I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The highlights were definitely its excellent location, which made it very convenient to get around, and the spacious room. The hotel’s facilities are also very good, and the service throughout my stay was attentive and reliable. The breakfast, while decent, could offer a wider variety of options. Additionally, the shower pressure was not very strong.
The location is next to one of the biggest shopping centers in Santiago, Parque Arauco Mall. However guests have use the pedestrian bridge that takes about 15 minutes from the hotel. The amenities are very basic. You will not any electrical input that allows international and universal plug. The plug has to be three or double pin hole. The general idea is that the hotel needs a major makeover to upgrade its facilities. I also wanted compliment on Gustavo, Luis and Puloma and Patricio, their customer services went beyond the milestone.
Friendly and professional staff. Spacious rooms. Spacious bathroom. Great breakfast! Location is central but 15min walk to this business district.
I was browsing this hotel and due to a booking glitch, the payment went through even though I did not intend to complete it. The charge was still pending, so I immediately called the hotel to cancel. Despite this, they flat-out refused to refund me. For a hotel of this size and reputation, it’s unacceptable not to accommodate a simple request caused by a technical issue that was completely outside of my control. Mistakes happen, but refusing to work with guests to resolve them shows a real lack of customer care. I expected far better service and accountability from Wyndham. If flexibility and fairness matter to you, I would think twice before booking here.
The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is decent. The hotel is old and needs a MAJOR renovation. The beds aren’t rock hard but they aren’t as comfortable as most suggested in there reviews. There was an assortment of pillows and some were ok and others were terrible. Our room needed a deep clean, it was superficially clean. The bathtub wasn’t clean, it looked as it needed a major scrub down. One of the walls was dirty and some things had stains. The one cup that was offered was dirty too. One of the major things that had me concerned was that the window that opened couldn’t lock, so although it would close it didn’t have any safety lock. I have small children and that could have been an easy horrific accident as we were on the 8th floor. Hoping that they fix those issues. If there was absolutely NO other option for me but to stay here then I would otherwise I won’t be ever staying there again until they renovate themselves.
