The organization was very good, they gave solutions to my requests (it is better to communicate with them by whatsapp as it is faster). The day of the excursion everything was perfect, I felt safe with them and me and my brother had an incredible time. The scenery is stunning. Please note, this experience is NOT for people with heart, respiratory or musculoskeletal conditions, and if you are sedentary, you may not feel well. Otherwise... you must do it!
Still thinking about this amazing day. I signed up by myself, not really knowing what to expect. I could not have wished for better company! It was a beautiful hike with amazing views. The guides were experienced, but most of all kind, caring and super fun. I also really liked that they shared interesting facts about the Andes, and we even got to see some interesting wild life such as a condor, a very rare type of frog, and even an Andes hummingbird from very close by. The picnic with local wine and cheese was the cherry on top of an incredible day. This is truly an experience I will never forget.
It was awesome! The tour guide (Alfredo) was very good, mich Info, very prudent and the location was incredible! Please try to do the condor view hike too! That’s mindblowing!!! Thanks to andoandes!!
I spend a very good moment. Beautiful view and the guide was very kind and professional! I recommended
This was my second time to do this tour. I had my daughter with me; we had originally planned to ski but the conditions were bad so needed another plan and I knew this was a great day out. Booking was simple with good communication from the office staff and pickup from our hotel was on time the following day. We stopped after 1 hour for breakfast in a nice local restaurant then continued, via a short stop at a beautiful waterfall, to the start of our hike. The guides were well prepared, experienced, knowledgeable and very helpful all day long. They emphasised our safety and hiked at a pace comfortable for everyone (teens through to retirees in our group). The hike is not difficult and regular stops for water/ rest /photos were made. We were all provided with hiking poles and a packed lunch which we ate in a beautiful location on the mountain. The scenery was simply incredible and well worth the effort - we were also lucky enough to see several condors. After returning to the bus we stopped again on the way home at the same restaurant for a local snack and a glass of wine - also included in the price. Arrived safely back at the hotel in time for a shower and dinner. Perfect. This is a well run, professional company which I will definitely use again and recommend highly.
This was an outstanding excursion with ride up through Cajon del Maipo to a hike towards San Jose Volcan. Given the early spring weather resulting in early melting of the snow, our guides indicated that the full 8K hike would not be suitable, so a side trip to a waterfall was added. This resulted in a fortuitous meeting with a local herd of free-range goats and an opportunity to see several Andean condors nearby. The hike towards San Jose Volcan entailed a breathtaking range of views, and we lunched by a stream coming down from the glacier abutting the Volcan. The trail we followed, eventually can lead up to the Volcan rim, and is suitable for snow camping, and apparently there are huts about. The overall experience was enhanced by both guides that joined us, Pancho (Francisco) and Pato (Patricio). They were both knowledgeable on a variety of topics, including geology, the local fauna and flora, the history of Chile and current events impacting on Cajon del Maipo. Furthermore, they were attentive to all members of the group.
The tour was amazing and the views breathtaking!! The tour was very easy to book with them. They were very fast to respond by email and what’s app! Very friendly organisation! They pick us at our airbnb before the tour. They accommodated our food restrictions without problem. The guides Gonzalo y victor and also the driver Felipe were very amazing and funny ! They teach us a lot about the history, fauna and flore or the andes and of the country! We felt in security we them they were very caring about every body. The tour was with a small group so that make up appreciate more the activity. At the and of the tour they even help us we tips to continue our trip safely that was very appreciated!!
I enjoyed snowshoes hiking near volcano San Jose. It's a new experience. Also, our guide Franco was really nice. He wad glad to help anything and took good care of group members. I had a great time in the tour.👍
They arrived on time, very punctual and totally personalized. Easy and beautiful route, not demanding. We were lucky enough to see condors and lizards. The guide was 10, sack photos and videos spectacular. Very good experience, highly recommended
Nice day trip from Santiago with volcano views, hiking and surprise. Our guide Elias was fantastic and I would recommend the tour
Spectacular tour, Laura and Raymond were great guides, very friendly and open to answer all doubts. The landscape is otherworldly!
Wonderful! I recommend! No words to describe the power of nature! Being in the midst of the Andes was a unique experience in life! Our guide Andrei was excellent, he had knowledge of history, geology, botany and the animals of that habitat. It was a complete experience in a place full of snow (any Brazilian is stunning) and unique beauties, surrounded by mountains. We get a snack when we get to the mountains, rackets and sticks to walk in the snow. On the return, we were surprised by a special picnic, with delicacies and wine! Perfect day!!! Before the trail AndoAndes was also very attentive, always took my doubts.
Fantastic, recommend for those who have an adventurous spirit and love nature. A day to stay in memory.
It is an amazing experience in every way. Everything was as described. Juan, our guide, was very friendly and willing to take many photos 😜 Super commander any tour with this agency!
It was all great. From the explanations, to the sympathetic guides and to the walk itself. We always feel safe and accompanied. I recommend it to those who wanted to do trekking in Chile but are not very used to it yet.
I found spectacular, cost too much!! It's beautiful the guide Gonzalo is great, led us to the top of the stones to take pictures. Super recommend!!!
