The hotel's infrastructure seems decent, but the service is terrible. They don't have an iron or housekeeping service on Sundays, and towels aren't provided daily. Even with breakfast included, it's not worth it; the quality is poor. They give you salami, cheese, two rolls, a piece of fruit, milk, instant coffee, cereal, and packaged juice—nothing of high quality. The USB ports in the rooms are all broken and don't work, and no one answers the reception desk from the room phone. The receptionist is unresponsive and unresponsive to guest complaints, and the Wi-Fi keeps cutting out. There aren't many other accommodation options in the area. The single beds are small. With trained staff, this hotel would be a completely different experience. Currently, it's a zero for service; it's not even close to a four-star hotel.
Breakfast is a joke; they shouldn't even offer it. The walls are incredibly thin, and you can hear everything from the next room. We had a jerk in the adjoining room (628) who played his music at full volume every night. Every day we called the receptionist to ask him to turn it down; he'd do it for half an hour and then turn it right back up. Not recommended. Next time, we'll stay at the Courtyard or Marriott Parque Arauco.
We arrived and the receptionist was there with her boss, I suppose. We greeted them, but neither responded. They took a long time to attend to us, and when the receptionist finally did, it was all very reluctant. They don't even have the decency to provide proper service, even though we weren't rude or anything like that at any point. She never explained how breakfast worked or where the pool was located. We weren't going to ask anyway, because we knew her attitude would have been just as harsh. The apartments are nice. However, the kitchen equipment is incomplete. The Wi-Fi in the room is terrible. The first night, they only gave us one towel, even though there were two of us. Breakfast consisted of two bags of cereal, a carton of milk, two juices, two apples, and a coffee/tea maker. Very basic for what you pay. Once again, the woman with glasses who answers the phone horribly and calls herself a receptionist... I wish she would learn some customer service.
The hotel is billed as a high quality apartment hotel. We stayed there for its proximity to family members. The hotel was inconsistent and service was not great. It is billed as an apartment hotel and it has plates, cups and cutlery for two. It also had two pots and pans but no spatula or other implements to stir. There was no dish soap provided to clean the dishes or a rag. The hotel informed us we had to provide that. The maids did clean the dishes but left them wet on the sink. The safe in the room did not work and when asked about it the desk clerk could not fix it either. It had a number of amenities listed that were not there such as an iron. The hair dryer only worked on low and could not be fixed. Hand soap was only provided once and toilet paper had to be asked for a number of times. Only two towels were provided and when asked for more we were told no. One day the maid left a rubber glove on the night stand another day the maid left a dirty dish sponge next to the sink. There is no maid service on Sundays and that meant that the simple breakfast they served was not provided for Monday morning even though we paid for it. Response from the front desk staff was not helpful.
